I have been staying in AirBnBs since they launched, and this may be the most beautiful home I’ve had the pleasure to rent. Modern and comfortable, and the spa is truly one-of-a-kind. We stayed two nights and I’d recommend a third, to have time for a bigger hike to visit the caves, try more restaurants, and luxuriate in the spa. The town outside the old city is also quite lovely.

Appartamento dotato di ogni confort, proprietari sempre pronti a darti un consiglio e risolvere tempestivamente problematiche. Nonostante la colazione non fosse inclusa ci hanno fatto trovare tante merendine, succhi di frutta e una bottiglia di latte, come anche l'acqua e la macchina del caffè con decine di capsule. Posizione ottima, assolutamente consigliato.

Si bien en términos generales el departamento está muy bien, el inodoro está muy mal ubicado respecto al lavamanos por ende es difícil sentarse y orinar/defecar en comodidad. Por otro lado, no tiene wifi, eso está aclarado en la publicación pero a nosotros se nos pasó por alto. No obstante, Francesco muy amable y nos consiguió una clave de acceso a wifi ya que precisabamos conexión para cuestiones laborales. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer Matera. Saludos!

Siamo stati molto bene, Raf molto disponibile e gentile . Siamo arrivati in una giornata di emergenza idrica per una rottura di una tubatura dell'acquedotto ma Raf ci ha informati per tempo e ci ha fornito tutte l'indicazione utili per affrontatare l'emergenza poi appena ripristinato il tutto immediatamente si è recato per attivarci i servizi dell'alloggio. Grazie Raf

ci siamo trovati davvero bene la struttura era impeccabile i proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio e tutto era super pulìto. Poi non capita tutti i giorni di fare un’esperienza immersiva all’interno di una grotta e dormire isolato da tutto il resto. Silenzioso e appartato davvero ottimo. grazie ♥️

Prospero è proprio un super host! Gentilissimo e pronto a dare indicazioni utili per visitare la città e per gli spostamenti. Ci ha accolte personalmente e accompagnate alla fermata il giorno della nostra partenza. La casa si trova fuori dal centro ma vicina, in una posizione comoda per spostarsi a piedi. La zona é tranquilla e abbiamo apprezzato il gazebo esterno con le sdraio e il tavolino. Gli spazi sono esattamente come in foto. Non abbiamo utilizzato la cucina, se non per preparare il caffè e scaldare l’acqua per la colazione. Anche se molto piccola sembrava ben attrezzata. Tutto pulito e preparato con molta cura.

This place is truly amazing. We did not realize the extent of the history of the area and of the apartment. We are actually staying in a cave that probably how is the people over 1000 years ago. The Work put in to renovating this place and giving it all the modern conveniences while preserving so much of the history is tremendous. The amenities are top-notch. The shower, of course with our favorite out of six stops in southern Italy. My only complaint and this is of no fault of our host, is that Parking can be a big challenge. You cannot drive your car to the apartment as it is a restricted zone. And once you are parked, you have to get your baggage to the apartment and that involves lots and lots of stairs. But again, that’s the price you pay for staying in such a unique environment. We can 100% recommend this apartment.

villa molto carina, rispondente alle foto e alla descrizione ma a viverla più in alto delle aspettative. letto comodo, spazio esterno fatto molto bene, fresca d'estate, molto verde in una zona di campagna abitata e tranquilla, molto comoda a un passo dal paese, completamente recintata per la sicurezza dei nostri animali domestici , Tiziana è un hosting disponibile e responsabile, siamo stati bene 5 gg.

La signora Lorella è stata una persona eccezionale e sempre disponibile. Purtroppo non ho avuto la possibilità di conoscerLa di persona e abbiamo dovuto fare il selfcheck in che è stato facilissimo poiché ci ha sempre fornito indicazioni attraverso foto e video per attuarlo. La casa corrisponde alle foto e ai servizi forniti: accogliente, pulita e super profumata con un profumo ambiente per ogni camera che le rendeva ognuna distinta. È vicinissima al centro di Matera e ai limiti della ZTL. Inoltre, se ci si vuole spostare verso la Puglia come Alberobello, Locorotondo, è situata ad una altezza comoda per questi spostamenti nelle vicinanze. Ritornerò sicuramente qui.

Location da paura al centro di Matera, apri la porta e ti trovi una delle chiese principali a destra e una magnifica vista dei sassi a sinistra, se mai tornerò a Matera sarà di sicuro l unica stanza che vorrò, l’host super cordiale e accomodante, lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

This is a great place to explore Matera from. It's clean, quiet and comfortable, and close to restaurants and of course the sassi. Valeria is a great host. She has everything you could possibly need available. She is also extremely responsive. When we had trouble with the front door (which was our own fault), it was resolved in minutes. Will definitely stay here again!

Casa San Martino: Siamo stati accolti benissimo da Francesco e Florinda (F&F) e prima ancora via telefono Francesco è stato molto esausistivo su alcune ns domande. La "casetta" è molto accogliente e caratteristica oltre che comoda e arredata con tutti i comforts !!!! La posizione è in pieno centro storico e per il parcheggio abbiamo avuto un permesso per la ZTL. A pochi passi, vi sono diversi servizi; in particolare il locale La Cavallerizza dove abbiamo consumato la prima colazione gentilmente offerta da F&F. La posizione è strategica per chi ha intenzione di spostarsi per le diverse località limitrofe: Marina di Ginosa, Matera, Alberobello ... Da consigliare per famiglie e giovani !!!!

What a beautiful and interesting place to stay. We enjoyed staying here as it’s just outside the high tourist sections but with easy short walk to get there. It was quiet and the view from the balcony were amazing! Giancarlo was very nice during the check in process and Rosalba made wonderful dining recommendations. Def try the restaurant below the apartment!
