This was a bargain! The description is exactly as described. I could not have asked for anything more. I miss watching the birds play in the morning in the backyard and have never been into birding until Filandia. Loved the town, the coffee. Marylena is beyond sweet. She gave me flowers for Women's Day, and gave the taxi driver cash when I incorrectly assummed he took credit card. Very safe, gated, I am a smaller solo female traveler and felt very comfortable taking the 10 minute walk into town.

The cabin was just what we were looking for for a few days of rest. There is a good internet connection, the environment is beautiful and there are several restaurants nearby and I was able to buy what we needed. Mauricio was attentive to any need the whole time.

I cannot recommend the Maranatha Grotto and Boutique Hotel highly enough. The Place is really nice and the location is ok the people at the reception super friendly and the communication with the host was easy Alejandro is very friendly and and always responding to my questions
