Casa do Trovador exceeded expectations. We already expected a spacious house with several highlights. But on arrival, we found that the pictures do not do justice in sight and the location. With several leisure spaces, even with less favourable time, it was a very pleasant stay. Communication was impeccable at all times. I highly recommend it for groups and families who want to spend time together where there is no lack of space!

A magical place, breathtaking views, we loved our stay. A unique experience!!! The cabin is very well-equipped and very comfortable. Sophie was kind enough to provide us with baby equipment that contributed to the quality of our stay. We had a breakdown with our rental car, Sophie was very helpful, very responsive, a huge thank you to her. We highly recommend!!!!!!!

This is a beautiful location, pastoral one might say, with views of the village and surrounding farms. Warm greetings from the host who showed us an around the place and gave an excellent recommendation for dinner that evening. The breakfast that they provided was also top notch! If you have a large group and have a few days to relax, this a great place to stay. Close to Fátima, Tomar, and other tourist hot spots in the area.

This is an excellent choice if you're looking for a quiet place at the countryside. The house is a 10 minutes drive from the pleasant town Melides (bumpy dirt road ride included), with a (small) market and a number of nice restaurants. The beach is a 20 minute drive away. The house was extremely clean when we arrived, and Marta arranged a baby bed and chair for our daughter. The queensize bed is amazing, as well as the huge veranda, with a hammock and some nice lounge beds and a big table. They are building a house close by, but it didn't bother us and the building should be over in some months anyway.

The house has all the amenities and much more than those described in the listing. Unfortunately, we got one of the rainy days, but the accommodation didn't lose its charm. The peace is unparalleled and the outdoors is amazing! We were able to have some meals on the street and it was really delicious. I couldn't fail to point out the decoration of the house, which mixes modern elements with older ones and makes us feel at home. We had a setback and the owner was very helpful and helped us quickly. I highly recommend visiting the house of the hat!

What a lovely place to stay. Spotless, quiet, comfortable and so welcoming. Cool evening when we arrived and we enjoyed the lovely stove with unlimited wood. Lots of little walks around. Excellent host. Welcoming milk, butter, bread and eggs. Unlimited coffees and teas. And to top it all, a jar of Joãs’s very own delicious honey. A real retreat. Thank you!

Quiet, spacious and pleasant space, the Jacuzzi in winter is an added value

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

There are no words to describe this paradise. Starting with Edite and Hernâni, who were extremely attentive and always concerned with us, every corner of the house and all the outdoor space that reflects the affection, good taste and love with which they were designed and built. We felt at home away from home, we felt like we were returning to a home we didn't know until then. Upon arrival, a fresh lemonade and a jar of honey from Edite's bees awaited us. During our stay, we were not only presented with homemade eggs, but also with extreme care so that we didn't lack anything during the blackout. There was no better place than this corner to spend this day, where we barely noticed the lack of light and dined in the garden under the stars and candlelight. We will certainly return many times to this hidden paradise in the middle of our Portugal. Thank you for everything, Edite and Hernâni.
