Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

Tivemos uma excelente experiência durante a nossa estadia. Um espaço muito tranquilo ( só tivemos a companhia das cabras e ovelhas ☺️), o nosso patudo andou livremente e seguimos a sugestão do Daniel para irmos ao lindo riacho perto da casa. Não deixo de mencionar que o Daniel foi muito simpático e prestável durante a nossa estadia. Resumindo, recomendo vivamente para quem quer fugir da agitação da cidade. Um sítio a regressar ☺️

My husband and I needed a break in the country side and James place was perfect. James gave us some great tips for the area.His house and farm are very big and beautiful and we had a very relaxing few days. The little town of villa de rei is only 10 min away. Great bush-walks with lovely cool waterfalls and places to swim are near by.Definitely can recommend James place to anyone.We hope to come back one day.

The house is perfectly located on the beautiful Serra D'Ossa with lots of things to do on the surroundings. The host was very friendly and responsive and the house has pristine.

A propriedade é simplesmente incrível, está no meu top 5 de todos os lugares onde já fiquei! Tem tudo o que é necessário, seja para uma estadia pequena ou mais prolongada. O anfitrião, João, foi extremamente atencioso e sempre muito rápido a responder. Por um lapso, deixámos algumas coisas para trás, mas o João tratou de as enviar rapidamente pelo correio, o que foi uma grande ajuda. Foi uma experiência fantástica e sem dúvida que voltaremos em breve. Recomendo vivamente!

Every corner of Florbela’s property radiates peace, beauty, and care. And Florbela herself? An absolute gem. Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Great location, convenient and comfortable

Paula doet er echt alles aan om het je zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Wat een lieve, aardige vrouw en wat een fijn huis is het. We waren er in een nogal natte periode en in huis was het koud. Maar er was genoeg hout voor de kachel en ze kwam ons nog electrische kacheltjes brengen voor in de slaapkamers. We kwamen ook pas om 00:30 aan 's nachts en dat hadden we gecommuniceerd dus waren er verse eitjes en broodjes in huis voor in de ochtend want het dorpje lag nogal afgelegen (wat juist voor de rust heerlijk is). Maar we leerden ook dat er een bakker 's nachts langs kwam en dat je een tasje met een briefje erin kon doen en dat had je 's ochtends vers brood! Ik kan nog zoveel vertellen maar je moet het zelf maar gaan ervaren. Hoe dan ook: Paula is een topper!!

Ficámos na “muralha”. É uma casa pequena mas espetacular, dentro de uma das zona mais pacatas e recatadas do castelo. Tem um pátio murado, o que para nós era uma mais valia já que levávamos também o nosso patudo. Aliás, ALs que aceitam animais são sempre de parabenizar pois pecam pela escassez. A casa fica numa zona onde é complicado ir de carro (apesar de ser possível mas as ruas são demasiado estreitas) e o Sr Luís foi muito prestável a levar-nos (a nós, às malas e ao nosso cão) até à casa no check in, o que foi uma grande ajuda. Mesmo assim o acesso à pé é rápido. Recomendamos.

A estadia foi perfeita! A herdade dos cordeiros estava muito bem localizada num sítio calmo e fora do stress, o espaço super limpo e confortável, exatamente como nas fotos. A localização excelente e o anfitrião muito atencioso. Sem dúvida, uma das melhores experiências no Airbnb – recomendo 100%

James en zijn vrouw hebben een prachtig verblijf omringd door natuur. We hebben ons hier goed kunnen vermaken. We zijn hier met open armen ontvangen en hun gastvrijheid is er een die we nog nooit eerder bij een andere airbnb hebben ervaren. We zouden dit verblijf aan iedereen aanraden die opzoek is naar een fijn, rustig en mooi verblijf in Portugal. In de omgeving zijn verschillende interessante dorpjes en historische plaatsen als Marvão en Évora zijn goed bereikbaar voor een dagtrip. Het was een echte topervaring en zeker het boeken waard!

This place is amazing, the views are incredible, unfortunately the weather didn't allow is make use the pool whilst we were there but even without this we had 3 lovely relaxing nights here. Eric is friendly and helpful and we loved the visits from the dogs as we were missing our own at home. Casa zen is perfect for relaxing and winding down, the accommodation is spotless and the location is beautiful

I really liked my stay at this AirBnB. It was exactly as described, and check-in and check-out were easy and very well communicated. The place was very clean and overall, a great stay. Thank you.

Es una maravilla de sitio, tanto por el lugar como por los anfitriones. Aunque hemos estado poquito tiempo nos hemos sentido como en casa. Repetiremos seguro! :)

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Nos atendió Pepi y fue súper amable y simpática. Nos dió sábanas, nos preguntó incluso si preferíamos otro apartamento para que estuviéramos más cómodos. Nos trajo leña y nos recomendó lugares para ver en Alburquerque, cenar y desayunar. Totalmente recomendable ir a desayunar al Rodeo que está justo al lado.

Helen&Chris are lovely people. They gave our family a very warm welcome. We felt at home. Very neat and clean. The garden, pool and orangery are all spectacular. We loved spending our evenings at the taras or playing in the pool. Helen and Chris were very helpful with all instructions and sites or restaurants to visit. When we needed help they were very easy to communicate to. Highly recommend to visit Helen's & Chris's Orangery ☺️

Estava tudo impecável, tudo muito arrumado, estava um pouco com pó na sala, mas nada de mais , o que podem melhorar é o quarto que tem uma cama de casal e o beliche meter um ar condicionado, porque não se conseguiu dormir no quarto com o calor que estava. De resto gostamos da estadia, tínhamos duas crianças , e foi-lhes dado comida para alimentar os patos e galinhas que o alojamento tinha! Muito bom!

What a wonderful stay we had at Sonia and Rui’s house. It was very well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were both very responsive, helpful and friendly. The area is very quiet with nice neighbours. There are 2 balconies with a lovely view of the lake, a barbecue, and the house itself is very spacious. The village shop is a short car journey, which is well stocked. We travelled mostly to Tomar (approximately 20 mins by car) where there are a fantastic range of larger supermarkets and restaurants. The direct water access was absolutely fantastic for us, and we spent most of our time on the water/at the lake. The launch itself is a short drive away, but not an issue to get to. The access to the lake is fairly steep, but walkable/accessible. Our 3 year old managed this fine, and couldn’t wait to go swimming in the lake everyday. There is also a shared condominium pool, and was quiet during our stay. We were sad to leave, but will be back!
