Vacation rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

This fabulous palace apartment is located in a great central location within a 15 minute walk of anywhere you want to visit in Venice. It is also steps away from the public water bus and gondola crossing the Grand Canal. The view of the Grand Canal right out the window is spectacular, and the apartment is beautifully appointed. The building also has an elevator, which is rare for Venice.The host was very responsive and was wonderful to set up a water taxi for our arrival. The apartment is very spacious and the decor makes you feel like you are a special guest of Venetian royalty. It has ample space for entertaining friends or having a nice meal under the gorgeous Murano chandelier. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Venice that wants a touch of luxury in a perfect location.

Valentina was a great host. Not only she gave lots of valuable tips as well the place was beautiful, it’s just amazing. Very well located, just a few minutes from the train station as well of several landmarks, such as Rialto Bridge, the place itself is by the canal, you can see it from the window, all the amenities you might need, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, hair cream. The bed was amazing, the pillows looked like I was in the clouds. By far the best AirBNB I stayed. The place was ready even before the check-in time (might be lucky, don’t count on that but it happened for us and it was amazing). Thanks for hosting us, it was incredible and of if I ever come back to Venice, I hope this place is available at the time.

What a gem of a place! We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay in this spotlessly clean property set within a traditional Venetian property with high ceilings, the flat is immaculately presented with great natural light, bright interiors, and a modern and stylish kitchen and bathroom.The flat is on the first floor of house situated on a genteel public square, the flat is at the back of the building, all the rooms of the flat overlook a canal - quintessential Venice. In the immediate area around the flat you’ll find restaurants, cafes and bars It’s a charming twisty turning 15 min walk to St Marks Square and all the tourist big hitters. We walked around all of the 6 districts in Venice from the flat. Our favourite thing was to stand with local residents in the excellent patisserie eating pastries and drinking coffee. Gina and Michele were really helpful and responsive hosts. We were met by their friend who showed us into the flat. We loved our stay and will be back.

What a beautiful place! The patio is to die for with beautiful views. My thoughts: - Outstanding location - everything can be reached by foot or by the waterbus. (We got the 20 euro 72 hour pass which was so convenient to be able to hop on and off at will). The waterbus stop is a few minute walk from the apartment. - The bedroom is huge, with a bench at the end of the bed and lots of closets. - The dining space is ample as is the living room -which we didn't use because the patio is so awesome. - You will have to drag bags up 3 - 4 flights of stairs - be ready Suggestions: - There is only one outlet in the bedroom. Perhaps put in an extension cord to the bed to allow charging of phones / cameras etc. - There was no outlet in the kitchen for the kettle - again, maybe an extension with a muti-outlet? We had to plug it in on the floor in the dining area. - There was no coffee (there were empty cans). - We couldn't lock the patio door. Not a big issue - no way anyone can get in.

The location was wonderful! Shops and restaurants right around the corner and not in a very touristy area. There were recommendations for restaurants already there and they offered to help if we needed any. I’d stay here again.

We had such a great time in Venice- what a magical city! We ate our way through this city and loved every minute of it! Thomas is very responsive and gives great recommendations to guests. We specifically loved the balcony and the windows in the living room/bedroom area. You feel like a local
