Family-friendly vacation rentals in Samana

This resort was beautiful, updated and always clean. The beach restaurant is gorgeous and the food terrific. The beach and the loungers are paradise. My expectations for both the resort and my condo were exceeded

We were at one with nature in this peaceful oasis! We stayed here with our rambunctious 3 year old; we knew it would be a little risky due to accessibility to the pool, stairs, etc but it turned out great! Really enjoyed the (incredible!!) view, pool, the beautiful gardens, the wildlife. We also liked the area, we really got a sense of the real DR. The place was perfect for a short stay! The kitchen had the basics, but imo not enough for a longer stay. The highlight was the little cat, my son had lots of fun giving it water and cuddling it. Lots of ants/wasps/mosquitos here, if you don’t like creepy crawlers, this place might not be suitable! The place was as described, clean and the staff on site were great (daniel and anulfo). We managed to get up the hill in a tiny Kia Picante, but as others suggested, its a very steep, rocky road; an SUV would have been best but it was still do-able in our car with extreme caution! Elegir la casa de Frédérique para quedarnos 6 noches en Las Galeras fue, por lejos, la mejor decisión que pudimos haber tomado. La casa, con su inmenso jardín prolijamente cuidado y poblado de plantas y árboles, está ubicada a solo 1 cuadra de “La Playita”, una de las playas más lindas de Samaná. Sin embargo, lo más sobresaliente de nuestra estadía fue la amabilidad y calidez de la anfitriona. Cada mañana nos esperaba en su galería con un desayuno repleto de frutas frescas exquisitas, pan calentito, manteca, dulces, fiambres, acompañado por supuesto de café dominicano, yogurt y jugos. Pudimos probar de su propio jardín agua de coco y “bananas” con las cuales hasta cocino un delicioso postre, que luego nos convidó. No solo nos sentimos muy acompañados por Frédérique, sino por sus adorables perros “Muñeca” y “Caramelo”, fieles compañeros en la playa, guías en nuestras salidas de trekking y guardaespaldas en todo momento. Experiencia inolvidable. Gracias por todo. Fran y Agus.

The house was beautiful! Honestly , the photos did not do it justice. The space was perfect for my large group of guests. We were a party of twelve with children. The breakfast chef was amazing, had I known I would have booked her each morning. The rooms on the main floor were clean and smelled fresh. The room on the second level, seemed a little missed on cleanliness of the floor and mirror , other than that it was perfect. Check in and check out was simple and easy.

Alessandro’s place was amazing. The home looks better than the pictures and the pictures were already breathtaking. My family loved the pool but especially the private beach that was just steps away from the house. Definitely coming back to this place when I come back to Samaná.

Muy amables ambos, fácil de llegar. Y el sitio es acogedor. Teníamos que salir a una hora y nos dió chance para poder disfrutar un poco más de la estancia.

I contacted Luigi during the late afternoon for a same day check in. He was quick and responsive and responded to all my needs. Check in is quick and efficient. Clean apartment with a great beach view from the balcony.

It was a slice of heaven. If you are looking to decompress this is the place. The water is steps away and the sound of the waves is right at your doorstep. You can enjoy breakfast as the sun comes up over the water and nap under a palm tree! The host was super nice and incredibly responsive ! What more can you ask for? !

Bruno and Disirée were both extremely responsive and offered lots of good information about their place as well as Las Terrenas in general.

Visite esta villa hace 6-7 años y es incredible como la encontré en perfectas condiciones. Super amplia, las camas muy cómodas. La host Maria siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos bien. El servicio de Maribel y el señor que atienden la villa es excelente y hicieron nuestra estadía mas plasentera.

Me gusto mucho el alojamiento de Cynthia. Espacioso, vista al mar, piscina, BBQ. Todo como ll describia.

What an amazing place! Our stay was wonderful, our family loved every corner. We had a blast soaking at the pool and watching the sunrise from the bay every day. The host was super communicative. Shout out to Iris! She was so kind and attentive. She prepared a stunning breakfast for us! Do not hesitate reserving this beauty. Location was nice, inside a hotel and all the hotel staff was super kind. I recommend having a car to move around.

The place is beautiful and clean. It has all the comforts to spend some incredible days. The kitchen has all the utensils for cooking and all the appliances work well. We will definitely stay at the place again. Recommended. Communication with Carolina worked perfectly. She was always aware of us.

House is beautifull. Pablo could be a superhost. He prepared a nice welcom for us. Only problem was the noise from the church. Its very close to the home and its impossible to ignore it. Besides that it was a private paradise. Thank you

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. The beach being steps away, the fantastic team taking care of the house and Erik's communication make everything easy We were a group of 7 people and everyone had his own rhythm and private space. Great location in order to explore Las Terrenas.

Buena ubicación, a pocos pasos de la playa serena y tranquila. Cocina equipada, piscina limpia y espacioso.

My family and I had a lovely time at Isabel's place. The house is comfortable and spacious, the beds are great, the garden and swimming pool are wonderful for families with children, and the location is perfect if you want to relax and walk to different beaches, restaurants and bars. Isabel is very communicative and we were able to have all the help we needed to have a restful break.

My husband and I stayed in Mauray’s apartment for 5 nights and loved every minute! The apartment is spacious and the mountain/pool view from the balcony is very peaceful. The apartment was very clean and the amenities made our stay very convenient. The check in was a breeze and it was very easy to get into the apartment. I appreciated the recommendations offered prior to our trip as well. The private community that the apartment was located in felt very safe and allowed for a very relaxing stay. The pool was steps away and the stunning beach was close by. We enjoyed our time spent here and hope to have the opportunity to come back soon!
