Peaceful haven in a property with 4 hectares of garden, woods and river. We live on site in another house, we will be happy to host you. Electric heating and wood-burning stove for those who want it. Not recommended for children under 10 years of age for safety reasons (river).

Local attractions also include the castles of Fontainebleau and Vaux-le-Vicomte, picturesque villages (Barbizon, Moret, Samois, Bourron...), the medieval city of Provins, forest hiking trails and climbing sites (a crash pad is at your disposal), activities on the Seine and the Loing. Thomery train station, a 20-minute walk away, allows you to reach Paris in 45 minutes.

Walking and cycling paths are accessible within a few minutes walk from the accommodation in the direction of Bois le Roi, Fontainebleau, Barbizon and the surrounding area. Located along the Seine, you can go for a walk or enjoy aquatic activities. On request, we can rent you bicycles and crash pads.

You enter the garden from the street through a small discreet door. You cross a small paved and flowered courtyard before discovering where the house is hidden. In a very quiet area, it is located at the back of a large walled garden, one kilometre from the station and shops, and 400 meters from the forest. Perfect for a stay with family or friends, the house is also ideal for remote working as it has a fiber optic internet connection.

Garden flat in peaceful village

On the edge of a peaceful village on the right bank of the Seine River a few kilometers from Fontainebleau and Samois sur Seine, 40 minutes by train from Paris, this very spacious flat sleeps up to four people in two or more fixed beds in separate rooms. In the living room more guests could possibly be accommodated for an extra charge per person per night. 4 crash pads are available to climbers on site at a minimal extra cost.
