Vacation rentals with a fireplace in São Francisco da Serra

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Tehla and thank Mariana from the heart for her hospitality and great service! She tried at every moment to give us the most beautiful time! We were in the house with our small children and enjoyed the large living and dining area very much. The kitchen is beautiful and the rooms are equipped with large closets. Thanks a million, Mariana, for the great time!

Excellent stay! The house is very nice, even better than the pictures show. Pedro and his father, Mr. Manuel, are very friendly and very attentive hosts. Mr. Manuel, who welcomed us and even left us a wonderful bread for breakfast the next morning. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful place, fully equipped with everything we need. Comfortable beds. All windows have mosquito nets and shutters. extreme heat weekend, it was always cool. During the day, the outdoor space by the pool with lounge chairs, a hat and a pergola area for meals is perfect. In the morning and evening (with a citronella candle and some repellent) the floral pergola area in front of the house was all we needed to enjoy the weekend. It is 40 minutes from the beaches of Melides, Aberta Nova, Pego and Carvalhal, and 10 minutes from Alcácer do Sal, where there is everything we need, restaurants and supermarkets.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We stayed for a week with our baby and had a wonderful time. It‘s a super peaceful, beautiful place - especially the surrounding grounds are magical. The house itself is simple but cozy and very charming, the terrace overlooking the property‘s nature is a wonderful place to hang out and chill, and we made good use of the BBQ and outside shower. At some point we had a power outage, but Ana dealt with it promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a retreat in nature.

Absolutely gorgeous and very well equipped house with a lovely pool in a nice quarter not far from Comporta. Beautiful surroundings (trees/forest right behind the house) and close to the beach. It was one of the best stays I've ever had, we plan to return. We were a group of 8 couples and two children, we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Susana's house has everything you need, and we didn't even know we needed, for a spectacular stay. One of the details we really appreciated was that there were glasses/wine glasses for the pool/outdoor area. The property was super clean and has shaded parking. The house has towels for the pool and the kitchen is fully equipped. Susana has prepared a list of recommendations on restaurants, beaches, chefs who come to the house... Spectacular attention, thank you! The one who received us was Mrs. Sónia, who is a sweetheart, to whom I thank very much for her kindness and attention. We plan to return and I highly recommend Susana's house! Thanks and see you next time =)

The apartment is in the middle of nature, but not far from the beautiful village of Odiceixe. It is very tastefully decorated and we felt very comfortable there!

Highly recommended. We had a little problem with the light and the water heater and he was attentive the whole time until it was solved, and on top of that he returned part of the amount for no reason. Very satisfied 👍🏽

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach and very quiet. You can see that every detail in the house was thought about, for example, the fact that all the windows included mosquito nets and blinds. Overall, the house was also really clean. The only thing that could be improved is the bedroom pillows. I would definitely stay here again.

We really appreciated this lovely little flat in Setubal. Margarida’s aunt met us and showed us where and how to use everything. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The terrace is definitely a highlight with 360’ views of the waterfront and the city. We found this location ideal for exploring the city. The market, which is across the street is a must visit. Margarida is more than willing to help with suggestions on places to explore. Many thanks to her for sharing this little gem and for the treats!

We had a wonderful time at Três figos. The nature and surroundings are so beautiful and the garden is made with so much love and care. The house looks cute and it’s clean, the kitchen perfectly equipped and the bed extremely comfortable :) We went on some hikes in the area and beaches are also in reach within 25-30 minute drive. Perfect stay for a peaceful escape in nature for some days. I would love to come back!

This place was so much nicer than we even expected! The balcony view is so nice, the inside of the apartment is very spacious (it was me, my partner and our nearly 2 year old son) and the location was perfect, near the beach and beautiful parks and cafes. Claudio was an excellent host, we are so grateful for this stay. He also had left us with some food/drinks which was lovely! Highly recommend and will stay again when visiting 😊

Exceptional location in the heart of Sesimbra, overlooking the beach and turquoise waters, in the heart of old town with restaurants and shops. Carla went out of her way to meet me, to give instructions for underground parking, and to show me the apartment. The place is spotless and so cozy with everything needed for a terrific beach stay. Carla answered every question and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable; she sent driving instructions beforehand with a full overview about Sesimbra and the surrounding area. This is a special place: a sweet Portuguese apartment with tiled walls and lots of charm. I highly recommend this booking and definitely plan to be back!

Gorgeous villa with stunning views! We had a multigenerational family vacation here and everyone loved the place. All the rooms are larger that they look in photos. If you go in the spring, expect a mix of mostly stormy and some sunny days. In rainy days we focused on museums in Lisbon. Sunny days were stunning in the villa. So glad this beautiful home is preserved and enjoyed by many people!

We enjoyed our stay at Eduardo's place very much. The house was just as described in the AirBnb ad. The house is spacious for 10 persons, a well equipped kitchen. One can see that it is also used by the family wich we found very nice and personal, cosy. As it was so early in the season, the house was a bit humid after the winter, but there were radiators to take care of that. Not too far from the village Azetao but the surroundings were fantastic! The national park is so beautiful. The house was also very private and clean.

Very welcoming place, surrounded by nature, which provides a relaxing stay! From the reception to the room, everything was very organized and sanitized. Dinner was well served with the disposition of a fantastic team. We can't fail to mention the employee Erika for the helpful service she provided throughout the stay. Undoubtedly an experience to be repeated, since we left the place with great nostalgia.

We had such a wonderful time at Julia’s charming property. It’s the perfect antidote to boring hotels or bulk standard villas. The house has such character, with thick stone walls and beautiful antique furniture. The outdoor kitchen is perfect to prepare long leisurely lunches by the pool, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. If you want to unwind and relax almost immediately it’s the perfect hideaway from the modern world. Julia is a wonderful host; highly communicative and helpful, but very discreet and respectful of her guests’ privacy. Her docile, friendly dog, Liefje, is just gorgeous, but won’t bother you if you prefer that. We wanted to see her as much as possible! It was so hard to leave such a magical place.

We had a fantastic stay- a great house in a great location. Paula, the housekeeper, was super nice and helpful and the house had everything we wanted for our holiday (the outdoor kitchen area was particularly lovely). Easy access to some fantastic local restaurants and bars in town and a nice walk to the beach along the boardwalk. Comporta is great and would love to return again.

Maria’s house was perfect for our holiday. 15 mins into Grândola in one direction, 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Atentejo coast in the other, surrounded by the forest of cork oaks and stone pines it was idyllic. Maria is a wonderful host, super-friendly and helpful. The house and pool offer an idyllic retreat!

This house is something else, absolutely amazing. The Alentejo's regional decoration, the little details, the immaculate outside space, ping pong table, well maintained swimming pool and the fire pit, this place has it all. Hats off to the work that took to make this place so welcoming. Also a note to Edite's communication with us, helping us choosing the best route to get to the property, and suggesting local places to visit. She's been ace. The only downside is that we've only booked 2 days 😂. I'll definitely keep this one in my favourites 👌
