Cave vacation rentals in Santorini caldera

Everything the space was meant for it had. If you like to rent your own vehicle you can, but apon asking every taxi and transport was easy to do. Plenty to do on the island. Some very good restaurants and some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen in an ocean. Hope to be back soon to show my friends/family.

Can’t say enough for the way Dimitra greeted us, carried our bags walked us to her place. We are so grateful for the hospitality Dimitra showed us. Her special Air B n B we feel very lucky to have experienced, her much loved family home. Ce logement fait partie de mon top 3 des plus beaux airbnb que j'ai réservés. La vue était extraordinaire – les photos ne rendent pas justice à la beauté de cet endroit. L'appartement est décoré et aménagé avec soin ; les hôtes ont mis beaucoup d'attention et d'amour dans cet appartement. Savourer un verre de vin dans le jacuzzi tout en admirant la vue sur Oia, la mer et les dommes Bleu en face de nos yeux vaut chaque dollar dépensé. Je tiens à souligner le service exceptionnel fourni par Maria et son équipe. Elle s’est occupée de notre transport du port à notre arrivée et de notre transfert vers l’aéroport. PS :Dans la rue menant vers la villa, de nombreux touristes font la queu pour prendre des photos. C'est un peu dérangeant quand vous voulez rentrer chez vous. Certains vont même jusqu'à se montrer désagréables, et ne respectent pas la petite corde les empêchant de decendre plus bas. Mais cela dit, ce problème est généralisé partout à Oia qui est victime du tourisme de masse.

This host made us feel like family. The home was spotless and absolutely adorable. The view is amazing and so were the hosts. Could not asked for a better place to stay.

You will not find luxury here but very rustic comfort. The poet’s cave is very aptly named, it’s a place full of rustic beauty and charm that offers a glimpse into the life of fisherfolks of old. Being directly on the caldera, the view from every windows is just breathtaking not to mention from the terrace or the little sun lounge area on the roof (almost dizzying as you feel suspended over the sea). Maybe the best part is that it offers a little oasis away from the overwhelming crowds higher up in the village because tourists don’t come down unless they have lodging here.

We can't say enough about this very charming place! The stay here was perfect! Very well appointed apartment with everything you need. Great location to restaurants, bus stations, wineries and all the sites of the area. Great hiking from Fira to Oia, be sure to do that. You will truly not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Nikos place! 5 Star indeed.

We had such a wonderful time in Santorini thanks to this Airbnb! The home is in an extremely convenient location, just a brief walk away from numerous restaurants and the main attractions in Oia. Ioanna was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to our arrival, and helped organize transportation to/from the airport. We also had help carrying all of our luggage, as the home is located up a little bit of a hill - this was especially helpful for my parents. The home was clean, everything just as advertised. And there was a breakfast served each morning which was incredible to enjoy looking out at the beautiful views of the caldera. Even when our flight home was at 6am, Ioanna and Anna had organized for us to have food delivered the night before for our travels. Incredible service, and a beautiful place to stay on the island.

Chris/Olsi were great hosts, welcomed us personally and allowed us to drop our bags before checking which was super helpful. Great location, quiet with a nice view of the sea. Quick walking distance to Oia, about 15-20 min walk. Nice few restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The place was immaculate and Olsi even offered to service the place on our second day which was really nice! Would definitely come back again!

Nuestra experiencia en el alojamiento fue excelente! Desde el momento en que llegamos, el trato fue excepcional; Nikolas fue siempre atento y estuvo dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo. El desayuno fue una grata sorpresa: delicioso y perfectamente servido, una manera genial de empezar el día. Todos en nuestro grupo quedamos muy felices y agradecidos por la hospitalida. Sin duda, un lugar al que esperamos volver. ¡Gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia algo tan especial!

Wonderful stay in a wonderful village

Sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, dem es sehr wichtig ist, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen und alle Informationen haben für einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist toll um die Insel in alle Himmelsrichtungen zu erkunden.

Vassilis was the perfect host. He arranged for transportation to his house and walked us there helping us with our baggage. He provided so many great recommendations and even delivered a walking map we requested. The village is so quaint and charming. We ate at our favorite restaurant of the trip, Krinaki Taverna, 2 almost 3 times over our 3 days in Finikia. All the appeal of Oia within a walkable distance to get away from the crowds. Also, it should be noted that I slept like a baby. There's some magic tranquility in that cave. :) Ευχαριστώ και πάλι Βασίλη!

She accepted our request at last minutes And everything was perfect expect toilet seat was not clean but rest everything was perfect and we had no issue there was no electricity from 9am -10:30 am and then at 11 am checkout time electricity again turned off so make sure to pack your stuff exactly before check out time

This hotel was amazing. The rooms look nice online but are even better in person and each room has a beautiful view. It's small enough that the staff knows guests by name and is able to provide suggestions when needed. During check-in, the staff was kind enough to help arrange multiple dinner reservations and set up a car rental, which all worked out wonderfully. Additionally, we stayed in two separate rooms that they had due to a late booking by me and the staff was kind enough to move bags from one room to the next for us while we were out on an excursion during the day on the day that we switched rooms. While Oia or Thira may seem like the top locations to stay in Santorini, from our experience we would stay in no other location than Imerovigli. It's close enough to access the larger cities easily while still being far enough off of the beaten path to feel a little less hectic all while having great dining options nearby. Also, the breakfast served in the cafe/bar attached to the hotel made for a great way to start each day as the food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. All in all, the hotel was in a beautiful location, the rooms vastly exceeded our expectations, and the whole experience was topped off by a kind and welcoming staff who went over the top to make our stay pleasantly memorable. I would recommend staying with Christos and Marios to anyone who is traveling to Santorini.

Logement correspondant à l'annonce. La maison est en open-space intégral, y compris les chambres. Très bien situé dans le village de Megalochori au centre de l'île. Très calme en ce début de saison. Boulangerie très bonne à 2 min à pied proposant également des plats chauds. Places de parking pour garer en sécurité la voiture de location. Restaurants dans le village mais pas encore ouverts début avril, sauf le Kafeineo à 100 m plus bas, très bon accueil. Pour ceux qui voudraient cuisiner sur place, les ustensiles sont assez limités. Très bonne réactivité et disponibilité de Vasia lors de nos échanges qui est à l'écoute de nos attentes. Merci à elle.

Good space, close to shops, beautiful views, cool courtyard and outdoor spaces. The kitchen set up is minimal but all we wanted was to make coffee in the morning and drink wine in the evening so we had what we needed. We used the driver recommended by the host to get our party to and from the airport- super reliable and friendly. We loved our laid back time in Santorini❤️

Vasia was incredibly helpful, I booked a month wrong, so turned up a month earlier, and she fixed that problem for me, and quickly got the house ready <3 The house is super warm despite it being January, never needed the heating on, the yard is huge, and the village lovely for walks .. its january, so not much is open, but in the spring, summer and autumn, the village is buzzing with very nice restaurants and just around the corner from here, is a small cafe that is open all day normally, plus there is a big bakery just a few hundreds meters from here, thats always open, all year. Highly recommend this place, and I will be back for sure <3

Chris and Ida provided us an amazing stay for a weekend. The place was perfect, exactly how it is advertised and met our expectations and then some. Ida was very helpful in telling us the bus schedule and recommending things for us to do and was very nice. Overall an amazing stay and we would come back again just to stay there!
