All services are very close, 2 minutes walk where we will find, Pharmacies, Parking, Restaurants, Burger King, Mercadona supermarket. The entrance door is on Calzada de Martianez, below the Hotel El Tope. The terrace of the penthouse is private and the apartment is accessed with a staircase of 16 steps.

So this is a special kind of place you don’t find too often. A bit off the beaten track - tucked away in a banana plantation and reached via a short trek up a river bed and a steep climb this oasis is prefect to ‘get away from it all’ for a bit. I stayed in the ‘dorm’ but this is essentially a house with 5 beds upstairs - very spacious, not the cramped bunk beds I was used to from the last few weeks. It really helps if you love cats and dogs - which I do - so there were a lot of hours spent talking to others staying while stroking a cat or three. I only had two nights there but it’s the kind of place you can ‘end up staying for a while’ and I got the impression many people return a lot. As hopefully I will!

We had a wonderful time here. The location in the green valley and in the middle of the mountains is magnificent and very comfortable even in the rain. Flawless cleanliness in the complex, very attentive service and recommendations in the surrounding area. The only drawback is the location on the street, which can sometimes be noisy in the morning on weekdays - otherwise it would be perfect.

A beautiful room in a prime location. Lots of restaurants and museums nearby, and a quick drive to anywhere in the north of the island. The white wine in the room is delicious! If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs as the restaurant could be a little noisy. But lovely to hear the hustle and bustle of the town. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

This is a fantastic Airbnb. It’s very cosy and quaint, and the outdoor area is really nice. The view is outstanding. Juani is a fantastic host, and couldn’t have done any more for us. We were there with a 2 year old and a 4 month old, and he catered for our every need.

We had a double room for one night and we liked the vibe so much that we cancelled our next place to stay longer and did the most wonderful scuba diving lesson. We even cancelled our hotel in puerto de la Cruz to stay at another nest hostel there. The people are so nice, it all was clean and they have such a lovely community and lots of activities in the evening. It was just a treat!
