Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Sant'Alessio Siculo

Emilie and Alberto have the perfect spot in Castelmola. You can't beat the view and it's so incredibly easy to access. Alberto grew up in Castelmola and has all of the great recommendations. My mom and I rented the bottom and top floors, making it a perfect stay with plenty of space! Parking is incredibly easy. The beds are also comfortable, which is so important. I'll definitely be back!

Virkeligt dejligt sted, hvor man hurtigt føler sig hjemme. Huset ligger med udsigt til Francesco og hans brors vindrue- og oliventræer med fred og ro. Dejligt køkken og opholdsrum, og Francesco var meget imødekommende. Vores to små døtre elskede at være her :)

A really beautiful and confortable home with a lovely hostess! Laura's home is beautifully decorated with an amazing scented garden with a view. Perfectly situated in the old Taormina, 20 meters from Porta Catania to which you enter the main street, Corso Umberto, full of shops, restaurants, and many churches to visit. A very pleasant walk in the morning when not too busy to discover the beautiful architecture of the town, stop off for breakfast then visit the Teatro Antico. The view is fabulous. If you walk to the end of Corso Umberto just after Porta Messina, take the cable car down and visit the small Mazzaro beach. Have an expensive but worthwhile drink at the Villa Sant'Andrea hotel, stunning and lovely staff. On Laura's suggestion and help for the reservation, we had a wonderful diner at Casa Niclodi, a must! We can't wait to return and visit more the surroundings, but Laura's home is hard to leave! Thank you Laura for your very warm welcome, you really made us feel at home.

We would recommend Francesco's place! The location was great! Few minutes walk away from the town, bus stops within 5-10 minute walk. Be prepared for about 5 flights of stairs to get to the Airbnb. It was a workout but still very worth it. It was a very quiet location where we felt very safe (3 early 20's women). The place seemed very old, so could feel a little damp inside but thankfully had two ACs on each floor that also acted as heaters so we were always at a comfortable temperature. The place had lots of amenities, the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed.

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Francesco's Airbnb in Giarre, a charming and friendly town. We chose this property because it's completely walkable, and it's one of the few places on the Catania side of Sicily that could comfortably accommodate our family without needing a car. The apartment itself is simply stunning—spacious and located in an incredible building. Francesco has truly thought of everything; there’s not a thing missing. The highlight for us was the beautiful pool house, which includes showers, a fridge, and a TV. The pool and bar area were perfect for relaxing. Francesco and his partner are incredibly warm and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They arranged our airport transfers and even surprised us with the most delicious croissants we've ever had! Their kindness and hospitality really made our trip special. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Ein kleines Paradies auf Sizilien! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung in Naxos sehr genossen. Die große Küche bildet das Herz der Wohnung, und die Sonnenterrasse war unser Lieblingsplatz – besonders beim Frühstück in der warmen Novembersonne mit Blick auf die Orangenplantage. Perfekt, um abzuschalten! Taormina, der imposante Ätna und das Meer mit langen Stränden sind schnell erreichbar und laden zu Ausflügen ein. Mathilde und Nicolò sind großartige Gastgeber: stets erreichbar, herzlich und voller Tipps. Auf Anfrage gab es sogar frische Orangen und hervorragendes Olivenöl – ein Highlight! Die Wände zur Nachbarwohnung könnten je nach Lautstärke der Nachbarn etwas dünn wirken, doch das tat unserem Aufenthalt keinen Abbruch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder – ein Muss für Naturliebhaber und Genießer! Vielen Dank nochmal von Herzen für diesen wundervollen und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bei Euch! Vincenzo's property is a really great and quiet place where you can base yoyrself to visit this part of Sicily. Taormina us really close as is Catania ! Vincenzo is super friendly and offered to help us as much as we wanted of the lemons and oranges that grow on his land. Nice shot of vitamin c in the morning.

The location is incredible and only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and the views from the terraces are stunning. Laura was also super helpful and able to give us restaurant recommendations and make reservations. Also have access to a shared pool/hot tub weather permitting as well as a washer. Only thing that could make be improved is the shower as it’s pretty small, but overall would love to stay here again and would strongly recommend for anyone traveling on the Sicilian coast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Francesca's apartment in Taormina. Beautiful apartment short walk from the centre of town and many restaurants and history of the town. Parking was 10 metres away and the view from the terrace was so good it is hard to describe. Loved it and our host was very responsive and helpful.

