Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay with friends in this beautiful barn, tastefully renovated. The living room is spacious and the garden huge and quiet, perfect for children. Comfortable and well-equipped

Very well maintained, arranged and decorated house. Very quiet. It has all the comforts and nothing is missing! It's very spacious. The small deckchair area, table/barbecue are a plus to enjoy the outdoors. Fred was very welcoming and attentive. A great place to stay with family or friends and explore the region. We can only recommend it!

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.

This is a charming, characterful, and historic apartment in a jaw-droppingly beautiful location right in the heart of Poitiers.

Accommodation as described, everything was exactly as mentioned in the listing, very good for 4 people, a little tight for 6. I would recommend this place, close to the Futurocope and all other shops.
