Casa das Dias is a 1-bedroom house located in the historical center of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. We had a lovely stay in Francisco‘s house. The house is 2 minutes walking distance from the coast located in a beautiful and calm city with a couple of nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The house itself looks like it was recently renovated, with a fully equipped kitchen, a sizeable modern bathroom, living room + TV and WiFi and 2 bedrooms on the second floor providing enough space for groups of up to 4 people. Recommended 5/5.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Alain’s apartment in Vila Franca do Campo. The view from both balconies was stunning and completely unobstructed. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was clearly recently renovated, with a fresh, modern, and spotless feel throughout. There was plenty of parking available along the seawall, just a short two-minute walk from the apartment. Being right next to a fishing port added to the charm and authenticity of the location—we really enjoyed watching the fishermen return with their daily catch.

Incredible stay! Joana’s place is just as pictured, but the pictures don’t capture the beauty and tranquility of her home. The house is tucked back in a hill with an ocean view. Easy to find with the GPS. Parking across the street with 4 children in tow, we were mindful of the road, but there was never an issue. We found it to be a convenient home base for our trip. Joana was very easy to communicate with. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our kids loved exploring the grounds and being surrounded by nature. Home is well equipped to cook and relax. Bonus has a washer and dryer which was needed after adventuring through the island. If we are ever lucky enough to come back to the green island we would stay here again.

What a great place to unwind while exploring the island! Iva was so friendly and greeted us personally, providing lots of suggestions and clear instructions. She is also very responsive. I would definitely stay here again. Book your stay with Iva - you will be happy you did!

We had a great stay at Nelson’s place in Vila Franca do Campo. The apartment is well-located, close to the supermarket, the harbor, and a perfect base to explore all corners of Sao Miguel by car, as it is centrally located in the island. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the laundry facilities and the quiet neighborhood. Nelson was a fantastic host, always responsive and kind, he offered great recommendations while checking in on what to see and do around the island. He helped us with some practical tips that made our experience even better. Thank you, Nelson, for your hospitality. We’d gladly stay again on a future trip to the Azores.

This house was in a great location, easy to get anywhere in the island. It was a convenient space with room for a family of 3 adults to spread out and has a great communal space as well. It was really nice to have a garage to park our rental car. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals and a grocery store right down the road. Check-in was flexible and we were greeted, given a quick tour, and left with the keys. The beach was a quick walk down the road and a path and we were the only ones there! I recommend this rental to anyone coming to Sao Miguel.

El apartamento era muy espacioso y bonito, estaba muy ordenado y limpio. El barrio era muy tranquilo y no había ningún tipo de ruido. La anfitriona es súper amable y atenta, respondía a todos los mensajes rápidamente y era muy resolutiva además de decirnos locales cercanos para comer y supermercados. Nuestra estancia ha sido súper cómoda y confortante.
