Set in an idyllic village, Cranborne is known for being an area of outstanding natural beauty and for having the best unpolluted night skies for star gazing. Within walking distance we have great pubs, restaurants, garden centre with café, historic church, village shop with post office and a fantastic brewery with neighbouring bakery which offers Friday night takeaway pizzas.

You will find an oasis of calm in a busy world where you can relax in comfort after an active day visiting the many sites of historic interest or admiring our beautiful local scenery. Almost all our guests have told us that the Super King bed is the most comfortable they have ever slept in!

The luxurious kitchen is fully equipped with a Lavazza coffee machine, dishwasher and bronze fittings. The extensive views overlook Walcot street and hills beyond.

Stylish One Bedroom City Centre Flat
Our flat is a newly redecorated stylish first floor, one bedroom city centre flat, in part dating back to the 16th century. In the heart of the city centre, close to shops, restaurants and bars. 5 minute walk to the train station. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. All sorts of excellent pubs and restaurants nearby, and we would be happy to recommend our favourites. The flat has recently had a brand new bathroom fitted and the kitchen has been newly fitted. New heaters installed.

Coachman’s Cottage is a converted Coach house and Harness room originally built in 1860. It is next door to the owner’s home. Southampton water is a short walk away, and the New Forest lies to the north. There are many local attractions near by including Exbury Gardens and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. The property is all on one level. Hythe is just over a mile away. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests in an adjacent building. Pub 200 mtrs walk away.

Unique situation this detached cottage, with an EV charger, is within the Greatfield estate and has beautiful private gardens within a parkland setting. There is a private security gate for access. We are a short walk (5 mins) from Bucklers Hard village and Beaulieu River, where you will find the Master Builders hotel and pub, the Marina and the Maritime Museum. For the hotel restaurant advance booking is recommended. There is a lovely riverside walk to Beaulieu village ( 2.5 miles ).

Within 5 minutes drive of Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) set in the North Wessex area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of a dark sky area. Close to Newbury, 1 hour to Oxford, Windsor, Bath, Winchester and Stonehenge. London 1 hour by train from Newbury Station 15 minutes away. There are a variety of places to eat close by ranging from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants. Vine Annex sleeps 4 one king sized double, one single and one small single in twin room.

Pigsty Cottage is a very spacious apartment within the grounds of a listed Georgian farmhouse, its a lovely private place to stay. Well equipped, with a top quality kingsize bed and secure parking. A Lovely rural location, stunning gardens. Great for visits to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Amesbury and Devizes. We do allow a well behaved pet. If you’re planning on bringing a pet, we’d like to know in advance as we make some small changes to the furnishings accordingly.
