Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sainte-Rose

Directions were translated from French including the neighbours house names which caused confusion with our taxi driver. A more obvious house number would be useful on the busy long road. Nadine was warm and welcoming even though we had very limited French. We had a coffee and honey gift pack which was very welcome. The room was a basic studio but spotless and had everything including a two ring stove top and coffee machine. There was a counter top oven we had assumed from the pics was a microwave, and would have been useful if it was. The bathroom was small and functional- be careful with the hot water as it a solar heated and very hot! The garden and gazebo area was pleasant and we saw iguanas, skinks and lots of birds. Pool was fabulous! Walk to the beach easy, walk to Deshaies OK but avoid it at night as very few street lights. All beach restaurants shut in the evenings. During the day it’s advisable to book lunch anywhere. Food outlets limited at night without a car rental.

We had a pleasant stay in this little corner of paradise. Annette and her husband hosted us very well and welcomed us with pleasure.

Accommodation is clean and recently renovated, in a very quiet setting. The car is a plus even if it is not essential to access the accommodation and enjoy the activities/beach nearby.

Great stay! We were hosted very well by Ghislaine and Jocelyn who are available and warm hosts while remaining very discreet. The cottage is quiet but close to amenities. We enjoyed the pool, the quality of the bedding and the terrace with a very nice view. We recommend the cottage without a second thought!

Very good stay at Verene's. A real little slice of paradise nestled in the heights of Guadeloupe, with a sea view. Waking up to the sound of roosters sets the tone: nature, calm and total escape. Special mention for breakfast on the Leroux terrace, where the brioche-style "pain au chocolat" are a delicious surprise. A property to remember to recharge your batteries with ease! We really enjoyed the time. Ruddy and his wife are very warm, welcoming and accommodating. They were happy to give us tips for possible excursions and were always ready for questions. We will definitely be back !

We had a pleasant stay in Isabelle's home which is tastefully decorated and well-equipped.

We stayed with Véronique and Yves for a short time but we would definitely have stayed longer. We had a fun time! We were greeted with beautiful touches. We would highly recommend it. In the event that we revisit Guadeloupe we will certainly try to rent with them again.

A true caretaker angel! We arrived in Guadeloupe late at night, tired and untapped, only to discover that the house we had rented on Booking was a scam. In panic, I wrote to several people on Airbnb desperately looking for a solution, and the only one who responded with kindness and availability was Josefine. She and the owners welcomed us with great warmth, guiding us step by step on how to get to the house and offering us a safe retreat when we needed it most. The house itself is very characteristic, cozy and attention to detail, perfect for those looking for a pleasant and serene stay. We can only highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you very much, Josefine, you were really an angel sent from the sky!

We had a great time, to the point that the next one is already planned. Franck is very responsive and the apartment is well equipped. We had the pleasure of being surrounded by Nala and Bella who brightened up our stay.

We had a stay that exceeded all of our expectations! Laurence is very friendly and took the time to give us tips for our trip as well as good places to visit. There was also a yellow alert during our stay (we were not aware) and Laurence took care to notify us and give us updates on this. A great stay in a really quiet environment surrounded by nature, close to shops and beaches, the pool was highly appreciated. Very welcoming, friendly, available, discreet, and very generous hosts. Accommodation perfectly suited to our needs and expectations. Very warm welcome. The host had prepared several arrival gifts for us (fruits, charcuterie, local rums...). Sarah and her mom were taking care of us. We would highly recommend.

a quiet little paradise just the sound of waves in an adorable little exotic garden Christine is absolutely adorable and welcoming. You feel like you are with friends very quickly. the accommodation is impeccably clean and very well located close to the sublime beach of the pearl among others the path is a little difficult for cars you have to drive very slowly and it goes well i highly recommend to all guests who love peace of mind

From warm hospitality to nearby recommendations, Fanny and Arnaud were impeccable hosts. We had a lovely stay at the Caribbean stopover. It was a very good starting point to explore the south of Basse-Terre, a short walk from the pier of Les Saintes, the trail of the backdrop or the bath of loves, to name a few. Four, two children and two adults, the place was very comfortable!

We had a great week, the house is cute and in a lovely garden. It has everything you need for cooking and to relax, after a long day of exploring. Beautiful beaches are nearby, we would definitly recommend staying here in the North of Basse-Terre.
