Danielle’s place was perfect. The location was really great close to the beach close to town. We never had to get in our car to do anything it’s adorably appointed and she was a wonderful communicator.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

My family had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! The place was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and more. I was shocked at how comfortable the beds and bedding was. And you can’t beat getting to the beach from your back door. We would definitely stay again and hope to next year!!

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

What a great beach getaway. Steps from the beach and water, very quiet house even with all the neighboring homes being stacked close (as is the custom on the beach). Absolutely enjoyed the space which made our vacation amazing.

Amazing location with amenities around. Great spot for walking and the beach is very close. Private fenced yard. Great stay for 2-4 people. Keep in mind driveway fits 1 1/2 cars. Garage is storage. Definitely going to stay again. Dog Friendly 👍

This place is fantastic. Kevin spared no details. There were bicycles, games, sand toys for the kids, comfy beds, you name it. A couple of blocks to the beach. I didn’t interact with the hosts because I didn’t need to. The instructions were clear and everything was fantastic. We are already planning our return. Thank you for a great and relaxing stay

William was great to work with and we loved the place. Easy walk to the beach and we had the whole beach to ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

This was the perfect spot for our Santa Barbara weekend! We’ve been to Santa Barbara before but knew that we wanted to be closer to the beach and Funk Zone during this visit and this location delivered exactly that!

Roza's place was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the balcony and the beach was only minutes away. The area is safe and very quiet. Roza had everything needed for our stay. The grounds around the condo were immaculate. I would recommend Roza's place for a nice place to stay.

Unquestionably, after a long day, we arrived at dark, and were greeted by a kind and helpful staff member. We were able to just give a name and provide confirmation of our reservation in a matter of moments. Once inside our room, we enjoyed a clean space, a warm room, and a nice firm bed; helping us to relax at once and enjoy a perfect night’s sleep. Thank you to those who made it happen for us. 🙏🏼

Had an outstanding stay! The location can't be beat! The beach was. beautiful, the town adorable, and the condo was perfect for our mini-vacation! Will be back!

Louise is an amazing host! The apartment was clean and rooms were spacious. The short walk to the private access to the beautiful beach was the highlight of our trip. Would love to visit again.

Jo’s place was fantastic! It’s only a block from the beach, and feels like a classic California beach bungalow. The beds were comfy, the patio was lovely, and Jo even left us some breakfast foods in the fridge. Definitely recommend for a lovely stay in Carpinteria.

Another great stay at Logan's. The beach is only a few steps away and the Salt Marsh Reserve right across the street. One of my favorite things to do is either an early morning walk on the beach, or just stay in with an early morning cup of tea and watch the sunrise light up the hills. Coming to Logan's feels like a welcome home. I've been coming for several years and intend to continue.

This home is a terrific beach getaway in the Oxnard/Ventura area. The home is as described with the bonus of having a very well stocked kitchen, responsive host and lovely welcome basket upon arrival. The neighborhood is very quiet and only steps away from an uncrowded beach. We went to the beach multiple times a day because it is literally across the street. The rooftop deck provides spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. Each bedroom has its own bath which is great for privacy. If I were visiting the Channel Islands or Ventura/Oxnard area again, I would definitely return to this home. It was a delightful home base for our SoCal getaway.

We Walked in and saw the Amazing view.... The kitchen is very big with lots of counter space and a big table, the refrigrator/freezer is huge, like the freezer was as big as the Frig. They had everything we needed for cooking our meals and had dishsoap, paper towels, hand towels. The patio was nice and spacious with plenty of chairs to sit in and the sand came right up to the deck, good for keeping little ones close while playing. They had boogie boards, surf boards and extra chairs in one of the garages. All the Bathrooms had towels, Toilet paper, hand soap and even bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. The house has lots of beach towels. Brand New washer and Dryer in case you need to use it. The only things that I noticed that needed attention was there is no broom and dust pan to sweep up sand that gets tracked into the house and the BBQ grill was very dirty, we did not use it. Needs a good cleaning or a new one, the water pressure is a little low but no big deal Great House !!!

The location is great. the backdoor opens up onto the beach. The views from the back porch and kitchen windows are fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay here. The community is quiet and peaceful, even more so because it was off-season. The house is comfortable and has what you need. Be advised that this beach is one that allows cars to drive onto it which is not common. You'll see lot of cars, trucks etc driving down the beach to the dunes to camp and 4wheel. If you're walking the beach or setting up have chairs or more to make yourselves more visible to the vehicles driving by.

We had a wonderful time at the bungalow! It is a place with lots of character and everything you need to spend a lovely time with family or friends. Well equipped, and perfect location. Samantha was very attentive to our needs, and maintained great communication. We can’t wait to visit again!

Location is fantastic, right on a beautiful and uncrowded beach. The waves are the only sound you hear. It’s a small, modest cottage that has wear and tear and has not been updated in a long time, but its layout is excellent and it’s comfortable and clean. Host is responsive, helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back!

We couldn't have been happier with everything about our stay. We would choose to stay here again!!!!
