Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santa Maria

Beautiful and very spacious apartment on a large resort. For us a good choice, use of the facilities of the resort but for the beach and good food to Santa Maria. Staff at the resort is very friendly. The back part (Tui) where the apartment is is fine, the rest of it does need renovation. Apartment is very clean, an extensive kitchen with everything you need and a nice bed. Communication was quick and smooth.

Great host and even better stay. Joao was very attentive and his place with two huge balconies and 3 big bedrooms was great. My guests were hesitant to stay in Espargos because Santa Maria is where is supposedly hip but I highly recommend Joao’s apartment in the heart of Esparagos. The local restaurants Joao recommended were also a great addition to our trip. Will definitely stay longer when I return to Sal.

We stayed at Richard's place for 3 days and were very satisfied. Everything is available. The beach nearby we had all to ourselves. We arranged our trip to the Salinas and sharks via Richard and made another unexpected stop to eat murene. Richard responded quickly to messages and was very nice. Murdeira is very quiet and a nice change to santa maria. Thanks for the farewell drink!

Thanks to Yvonne for hosting us at her place. Communication was perfect thanks to an on-site correspondent. The apartment matches the photos and the value for money is great! The residence is a little empty but at least it's quiet. 😊 Perfect for a quiet vacation near the sea! (Note: I recommend the massages at Vila Verde)

The accommodation was a great fit for us. The villa is very well decorated and generously sized. Having a rental car was an advantage for us. Wayne and his deputy José are thoughtful and committed hosts.

we've just come home from a fabulous family holiday at Agnes beautiful front line villa. We all felt very comfortable in the villa home from home. Kitchen is very well equipped and had a washer and dishwasher which was an added bonus, beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have 6 sunbeds all to ourselves! It was very busy around the communal pool. Air conditioning was essential and worked well as did the wifi Agnes also provided fans and organised a taxi for us and we were able to have a late check out which was very much appreciated. Taxis are readily available at the hotel into Santa Maria. Two lovely bars are bar Marley and Bikini Beach fabulous food although was a little noisy on Saturday night. All in all a fabulous time was had on Sal lots of amazing experiences for our grandson Joey thank you Agnes for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment with a beautiful location right by the beach. The veranda was a real highlight, offering a great view of the lush garden, the pool, and the sea. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it. Nina was a fantastic host – very welcoming and easy to communicate with.

A fabulous apartment, small complex with pool and direct beach access - just as described. Peter was a great host - met us on arrival and gave lots of helpful local tips. The apartment was spotless, very comfy bed, and had everything we needed for our stay. Really recommend it and Santa Maria is beautiful! Thank you 🤩

One of the best views ever. And the sound of the ocean right out the front door is so peaceful. A 2 minute walk to a restaurant. Or a 3 minute walk. Or a 4 minute walk. Or a string of restaurants during your 30 minute walk. I could easily spend more time on the upper veranda, watching the waves come in. My wife slept upstairs in a comfortable bed while I slept downstairs in one of another pair of comfortable beds. I chose downstairs because I have a bad knee and I found the stairs to the upper bedroom problematic. Other than that “No Problem.” The local maid provided what we asked for and Luis remotely answered every question promptly. Done deal, thanks Luis. It was an affordable long weekend.

The apartment was very clean and the location, on the beach and close to the center, was perfect! A small downside was the small shower, but for the rest the apartment was very spacious. Communication with Antony and Susana went smoothly and clearly.

Excellent stay: beautiful accommodation, beautiful environment, very quiet, excellent location, secure. Small shops nearby, city center 10 minutes' walk away. Very accommodating because our flight was at 9.45 p.m. and we were able to leave the accommodation at 5 p.m. to enjoy our last day in Sal. Nelson took care of the taxi on arrival and departure. I loved the stay, it meets the description. Very helpful and thoughtful host. The house is very well equipped, and they have small essentials for cooking, I recommend !

I had a wonderful stay. The communication was really great and helpful. The appartement was clean. The bed was great to sleep in. We choose the appartement without a balcony to have 2 bedrooms and some more quietness, the upside of that also was that we had no direct sunlight, so the appartement was nice and cool, so we did not needed to use the airconditioning. The neighborhood is alive, so enjoy the local people and please give my friends Abdou and Ali ( the mini stores infront of the door) a big smile every day and buy something from them, you will have 2 great friends for a lifetime! Be kind to everyone and recieve a once in a lifetime experience @ Santa Maria.

Very nice apartment at the heart of Santa Maria with a lot of shops and restaurants around. The apartment was equiped with completely everything which made the experience even better. Elena is very kind and responsive host. Totally recommend :)

We had a lovely stay at Maria's apartment which is ideally situated and has everything you could ask for. Mark

The house is very cute, with two fronts you can always choose if you wish to have sunshine and/or brizze. Lena and Zuleica were super responsive and proactive. The gas bottle ended and in 1 hour it was replaced. The house is in a great location, just a few metres of the walking street, with restaurants, terraces, bars with live music, etc. And the beach and the pier are 5min walking.

We just spent a week in this place. Everything was very good. Nice residence, quiet, beautiful pool. Very good location to walk to the beach or village of Santa Maria. Roger provided us with a lot of explanations before we arrived. Recommended place to stay.

Nice and clean apt. Close to 2 pools. Good resturants close by. We did not have remotecontrol for the aircondition, but this was fixed in a day or two. We would like to come back in the future.

A wonderful apartment and it is in such a great location. It is slightly outside of the main area, (but only 5 minute walk away) which is perfect and you are right next to the beach. The apartment had everything you would need and everything was comfy and clean. Adrian showed us to our apartment and how everything worked and he was always available to answer all of our questions about the area. Equally, the host, Nigel, has been extremely helpful as I left my jacket behind and he has kindly agreed to send it back to me. Would definitely recommend and I cannot wait to come back :)
