Cottage vacation rentals in Sanibel

We had an amazing week at Mona’s Enchanted Cottage! Enchanted we were! Mona is so friendly and communicative, offering tons of great local recommendations. The cottage is cozy, clean, private, and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking—fed turtles, saw manatees swim by, birds, and even an owl! A few small gators kept their distance but not curious enough to bother. Fishing from the dock was fantastic—I caught 25+ fish across 5 different species. There’s definitely more than you can count though. The bait shop with the funny name further down the road had the best bait and tips. The hot tub spa is the super nice kind. We grilled dinner most nights and had no issues with the internet to stream shows when it rained. The town is small and cute. You can definitely find a place to listen to live music every night. Our dog adored the doggy beach, and Barefoot Beach was super close with easy parking at 10 AM. We didn’t want to leave, 10/10—already planning to come back!

Federico was amazing! he went above and beyond when we had a minor emergency with our 3-year-old daughter and helped us get some medications (and a humidifier!) for her on the mainland without us ever having to leave the island. he was always very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions about his place or the island. The space was very kid friendly and though it is a shared Deck with the house next door we hardly even saw or heard from The neighbors. oh and because it's not completely obvious from the listing you do not have to share the hot tub with the other house. There is one at each house. also, the description is a one minute walk to the beach probably needs to be updated given that there is now houses backyards you have to walk through if you take the most direct route. Other than that the area underneath the house was wonderful for our kids to play in when we weren't at the beach and the 6 person golf cart was just big enough for our party of five. A+ highly recommend

Wow! We loved this house. Great outdoor seating, loved watching the boats come and go. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Great flat grill for dinners at home. Good restaurant options in the area. Cape Coral is close to so much, but away from traffic. Loads of windows and natural light. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Shawnee, & her husband Dave were wonderful. They kept in touch w/ us, & made sure anything we needed was brought to us. Everything in their home was top shelf. Thank you Shawnee & Dave for a beautiful 2 week stay at your home. Bill & Sharon Hauswirth

Very nice cottage was perfect for weekend getaway

Had a wonderful stay during Christmas vacation 2024. Here are few things that worked for our family of four: -The house is spacious and clean with all basic amenities that we needed. -My teenage kids throughly enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. -David and Irina were very friendly and responsive if we had any questions or concerns. - The location is great! It is 10-12 min walk to the Vanderbilt beach and Mercato area (upscale stores and restaurants area) - Quiet neighborhood - The beds were very comfortable with good pillows.

Absolutely lovely host, the people previously stating this place is unclean clearly were looking intensely for things to complain about because this was one of the best air BNBs I have stayed at in this area. It's right next to the beach and tons of stores and the beds are super cute and comfortable, the decor is cozy. I absolutely recommend this place please ignore any negative reviews!

Yuliya is a wonderful host, and we felt right at home! She was very responsive, kind, and left a binder that included some local attractions. The home was extremely clean, and included nice amenities as well. Thank you Yuliya!

Clean and spacious inside with a large yard for dogs on a quiet street. I would definitely stay if I return to the area. 5 stars.

Michael and Lorna were super friendly and easy going but, at the same time, respected our privacy. The guesthouse was super clean with state-of-the-art appliances and had absolutely everything we needed to prepare our own meals in the beautiful kitchen. The pool area was gorgeous. The weather was on the cool side while we were there, so we didn't get in the water, but we loved sitting outside in the patio area enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. As an extra added bonus, they have two adorable puppies that were out a few times a day. We loved our extended stay at Las Tortugas Azules and would definitely consider staying there again if in the Naples area.

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

This place was a hidden gem! We lucked into it being available last-minute for a three-night stay and couldn’t have been any happier with it. The place was clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had new appliances, and enough cooking equipment to easily make multiple meals a day. Bathroom was spacious and clean, with a really nice shower. The lot is remarkably quiet and private given its proximity to several main highways. Plenty of restaurants, bars, stores, and more nearby. There’s even a park a just a few-minute walk from the property.

By far the most relaxing vacation our family has taken. The home is even more beautiful in person than the pictures show. The host's style and decor are just perfect for a cool beachy vibe which adds to the whole experience of being on LGI. Hosts were extremely accommodating during our stay. We cannot wait to return! ☀️

One of the best air bnbs I’ve stayed at in a long time and a great host. It always is so nice when the host provides extras like a few waters, beach chairs, a snack or two, etc and this one had all of the above and then some!

Beautiful area and plenty of beaches close by, we enjoyed our visit.

Holly's home is wonderful. It's clean and well-kept. Siesta is a quiet, comfortable park in a great location. Only minutes to restaurants, stores and the beach. Holly is very attentive and will respond to any communication quickly.

RedAwning was the perfect accommodation for our 3-day fishing trip. We docked the boat directly behind the house, which was equipped with a fish-cleaning station and comfortable outdoor patio. The hosts were friendly and responsive, even offering to replace the coffee maker we were having some trouble with. The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped (including complimentary wine and water bottles!). It would have been nice to have a second bathroom, but otherwise it was perfect!

Everything was great. Can recommend!

We cannot say enough about how much we love Barbara’s place on Little Gasparilla Island! It’s so homey and peaceful. This is our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again! Barbara and Bret are excellent hosts and always make us feel welcome. The location is perfectly peaceful and yet only a short walk to the miles of tranquil beach.

Michele’s place was the perfect place for my husband and myself. The house was very clean and comfortable. We brought our boat and rented Michele’s golf cart. Michele’s instructions for docking our boat and using the cart was helpful and precise. Michele was very flexible and gracious when we asked to arrive a day earlier. We very much enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again and recommend her place to others.

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for the kids and the pool was so clean! I would recommend this stay to many!

Could not say enough about the cottage I stayed in at the Malu Lani was the perfect fishing getaway. The dock space and private boat ramp for my small boat was perfect. Dockage had electrical hook up, fresh water wash down, and fish cleaning station was perfect. The cottage is perfect for two people very comfortable and quiet. Will definitely return Thank you David and Sharon you have a wonderful place.
