Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sainte-Mère-Église

A very nice stay in a very quiet and peaceful environment, an old house with exposed beams that offers some charm. Many proposals for activities (beaches, museum visits, activities, ...) with the estimated time to go. Thank you for this stay, I highly recommend and plan to come back.

We were looking for peace and relaxation and found exactly that and much more with Katrine. The apartment is beautifully furnished and it was also well equipped for children. The garden was a dream, especially for our son. He enjoyed the lambs, the chicken and all the space to play. Katrine took wonderful care of us (fresh baguettes and croissants on Sunday) and gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area. On our next visit to Normandy we would stay with Katrine again in a heartbeat.

Great stay! We spent 3 days enjoying the calm and all the activities available directly on site (ping ping, petanque, darts, billiards, foosball and board games). Two steps from the Souleuvre Viaduct, we took the opportunity to go for a walk! Sophie is very responsive and welcoming, the instructions are clear!

You can hear and smell the sea in the garden. It is most pleasant shortly after high tide, when the water withdraws from the firm and warm sand. There are no shops or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but if you follow the beach to the south, you will find a small restaurant in the dunes and a small supermarket a quarter of an hour away. Otherwise, you don't need to leave the house: everything is there, including pure romance. It was a wonderful week.

Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is small but very functionally furnished. However, I do not recommend it for 4 people, especially for a longer stay. We had a pleasant time in a beautiful area. A new experience for my family.

We came to Paulette's home for 3 days because my partner participated in the historic climb of old motorcycles that took place 15 minutes from the rental in Moyon-Villages. So we were with a vehicle + a trailer and that was no problem. Accommodation exactly as in the photos so no surprises. Clean and tidy house. Very welcoming and warm host. We will surely come back to participate in Moyonnaise so we will take over the rental of Paulette without hesitation. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful and cosy home. The house is very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and the gardens are stunning. We visited with our 2 teenagers and 1 dog and we spent good quality time as a family in the conservatory in the evenings enjoying the views, listening to music and eating/drinking local produce. There are small markets near by and bigger ones like Carrefour/lidl at 25 mins drive to Saint Lo. The communication with Nadege was great. She'd always reply quickly and was very helpful with our questions. 100% recommended.

Apartment with view ideally located a few meters from the beach, perfect for a family of 4. Apart from a (small) downside regarding the sound insulation from the apartment below, we would definitely recommend this apartment.

Excellent stay at Romain and Celine's. Very nice, bright, tastefully decorated apartment, it feels like home. Historic center is a stone's throw away as well as shops and restaurants. It may be missing a small dishwasher (it's really to chip!). We'll be happy to come back!

Very clean and very spacious apartment in a very peaceful area, in the heart of the upper town and very close to the more commercial area. The apartment is also very bright. The little more convenient: fresh bread deposit right next door at the tobacconist, very nice and pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. The nearby sea.

Very nice cottage, nicely decorated, in a charming house with a lovely green, flowery and peaceful garden with little birds. Guy and Jocelyne are very welcoming hosts and are happy to introduce you to their beautiful region with good advice and documentation provided. We enjoyed our stay to travel the roads of the Channel to discover the many historical sites near the cottage.

A lovely stay at Sandrine's! The accommodation was very pleasant and quiet (even Thursday night during student nights). Sandrine was very responsive which was very much appreciated. I'd love to come back :)

Very well located accommodation (everything is within walking distance, even the memorial just a 30-minute walk away), very well appointed and equipped. Very accommodating host to allow a check-in according to our desire. Please note bath towels included in the rental, which I had not seen when booking. I recommend it without hesitating!!

Angelique's apartment is perfectly located. Right next to the Women's Abbey and close to the main attractions of Caen. To explore and get to know the city you don't need a car. Everything is walking distance. It is important to note that the unit is on a 4th floor and there is no elevator. Angelique's host is excellent, extremely attentive and her willingness greatly helped us resolve an issue with the rent of our vehicle. We are more than grateful for all your help and for making our stay truly unforgettable. The only thing that was inconvenient was the parking for our vehicle as there is no control over that and it was very complicated to be able to park the same. They should know that if they rent a vehicle it is very possible they do not have space to park it. Other than that, everything was excellent and we recommend this space for your visit to Caen and Normandy. We went to MT. San Michel, Étretat and D-Day sites.

The absolute best AirBnB I have ever stayed in! Amazing location to see DDay sites and surrounding area, and just minutes from the Omaha Beach WWII monument. Beautiful house with everything you need for a perfect stay. Would come back the next time we are in France!

Despite the rain we had a pleasant stay in this rental where the setting was worked with care (furniture, light fixtures and heathered paintings). The children really enjoyed the treehouse and picked up the chestnuts from the large garden. We needed the fires in the fireplace that we especially love in the fall. For the rest, the rental is well located (close to the beach, site visits, rather quiet area).

Karine and Philippe are very welcoming, the house is clean, it is well equipped and suitable for families with children (baby bed, high chair, board games, trampoline and slide). The indoor pool is really nice with water at 28 degrees, children and adults enjoyed it. Overall we had a pleasant stay with friends.

We had a timeless weekend at this beautiful home! Florence was a very warm and responsive host. The house is very well equipped, and perfectly thought out to accommodate large tribes, the location and views are beautiful.

Augustin was very approachable and helped when my daughter was poorly. Answered lots of questions before arrival. Lovely, quiet rural area. Pool was a complete winner. Garden large. Lots of space for children to run around. Beaches were always quiet and vast. We liked the local World War II museum, bakery, bicuiterie and beach bar. All about 20 mins walk or drive and find an easy parking space. If you are taking small children (the house has a great cot), I would advise to take a high chair and a stair gate. We did and it was handy to have. A lovely, sunny week in France. Thanks Augustin….

The accommodation is very well located with the beach at the end of the street, within walking distance. The apartment is well equipped with good bedding, a spacious terrace. Great for our 2 days by the sea.
