The house itself is just like andvertised, the perfect getaway for people who like a little solitude. If you are fed up with the view (unlikely), there are many options for eating, beaches and wineries in the general vicinity. It's an exceptional place to relax

What a beautiful little place! Amazing views, super clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The jacuzzi was hot and ready for us - we really enjoyed it at night. The host was very friendly and responsive! Thodoro’s mum kindly let us check in early and made sure we had coffee and bread with honey for breakfast. She even gave us beach towels! Very accommodating and super helpful. There’s so much to do around the area, and it’s just a short walk from the old town. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend.

This place is a paradise for city dwellers like ourselves. Our only neighbours were the kri-kri and a visiting cat. The nature all around is stunning and getting my teen marvel at the Milky Way at night is priceless. Yet we were not really far for what we wanted to do: entry to the Ardena Gorges hike was 300m away by foot, 700 m from the house is a cute canteen with the best Sfakian pies in Crete, neighbouring town of Anapoli has great tavernas, a supermarket and a bakery. Tons of beaches, other hikes and villages. So really a great host. The house was perfect for the 3 of us (4 could fit easy), very cozy with all the amenities that one might need. We slept so well there with no trucks / cars around! Janna was an amazing host, I basically followed just about all her recommendations of what to see, do, eat and we had a blast. Thank you Janna for everything, and I am taking the handmade olive oil soap to Paris. I really hope we will get a chance to come back and stay longer this time!

Een verblijf op het Omalos plateau is sowieso al uniek, maar het huis van Georgia maakte de belevenis compleet. Het huis is prima uitgerust met alles wat we nodig hadden. De vele terrassen zorgen ervoor dat je altijd een zonnig plekje vindt om van de omgeving te genieten. Ondanks het feit dat we Georgia niet persoonlijk ontmoetten, zorgde ze er via haar berichten voor dat we ons zeer welkom voelden.

Honestly words don’t describe how amazing of a stay we had and how grateful we are for Thassos as a host. The property is beautiful and has the best view of the old town. It was impeccably clean as well. We were nervous about trying to find the house and navigate around, but with Thassos recommendations and seamless check in everything was a breeze. It was the best way to end the trip and we can’t wait to come back!

Stone House The Amazing VIEW with Unique privacy

Wir haben Ende September eine wundervolle Woche im Stone House verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war einfach fantastisch, Giannis der perfekte Gastgeber! Bereits vor der Reise und bei Anfahrt hat er uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft und Umgebung ist sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Lage ist toll, sehr ruhig und Natur pur, hier kann man sich perfekt erholen. In der Umgebung finden sich wundervolle Strände, teils menschenleer. Ausgezeichnete Tavernen sind 15-30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Giannis hat uns einige empfohlen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes erhielten wir durch Giannis weitere hilfreiche Informationen, er war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal dort gewesen sein!

We have travelled round Greece alot, and it seems to get harder and harder to find authentic homes. Roula’s family home situated in a small Cretan mountain village is so what we have been looking for - simple, traditional, with a sense of history and family, off the beaten track and surrounded by peace and quiet. It really could not have been better. The house has been beautifully restored and there are two outside spaces. One east facing, perfect for breakfast, and the other west facing, so ideal for the evening. Roula and her mother welcomed us so warmly, providing fresh eggs, local olive oil and the very best oranges, and even a delicious home cooked meal. There was plenty of practical and useful information, but Roula was always willing to help more. We went for a few days in April, which is a fabulous time to see the spring wild flowers, and the ideal temperature for hiking. This really is the prefect place to just stop, relax and listen to the incredible sounds of nature.

Quel plaisir de séjourner à Livadia chez la famille Stelios. Ce logement est un ressourcement sans nom avec une vue à couper le souffle, proche de plages de sable fin et d'eau transparente. Nous avons été accueillis par Madame qui nous a fait gouter son raki maison. Ce fut un plaisir d'y séjourner.

Que dire de cet endroit... nous y avons passé 3 nuits mais nous aurions voulu y passer la vie ! Une déconnection totale avec tout le confort nécessaire à zéro prise de tête. L'endroit est magnifique et très bien équipé, le coin cinéma est juste "wahou", nous en avons profité tous les soirs. La douche en plein air sous les oliviers est un bonheur, super fonctionnelle. Le village de Paleochora est très vivant bien que plus petits que les villes du nord, il est a seulement 5 minutes en voiture. Christina nous a reçu amicalement puis a été discrète, sa maison est un peu plus bas sur le terrain, mais l'espace caravane est isolé garantissant l'intimité des hôtes. En espérant revenir un jour dans cet havre de paix... Merci pour l'expérience 🙂

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachdem unsere Fähre aufgrund des Windes zunächst nicht fahren konnte, half uns die Gastgeberin Kontakt zu der Schiffsorganisation herzustellen und mit uns einen Plan zu überlegen, wie wir doch noch abreisen können.

The only regret we have about booking Elpida was that we didn’t book longer! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The host is absolutely amazing, she’s like having a friend who knows the area and is always available for recommendations. The view was amazing, the space was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment had every little thing you might need. This place is an absolute gem of a find!!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We stayed as a family with three kids and a friend for one week in July 2024. The Villa delivered what it promised and even beyond that. Everything was extremely clean, beautifully furbished and the outside was spectacular with a lot of space, a small nice pool, a private beach, beautiful and big dining area, a basketball court and minigolf. It was the absolutely perfect place to spend the most amazing and private holiday!

Le logement proposé par Jude et Andreas est digne d’un grand palace et les hôtes sont adorables 🥰. La literie est très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. L’endroit isolé aide beaucoup au repos ! La cuisine est très bien équipée et le salon intérieur est cosy. Et l’extérieur est juste magnifique ! Un cuisine d’été avec un barbecue, une table, un salon extérieur et une petite petite chauffée et équipée d’un système de contre courant pour nager. J’ai nagé tous les jours ! Top ! Ne pas oublier aussi la petite terrasse derrière la maison, avec la vue sur les oliviers. Magnifique pour prendre l’apéro :) Un dernier mot sur l’emplacement : le village est tranquille mais sinon très bien placé pour se rendre à pieds (20min) à Vamos et sinon parfait pour visiter La Canée. Un grand merci à vous deux, Jude et Andreas. Si nous pouvons, nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
