Fantastic stay with Joana in her beautiful and serene Airbnb. Highly, highly recommend, the photos don’t do the space justice. Every morning, Joana prepares a delicious breakfast for her guests. We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week at Ed's beautiful Cabanas. It is really well set up for a family and really has everything you could need (e.g. beach chairs, beach towels, buckets and spades) as well as a washing machine & dryer, which is very much appreciated when travelling with children! We stayed in May half term week and the weather was lovely and the heated pool excellent. It's a lovely peaceful area and the scenery is stunning (there is quite a bit of building going on in the region but it is generally well screened and there was nothing that disturbed the peace for us). The beaches are beautiful and close by. Eating out was easy and there were lots of options even though I think the season was just getting going - Ed gave us some great recommendations. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is extremely welcoming, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with all the items we needed to make us feel at home. The outdoor area and pool are fantastic and we were still surprised by a little welcome treat, which made all the difference. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Mafalda was a great host. The house is very well equipped with a well stocked kitchen with proper pans, and enough crockery and cutlery, working dishwasher and washing machine. I would recommend this property very highly. The pool was warm, the spec is high, and it feels luxurious and comfortable. We were there with 4 kids under 7, and it was a great set up for all of them.

François’ place was super relaxing and very comfortable. It was well situated for exploring Lisbon and surrounding area by car and only 20 minutes from the beach. It’s just like the pictures and he is a very responsive and helpful host. I strongly recommend as one of the best places I’ve stayed.

The apartment is complete and very clean. The pool is also clean. Only too bad that there are no sun loungers. There is a berth in the grass. For a stay for a city trip, it is definitely recommended. Within walking distance of the Belem neighborhood and by tram in 20 minutes in the city center. You will definitely not find such a nice apartment there. I will recommend the apartment to everyone.

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

Excellent apartment, host and location! From the time we booked Natasha was responsive and helpful. She left very clear instructions and lots of recommendations. The apartment was in a very nice area easily walkable to the center of the city in less than 10 minutes. There was a beautiful view of the castle from the patio and my children loved the pool which was very well maintained. It was very child friendly in general including toys, books, and kitchenware for children. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

Very cozy apartment. Spotlessly clean space with everything you needed. The contact was direct with D. Sidónia, who was very helpful, very attentive and very friendly. Very close to the beach, although with a baby, going by car is more comfortable since the apartment is in a higher area. Pool in very good condition, with sun loungers available and very calm. Quiet nights with no noise in the building.

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

This is a lovely well equipped 2 bed apartment in the Bairro do Rosario suburb of Cascais. Communication with the host was excellent and the garden and pool area are a real bonus. It is a 15 min walk to de Inferno and a good 35 min walk into the centre of Cascais. However there are bus stops close by to the apartment which have regular timetables. There are a number of lovely restaurants close by at Casa de Guia, and the Ophelia cafe on the next street is lovely for breakfast whilst the sacolinha bakery at the end of the street is excellent. The small supermarket at the end of the street is good for small amounts, the large Pingo Doce 5 mins walk away has a much larger selection. A very relaxing stay

Bernardo and Maria's place was a perfect getaway for ours girls trip. It was peaceful and spacious and we could get into the centre of Lisbon easily with Ubers. The pool was amazing and was a big highlight of our stay! Great sized rooms and bathrooms, lovely patio, really suitable for a group holiday, would highly recommend!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

A great escape from the city with the best view of Lisbon.

Nuno is a great host who is really proactive and helpful. The place is great for groups, especially the nice and open living room allowed us to really enjoy our time during our stay.

We loved this home!! It was the end of our two week adventure and it was a perfect way to relax before we headed home. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. The local grocery store had everything for us to cook at home. The store clerk also gave us a ride home after we realized we over bought to walk back home. We enjoyed the pool and peaceful atmosphere. We even walked the boardwalk one afternoon to Cascais. Bernardo and Maria were wonderful hosts. They responded to us and answered a few questions. We are planning to come back to this property!
