This nature trail is a 3-kilometer (1.9-mile) route, partly shaded and without any major climbs, making it a lovely walk or jogging path. Quiet, cozy place with a private terrace. The Gîte du Monorail is located in the Plaine du Forez, 43 km from Saint Étienne and 5.4 km from Feurs. The house is in the heart of the medieval site of Donzy on the edge of the Charpassonne River (1st category fish) on the old Monorail passage, on the edge of the GR89 "Chemin de Montaigne". It's a great spot for hiking, leisure, relaxation and discovering Forez.
