Beautiful place, very responsive host. Unfortunately, my car was stolen from the reserved parking space behind the building. The instructions mentioned putting a club on the steering wheel, however my car does not fit one. Additionally, my car has an anti theft system, as well as Lexus tracking, so I thought my car was safe. It was not. While the location is convenient and very central, it does have a bit of a sketchy vibe after dark. But during the day, there are plenty of students walking around as it is near Concordia University and is a block from the metro station

We will definitely be returning to this listing if we find ourselves back in Montreal. Could not have been any better.

We were lucky enough to stay at this cottage and it was an exceptional experience, thanks in large part to Nancy and her spouse, hosts of rare kindness and exemplary dedication. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Always available and attentive, they did not hesitate to lend us personal belongings, to help us in different situations and to ensure that our stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Their generosity and hospitality really marked our time here. Beyond their incredible helpfulness, they are people of great sympathy, with whom it is simply nice to exchange and share moments. Thanks to them, our stay was even more memorable. We will come back without hesitation and recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful place with exceptional hosts. Visited Montreal with the girlfriend for couple days. Marilyne's place was perfect. Not too far from downtown. Quiet, peaceful, clean. Perfect for a little getaway Would recommend to others.

Comfortable, clean, and safe space to stay with excellent proximity to Maisonneuve Park (which is incredible). Somewhat limited dining options in the immediate area and no easily accessible metro station (requires a bus ride or a 30+ minute walk).

Just a great place to stay overall...thank you, we will be back for sure!!

I booked this for a late birthday celebration of a loved one. We were in awe of how beautiful it was! The view when you sit down at the dining counter in the morning is breathtaking. I was thinking of ways to actually buy the place lol! There was definitely a feminine touch that i noticed right away: Q-tips, round cotton pads, tampons. It was so thoughtful and refreshing to see something different, i love having q-tips wherever i go. Another thing, i was not prepared to how much kitchen ustensiles, seasonings there were. They really thought about EVERYTHING! flour, sugar, different sizes of skillets, etc… i plan to rebook again and again! It was worth every penny. I honestly wish more airbnb owners were this considerate in their planning. From the multiple games in the living room to the extra blankets in case it gets cold, there was a genuine thought behind it. The place is decorated so beautifully and cozy, got me thinking of moving in the mountains. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!

I really enjoyed my 2 day stay at Vermeer House! It was very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed all the breakfast items, including fresh milk and bread that was provided. I would return here.

Beautiful home, cozy and charming!

Perfect for a few days in the green. The neighborhood is very quiet (at least in spring). Bring everything you need (coffee, wood, etc.). Convenience store 15 minutes away otherwise. Beautiful lake view below accessible via wooden stairs. Lots of cottages around but you feel completely private thanks to the trees and the land is large. We enjoyed the stay!

The apartment was very clean and very well located as it was close to the many amenities of the Plateau area. Chris was very responsive and always ready to help out with advice. I would definitely recommend staying here.

A 2nd time for us in this accommodation and we loved everything just like the first time. The location is perfect, close to several services. The park and pickle ball courts are a few minutes' walk away, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The space is impeccable!

Our family of six stayed in Jason and Eric's place for five nights. From the first question I had before even booking till the day we left they were very quick to respond to any and all questions we had. So communication was really great. The house was very spacious for the six of us. The younger kids loved having three floors to explore, we all had our space and three and a half bathrooms was great. The house was very clean and bright!! Lots of huge windows but also the recessed lighting was amazing on the first floor. We used the dart board and had a lot of fun with that. The location was great, we crossed the street to the park daily. It was a short walk to Mont Royal and we did it every day for some groceries, bagels or shopping. it was a 50 min walk to old town which we did twice. We did a ton of walking around Montreal and the house was always a great place to come home to. Comfy beds were appreciated too!! If in Montreal again we would stay here again!

Eric was very responsive, providing instructions, answers to any questions, as well as recommendations to stuff nearby! The condo was also very cozy, having everything you need after a day exploring. The patio especially was relaxing.

This airbnb deserves more than 5 stars. There isn't anything in the airbnb that feels cheap. The standard set of airbnb-specific qualities of a place -- too few plates, cheap knifes, cheap furniture, cheap bedsheats... this place has none of that. Everything was super comfortable and felt like an item that a reasonable person might make as a forever-purchase in their own home. I booked this place primarily for the sauna/gym access (gym is great, sauna was standard, didn't get quite hot enough for my liking but honestly to be expected in a giant shared condo sauna). But I was pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable the apartment itself was.

Really a great stay, everything was perfect! The accommodation is new, clean with all amenities. Near restaurants with a good morning coffee. Having my little dog with me was clearly a plus! Definitely would recommend 😊
