Vacation rentals in San Carlos

We had a super time the apartment was very comfortable we will use it again.

Very comfy bed, hot water, gas stove, reliable-fast WiFi. Strong aircon but no heater. Heat only needed during winter, I brought a small electric heater for bathroom last December. Dogs bark through the night but not incessantly and I adapted to it. Area feels safe. Gym a block away. Don't walk at night, feral dogs roaming all streets. Lots of nice cafes, eateries around. Interesting little town.

We had an all-round perfect stay! Communication was great, Alicia always responded quickly and tried to find the best solution. The place is clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything. From the terrace you have a fantastic view of the sea and the sunset. The highlight was the private gray whale tour: we saw so many whales up close, sea lions, turtles, birds and even a coyote in the dunes. Mayra, our tour guide, took great care of us, answered all our questions, prepared delicious food and was with Javit, the captain, the perfect team. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend both the accommodation and the tour from them!

The place is extremely comfortable and quiet. The only detail is that being on the outskirts and on an unpaved road when arriving at night and without knowing it is a little gloomy.

It was an amazing stay! The place is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also really appreciated the gallon of drinking water and the well-stocked kitchen, including tea, coffee, and a ton of spices. The communication was fantastic – Alicia was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and grocery stores. The highlight of our trip was the whale-watching tour they offer! It was truly the best experience of our entire trip – beyond all expectations! The captain and our guide, Mayra, were incredibly welcoming and made sure we saw everything possible in the Magdalena Bay area. Watching the Gray Whales was an absolutely magical experience. We also saw dolphins, sea lions, bird colonies, and even a coyote in the dunes. The boat tour wasn’t just about wildlife watching – it also gave us insight into village life and the daily experiences of local fishermen, which we truly appreciated! I highly recommend staying at their place and having a tour!
