Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Santa Maria del Focallo

We had a nice few days enjoying the quiet beach and the sunsets.

It was just wonderful at Charlie's in the country. He really made a little paradise. In the morning we enjoyed our breakfast in the sun behind the house in our own garden. During the day, cozy reading in the hammock or excursions in the area, e.g. to the sea. Scicli, the town close by, is enchanting. The water from the pipe is drinkable, the kitchen is well furnished if you wanted to cook. Charlie even brought us organic vegetables from his own garden. The house is freestanding and you feel "alone" in the best sense. Inside the house, as well as in the fire pit in front of the house, you can make a fire. The house is beautifully decorated. You can hear the dogs from the neighboring property, but that did not bother us. We were also allowed to use the sauna - it was a dream.

This house is simply fantastic! The location of the house right on the hill overlooking Vizzini is great! The house itself is gorgeous and absolutely superbly equipped with stylish furnishings, everything is very clean and in particular there is a huge fitted kitchen. The whole place looks MUCH better in real life than in the photos. Marion is a great hostess and was always very helpful and able to give advice. This place can only be recommended!

A group of 15 adults stayed at Oriana’s brilliant villa. It’s the perfect place for a group to spend their time in Sicily, the kitchen has all you need, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms and a large pool. Oriana was really responsive & happy to help in any way she could, including organising transfers to and from a winery & in and out of Scicli, the local town, when we didn’t want to drive. To note when planning your trip here, you aren’t within walking distance of any amenities or the beach, you will need hire cars. Can’t recommend this villa enough.

A beautiful villa in a great location and Francesco was really helpful and accommodating. Just be wary of the stairs if you have young children!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

This is a lovely house! So clean and comfortable. The host greated us and was so warm and friendly. It’s on a very beautiful street so just looking out of the front door was inviting and within seconds you can be lost in a labyrinth of beautiful twists and turns. The only downside was the local use of motorbikes which would zoom right passed the door which were incredibly noisy but you’d likely get that anywhere in Ortigia. Perfect stay would choose again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very beautiful apartment and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The garden was amazing with a nice view of the church and we enjoyed our time outside. Lorenzo was very helpful and gave us great instructions and local recommendations. The beds were super comfortable too. The location was great for walking into town and we walked everywhere. Lots of convenient parking nearby on the main road. A superb Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay at Massimo & Danila’s house, which is an architectural gem filled with beautiful details and personal touches. Even in the winter time it was very warm and the fireplace added to the feeling of comfort. We loved the peace and quiet that the house radiates, as well as the surrounding sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Thank you for making our stay so magical & we hope to return.

Gisella’s place was amazing and so perfect for our two families to share time together. It was exactly as described and the location allowed for lovely walks around the island with our two little ones. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy her apartment and the island again, hopefully soon!

Our hosts went above and beyond throughout our whole stay. They were always on hand to offer suggestions or help us out if needed. Waking up to that view of the coast was incredible. We will miss this most! The location was excellent, with amazing restaurants in Marzamemi, and a beautiful sandy coastline. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Roberta's apartment. The location is ideal, the view breathtaking and has made our view unforgettable. The apartment itself was superbly equipped. The kitchen left nothing to be desired (portafilter!) and the decor was modern and tasteful. Everything was clean and well maintained, so we immediately felt right at home. We particularly liked the comfortable mattresses, which ensured a good night's sleep. Communication with Roberta and Raffaele was also great! Their tips made our stay perfect.

One of the best places we have been.. The villa is super cozy and you feel right at home! Also, Federico is a great host, he was always responsive and helpful, and gave us useful recommendations on the dining and things to do in the area. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I stayed for 7 days. A truly unique place with every detail. You have a lot of space to enjoy the after sea and you can also enjoy the pool that is cleaned every day. The garden speaks for itself... and the house has all the necessary amenities and accessories. Great for families! Nearby sea! Also a great location because if in the middle of all the cities to visit such as Modica-Noto-Siracusa, etc. Sofia and her husband are people to take as an example, elegant, fit and cheerful. Ask them for tips for anything, especially for restaurants, rotisseries, ice cream parlors, and places to visit. I can't wait to come back as I love the place and Sicily!

really nice place with a view! we liked the interior, modern and not overloaded. the bed was also very cosy :) Giosuè always replied immediately and was very friendly. we enjoyed our stay, probably the best we had in Sicily. highly recommend!

Manuela's house is very nice and spacious, the garden is very well maintained and our little dog also enjoyed it so much, the veranda is a beautiful space, the pool, although small, is useful for cooling off at any time, the sea is also really just a short walk from the house! Manuela's hospitality and attention to guests, however, is worth even more than just accommodation. From the large tray of fresh fruit with which she welcomed us, to all the necessities for breakfast, games and colors for children, equipment for the sea, she made sure we had everything we needed. In addition, both she and her father were very ready to help us with any request or concern in a very short time. We'll be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Sabrina’s lovely, comfortable house with its green, spacious garden. It was really decorated with love and attention and we felt incredibly at home. Simply a wonderful holiday house. We were there in low season so the surroundings were quiet. Something we liked but meant we had to take the car if we wanted to go out for dinner. Lovely stay, highly recommended!

What an incredible place! Communication was excellent and upon arrival we were greeted by Carmelo who explained everything we needed to know about the property. The house itself is stunning, we enjoyed the swimming pool, ping pong, table football and all of the games! The house is very well equipped with most things you would possibly need which made everything so much easier Location was great and everything accessible by car, complete with STUNNING views from each balcony! All very good. The house is awesome to have a nice time. A lot of turnaround. Very good for children. I liked the large outdoor kitchen the most. The proximity to Fonte Biance beach is also brilliant. All in all, you can spend perfect holidays in this house.

If you want someplace really special. You have found it at Villa Cammarana. Close to Ragusa but far away from everything. The best time is sitting with a home made pasta dinner on the terrace drinking local Sicilian wine while the sun casts it's light over the beautiful pastoral view with glimpses to the sea. The house itself is very comfortable and inviting. The beds were most comfortable. The rooms are all spacious and the gathering living dining area is super. The main bedroom has its own fireplace which was wonderful for the cool evenings. Family history is eveident everywhere and lends an old world charm to the place that is completely unique. Our hosts were super responsive and sent us many suggestions for exploring and dining in the area. Response to our queries was very quick. Day trips to Ragusa, and elsewhere in the area are a bonus. We completely enjoyed our stay here. The Villa a highlight of our month long trip in Sicily. You do need a car, but...Reserve it if you can!

Stunning villa, spacius inside and outside, huge porch with comfortable sofa and tv, private pool with deckchairs for sunbathing. Walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the shop. Perfect fit for 6 people, with lots of kitchen amenities and various glasses to enjoy wine or other sicilian spirits and delicacies.

Great location with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time with family or friends. Hosts are very attentive and help with everything. Highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! If you’re considering having a wedding here—10/10, highly recommend. Everything was stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures. Ignazio was a fantastic host, providing great recommendations. We tried a restaurant he suggested, and it was amazing. He also recommended a caterer who went above and beyond—everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The venue itself was perfect. Lovely place, wonderful experience—stay here!
