Zattere English Cottage close to Guggenheim

This apartment looks like an English cottage is in the middle of the historic center but sheltered from the crowd: the previous owners were two English University professors who loved Venice and came here to write. When we saw it it seemed simply perfect for just 3 nights or a longer stay: the kitchen is equipped with everything, the living area is comfortable and with a real fireplace, the bedroom is very large and the large bathroom is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day!

An outdoor courtyard is presented with cozy seating arrangements consisting of two armchairs and a sofa. Two large planters with decorative greenery are positioned at both ends. The stone walls add a rustic charm, while lanterns provide subtle illumination in the evening.

It is located in Giudecca Zitelle, very close to the Zitelle Church and within few steps from the Giudecca Canal with a view of St. Mark's Square. The furniture is new, essential, modern with few touches of color. The entrance takes place with a code which allows to open a small box in which the keys to open the front door are placed.

What a great apartment in a great location! Although only a few moments away from Piazza San Marco, the apartment is located in a quiet side street, so no problem with outside noise. The apartment is beautifully decorated and everything you need for your stay is provided. The welcome from Daniela was really friendly and she was helpful throughout, including flexibility on leaving. When we come back to Venice we’ll definitely be checking for availability with Daniela!

Super location and responsiveness from the host. The unit was very close to the Gallo Loredan bus stop to access Lido and the Vaporetto port on Lido to travel to Venice easily. The beach is only a short walk away. There is great AC located in each of the bedrooms.

Had a wonderful week at Alessandra's apartment. Roof terrace was great. Beautifully maintained apartment, clean and equipped with every comfort, even a bathrobe! Location of the apartment is close to the boat connection Palanca. From there, you can be in Venice and the locations of the Biennale in no time.

We have an excellent stay in this property it is in a quiet neighborhood but with very quick access to local restaurants and attractions (including the Peggy Guggenheim) and easy access to the water bus. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Venezia.

Very peaceful place, far from any tourist traffic. Very high standards in amenities. Difficult to think about any missing items in the toiletries and the kitchen, including cloth napkins, numerous towels, mosquito-repellent lotion (the apartment is very close to water), a comfortable mattress, and perfumed soaps. Even two different types of pillows. The Coop supermarket (5 min.) caters to daily needs, so there’s no need to store much in the kitchen. Overall, a great relaxing stay in optimal conditions.
