Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Very nice house, meets our expectations. Quiet, bright, well-equipped. The 2 sleeping areas are well insulated and the bathrooms are very functional. We were able to enjoy the pool with our little girls. It is suitable for all ages. The garden area is well exposed with a country view. In summary, we would recommend this rental. This is a really lovely property in a great location. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. It was very hot during our stay so we were grateful for the air con - and the pool, which was lovely and clean and bigger than we had expected. Although the villa felt very private and the surroundings were peaceful, there was plenty to do nearby. The beach is beautiful, though if you want to swim you really need to go at high tide, otherwise you have to wade through the sand to reach the water. The train station is within walking distance and the train to La Rochelld took only 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to return one day

Ideal location right on the Atlantic bike path. Good signage and marked bike paths. The islands are easily accessible by bike. A dream for touring cyclists. You can then relax in the well-maintained whirlpool.

Nice accommodation and close to many activities in the surroundings. Quiet, the whole place is very convenient for a weekend getaway for a couple, or more. Nice little terrace when the weather is nice for a drink or eating outside. No complaints.

Small house tastefully furnished, quiet, a little small, small culinary attention for the arrival, lack of space however for a family with 2 children

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

Brilliant family holiday, accommodation was exactly as portrayed in the pictures and description. Marina who completes the check-in/checkout is great and very helpful. Will hopefully be back.
