Beachfront vacation rentals in Sandwich

A lovely place to stay, right on the beach front with an incredible view. 5km down to Whitstable which is lovely to run, local food places were good and so much to do within close proximity. The accommodation was perfect, cost and homely with relaxing views of the beach front. Had everything we needed and Kay provided some lovely bread ect such lovely touches and made you feel super welcome. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. Beautiful Airbnb and a great location- a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Lovely sunny garden with furniture and a bbq. Comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but that’s called out in the description. We can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic location on quiet end of the High Street. Loads of great shops and restaurants within a few minutes and close to the beach. Garden is a sun trap which we made good use of. Managed to lock ourselves out late one night (100% our fault). Clare responded straight away and was there in 5 mins to rescue us for which we were so grateful

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! Absolutely gorgeous little flat just two minutes walk to the seafront. It's just generally in an excellent location close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. The flat has lots of natural light, lovely furnishings, a comfy bed. It has everything you could need and lots of thoughtful little extras too. It was absolutely spotless on arrival. We appreciated the little gift hamper, how communicative the hosts were and how cosy and welcoming the flat felt. We will definitely be back, thank you so much!

Felt really nice here, short walking distance to pretty much everything in Margate, nice and quiet location, hosts were very responsive, can’t find a single fault, just lovely overall and was exactly what it said it would be!

The Airbnb was as described, very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Tan was very responsive. Beautiful sunsets! Would recommend and stay again.😊

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

The place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and we had complimentary small bottle of milk. Would definitely go back. We went to Canterbury through the bus at the entrance of the camp. Great weekend away

We felt right at home in Wendy's holiday park caravan, which reminded us a lot of our luxury camper that we travel with back home in the states. Wendy was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host from start to finish, and the quiet location away from the busyness of central Dover couldn't be beat. No issues parking, and the overflow parking is a literal stone throw's away if needed. The shop next to the overflow parking was perfect to stock up supplies for a quick breakfast the next morning before we headed out. Supposedly there are laundry resources on site, but we arrived too late to take advantage of that - pick up tokens and soap at the shop if needed. The exterior doors are also a little tricky if you aren't familiar with multi-lock styles - make sure you pull up on the handle when locking exterior doors. Also be sure to make reservations for any of the nice restaurants nearby!

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

It was the perfect hut for a full day at the beach with the kids, all the amenities meant that we didn’t have to carry loads or stuff to the beach! Thank you and we will definitely be rebooking! ☺️

Had a lovely mini break away at Kimberley’s place. Felt right at home straight away and the location was perfect for seaside walks, popping to the near seaside towns and watching the beautiful sunsets this area of the North Kent coast is famous for. The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were really comfortable and I loved the little touch of leaving some bread, butter & milk, snacks and a hot drinks station. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked to go back again in the Summer so I think that says it all! Thankyou Kimberley, you were the perfect host! 😊

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

We had a fantastic time staying at Spindrift and would definitely visit again. Ally is a brilliant host - really communicative with clear instructions, and the property was exactly as described. Ally's properties have the rare combination of immediately making you feel like you are at home, but then the high-end interior design and attention to detail is also to a professional hotel standard. We had a lovely minibreak here with our kids. The house has a cosy period property feel and a well equipped kitchen. We loved how close the house is to the beach and the shops and restaurants in town. Natasha shared a helpful online guidebook ahead of our stay which helped us plan ahead where we wanted to eat out and even buy ice cream!

What a wonderful time we’ve just had in Rob’s beautiful beachside apartment. It certainly had the WOW factor with gorgeous furnishings, fabulous balcony and amazing views. The location was spot on, being located along the quieter end of the beach but still within easy walking distance to some cool bars and restaurants. We visited the bus cafe and beach bar with DJ set a stones throw from the property, along with the Fez bar, Bottega Caruso and the Micro brewery further into the town. The Turner Gallery, crab museum and TKE (all free) were great too. The communication with Rob and Fila was very pleasant and super efficient! We hope to return!

From the onset communication with Wendy was brilliant. Clear check in instructions , really helpful tips of local eateries . We were really happy with the quality of apartment , it really was a home from home with high end appliances, good quality crockery , coffee machine , washing machine , etc. this apartment literally has everything you need , we packed things we just didn’t need because the apartment had it! The views are really nice overlooking the beach. Biscuits and milk left for a welcomed cuppa on arrival. Everything was also super clean . Would highly recommend .

Really enjoyed our stay here seeing family and friends 😊 Great view of the sea -which is just accross the fairly quiet road And made use of lovely patio area and shared garden Fairly quiet and only a short walk to broadstairs shops etc We walked from train station approx 15 mins Enjoyed the French doors opening to patio having fresh air

We were greeted by Phil and Jenny who made us very welcome and they went through a few things with us. The accommodation was first class with a view outstanding. Everything was of good quality and the bed was comfortable. The walk in shower was great and hot. What more could anyone possibly require We will go again. Many thanks Phil and Jenny
