Huge apartment with amazing views over the sea and up to the moorish castle. Looked exactly like the photos. Lisa was so friendly and helpful when we met her and she also answered any queries almost immediately prior to our arrival. Would highly recommend to all

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Great stay in a nicely designed apartment with comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace is a very nice addition where we could catch some sun and have breakfast as the place itself is a bit dark but probably offers a cool retreat on hot summer days. The narrow staircase to the 2nd floor (bedroom) might be a challenge for people who are not very mobile or for carrying bigger luggage. All in all we had a great time at La Quinta and would highly recommed it for exploring the area as it is close to the train station.

Wir haben 8 Tage in dieser absolut tollen Wohnung verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten mit den Swimmingpool ist sehr schön angelegt. Durch die absolute Ruhe hatte der Urlaub für uns einen hohen Erholungsfaktor. Alles ist gut zu erreichen und man ist in ca. 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Lissabon. Maria ist eine außerordentlich nette Gastgeberin, die uns in allen Dingen sehr hilfreich zur Seite stand. Fazit: Besser geht es nicht - 5 Sterne in allen Beteichen - wir werden sehr gern wiederkommen!! Nochmals vielen Dank für alles an Maria! 🤗

Cozy and comfortable. This place was perfect for our needs. Anabela was a great host! Be prepared for some narrow streets in the neighborhood but we got used to them pretty quick. Be sure to walk around Penedo at sunset - beautiful!

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos’s place! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Carlos was a thoughtful and responsive host, and we especially appreciated the lovely fruit basket waiting for us when we arrived such a kind and welcoming touch. A great apartment for a wonderful stay in Carcavelos. Maria is a lovely person & great host. The apartment is in a perfect location, 2 minutes from the train station. Just a tip, if you're coming from Lisbon make sure you turn right out of the turn style and head out of the exit towards R Dr Marquès de Mata. If you turn left you come out by the bus stops. This way leads you down to the beach. There is a good supermarket just across the road from the apartment and cafe/coffee shops close by. The walk to the beautiful beach is only 15 mins along a tree lined path. Then you can walk along the front to the fort in about 20 mins. If you want to walk to Cascais, it's best to first catch the train to Sao Joao do Estoril. Then there is a path all along the seafront. I'd definitely invest in a navegante card & use the zapping feature. It's cheaper and allows so much flexibility with all transport. I can't wait to come back and would love to stay again in Maria's apartment!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir füllten uns wie zu Hause. Können wärmsteines die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Que local maravilhoso, que pessoas maravilhosas, que local e Localização maravilhosa. Silencio, tranquilidade, aconchegante. Dna Ricarda e sua Mãe Dna Jacinta. Ao lado tinha um almoço maravilhoso na Sociedade Recreativa, e lá conhecemos as gestoras do local, Ana e Sandra. Maravilhosas no atendimento e comida maravilhosa. Lembrei de minha avô pelas comidas que servia. Nota 1000.

Das Apartment war toll für zwei Personen. Es war einfach zu finden, und der Weg vom Bahnhof aus ist nur ein paar Minuten. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und friedvoll. Der Weg zum Strand sind 5 min und verläuft dann durch eine Unterführung. Der Strand ist ab dem Nachmittag leider etwas voll, am Vormittag ist man aber fast alleine dort. Sandra hat uns auch einen Sonnenschirm & Strandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt, dass war klasse. Die Fotos der Anzeige stimmen zu 100% mit der Unterkunft überein. Wir haben gut im Bett geschlafen. Der Garten (toller Blick von der Küche und dem Schlafzimmer aus) ist wunderschön!💚🪴🌴 Man kann sich hier zurückziehen und sehr gut in ruhiger Umgebung entspannen. Es ist herrlich. Sandra ist eine tolle, aufmerksame Gastgeberin und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Sehr schönes Haus und tolle Umgebung! Man kann hier wirklich zur Ruhe kommen und sich zurückziehen. Wir hatten viel Privatsphäre und konnten sogar später auschecken. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet und man kocht da gerne. Der Gemüsegarten, aus dem man noch frische Kräuter und Gemüse nehmen durfte zum kochen, war ebenfalls ein highlight. Petter ist ein toller Host und ich würde wiederkommen.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, just a short walk from the beach and nice restaurants, perfect for enjoying the sun and sea. The host was also very friendly and responsive, which made check-in and communication smooth. We had a lovely time overall and truly appreciated the peaceful setting and the proximity to the beach.

Der Aufenthalt in der Casa do Mar hat in jeder Hinsicht perfekt gepasst. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, zu Fuss nur wenige Minuten vom Strand, der Busstation den Restaurants und dem mercado entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben alles blitzsauber angetroffen. Im hübsche Garten kann man bestens verweilen und die Mahlzeiten einnehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Die Unterkunft war einfach wundervoll, super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Alles war blitzblank. Auch die Gastgeberin war herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ruhig, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar und perfekt zum Entspannen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

We had an amazing stay in Beloura, just a quick 10-minute drive from the main attractions in Sintra. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had plenty of room to spread out. One of the highlights was the patio, which opened right onto a walkway leading to the pool — perfect for relaxing. Bea was the perfect host — warm, thoughtful, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She genuinely cared about our comfort and made the whole experience feel effortless. The location was super convenient, with a great pizza and sushi spot nearby, plus a grocery store just around the corner. Only downside: the gym and sauna weren’t available — but everything else more than made up for it. Would absolutely stay again!