Giuseppe was one of the most kindest & most helpful hosts I’ve ever met. He was there for us from our initial booking up until when we checked out. He was flexible with us checking in & departing which really helped us with our travel plans. He took time out of his busy schedule to meet us at the apartment which made it easier for us. The property has parking & is on the 4th floor & has a lift which we used on several occasions. When using the lift we met some of the neighbours who were lovely & very friendly. The apt itself is very big & some rooms are locked (no problem) & we still had the choice of using 2 of the bedrooms. The balcony was also spacious & we could see Mount Etna in the background whilst drinking a glass of wine in the sun. We stayed in Central Catania at the beginning of our trip & as this property was a 20 min walk away it was still great as we explored different places. There is a Metro nearby along with cafes, supermarkets & local restaurants which we used.

Francesco is a great host. He couldn’t have been more accommodating and responsive. He even let us check in early. It was lovely to meet him on arrival and hear about the house, its history and family connection. Not your usual Airbnb. The views from the bedrooms and large terrace are fabulous and we took the steps down to the centre of Taormina. The flat is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We highly recommend Francesco’s place and would come back any time.

Very close to the RcD Centrale (train station), many food stores, bakeries, food/veggie shops around. Apartment is very spacious, has renoved bathroom and is located on ground floor (but no worries, it feels very safe, there is only 1 window overlooking the street). Tiziana replies in, literally, minutes, so there was no communication issues. The only thing I would recommend to be prepared for is quite old kitchen cutlery + some other kitchen equipments like chopping board, glasses, bowls etc. Overall - very nice place for stay in Reggio di Calabria :)

Dorotea was super welcoming. The apartment is perfect for a stay in Taormina, the view from the terrace is astonishing. Getting to the historic city center via bus is easy as the bus stop is just around the corner.

Le studio est très bien agencé et la terrasse est très agréable. La communication est très facile avec Arturo et Tatjana qui ont été très sympathiques.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse und der Ausblick ein Traum. Angelo hat sich schnell und gut gekümmert und auch einen sehr freundlichen Fahrer für den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert. Auf dem Europaplatz vor dem Haus ist auch Nachts einiges los, aber dank der Höhe der Wohnung ist das nicht störend. Die Nahverkehrsanbindung ist dank des Bahnhofs „Europa“ und AMTS-Bussen (die allerdings hin und wieder einfach vor dem Eintreffen an der Haltestelle - obwohl angekündigt - verschwinden und man so deutlich länger warten muss) gut. Auch eine U-Bahn Station ist in der Nähe. Um Catania kennen zu lernen muss man also kein Auto ausleihen. Einen Tipp von dem netten Transfer-Fahrer geben wir gerne weiter. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (also ganz in der Nähe). Unbedingt hingehen: Ein Törtchen-Genussparadies!

Der Check-In erfolgte problemlos nach vorheriger Absprache. Salvatore hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles gut erklärt. Er ist sehr freundlich und immer leicht zu erreichen. Obwohl die Gastgeber gleich nebenan wohnen, ist die Privatsphäre zu jeder Zeit gegeben. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig, die Küche bestens ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Villa an sich ist traumhaft schön. Auf der Terrasse ist man von zahlreichen mediterranen Kübelpflanzen umgeben und hat einen direkten Blick aufs Meer. Obwohl sich zahlreiche Restaurants, Cafés und Bars in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden, haben wir am liebsten auf „unserer“ Terrasse gesessen und die Abendstimmung genossen. Nach Tages- Ausflügen ist es außerdem sehr angenehm, sich am „Privatstrand“ zu entspannen und ein Bad im Meer zu nehmen. Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm, Luftmatratze, alles ist vorhanden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Salvatore!

They came and found us when we got a little lost, trying to find the place. That was outstanding by itself. The location is just as described by others. Absolutely beautiful. Very easy to walk to all the main attractions and shopping. Full kitchen made it easy to save a little money on breakfast and such. Rocca answered all questions easily. Highly recommend!

Casa Lionessa, the location and the communication with Chiara was above my expectations. The view from of the bay and Mt Etna from the sunny terrace both day and night was spectacular and being across the road from the gorgeous park and moments from restaurants, bars and the Bam Bar made this an ideal romantic holiday location. The support I received from Chiara when my lugguage was lost by the airline was amazing. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
