We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it was clear Mevlynne had thought of every little detail—from extra blankets and toiletries and fully stocked kitchen supplies. The property itself is incredibly peaceful, with beautifully maintained grounds and spotless amenities throughout. Whenever we had a question, he was always available and responded almost instantly, which made everything so easy. The only thing to note is that there’s no Wi-Fi on-site, so you’ll need to purchase mobile data if you want to stream TV. That said, we found it actually perfect—who wants to binge Netflix on holiday anyway? We spent our time exploring, relaxing, and truly disconnecting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, well‑appointed getaway!

One of the most special and memorable nights I've ever spent in an Airbnb. You're taken upriver and moored within kayaking distance of the Pont's restaurant, not that you need it since Baby Blue is equipped with everything you need to stay on board. My only regret is that it was for just one night. Falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the boat and waking to the sights and sounds of the birds and the bush flanking both sides of the river is an unforgettable experience. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Romel and Dee are lovely, generous people who have a piece of paradise on the Mtamvuna River. Thanks, guys!

Barbra's place was very nice, well equipped, clean and modern. Exactly what you need to relax on a holiday. We would return to her place any time. However the complex is in serious need of an upgrade, San Lameer was always a prestigious place to go and holiday, however in recent years the complex has become rundown, there is mould everywhere, the whole week we were there the walkways were never sweeped, surage drains where overflowing next to the public pool, you have to jump over monkey and human feces just to get to the pool. Pool had enough loungers, however only 5 sun umbrellas??for days no cocktails could be served as the whole complex ran out of ice.??Food orders where cancelled due to the kitchen s being short of ingredients, the Clubhouse restaurant manager and pool restaurant managers both had "take it or leave it" attitudes. Please note that this is NOT Barbra's fault, but directed at the Management of San Lameer. POOR COMPLEX MANAGEMENT. Cause of you we wil not return-ever

Very safe All in all this was an amazing experience for me and I cannot stress how safe the place is…suitable for solo travellers. Thank you Peter and Chere! We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The house is in itself amazing and the environment is so peaceful and serene. Lesley is literally the best and the trip would not have been what it was, if it was not for her.

Perfect getaway, just what we were looking for. Exactly as described and better than what the pictures illustrated. The host Hannah was friendly and easy to deal with, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 10 days. Lovely to be on the river with lots of wildlife around. We really enjoyed the supertube. Short ride to beaches. Emily's home had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Emily and her daughter Yvette were lovely hosts and made us feel comfortable and at home.

Beautifully newly renovated unit that had everything that we needed for a peaceful holiday. We loved area and the unit was fairly close to a top beach we throughly enjoyed. Would recommend!

Beautiful flat in calm, quiet and well organized complex. Beach is walking distance from the complex gate. Few shops and restaurants are very close, everything you need is only few minutes away from you. Hendrik was great host, almost daily communicating and offering any sort of help you might require. Definitely recommending this place! Will definitely try to come back in the future!
