We had a wonderful week at Marie-Paule's apartment. It was the most beautiful apartment we've rented on Airbnb so far. Spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated with high ceilings and a lot of character. Its location was also ideal, at the foot of the magnificent citadel and within walking distance of all the sights and shops of Besançon's old town. The apartment faces a central square used to play pétanque and where there is also a pizzeria and a small grocery store. It is bordered at the back by the Doubs River which runs through the city and a magnificent path along the river allows us to walk around the city on foot in a bucolic environment. Marie-Paule and her spouse are very friendly, responsive and accommodating hosts. We hope to be able to return on our next visit!

Great weekend with friends, with the kids in Edita's nice place… We were able to enjoy a Jurassian break between hiking to the Hérissons waterfalls, tasting Jura wines by the fire while playing board games and Breakfast at a large table in the morning... The cleaning was spotless, there is very good bedding, all the equipment for babies, books and board games for all ages... And I admit that the possibility of making a small fire in the stove once the coolness of the evening has set in is the icing on the cake. Edita was responsive to our messages and available. We highly recommend this place if you want to discover the charms of the Jura!

The cottage is large, very clean, nothing was missing in the kitchen. We were 5 adults and 4 children, the game room made us happy. We spent 5 wonderful days in Foncine-les-Hauts. The view from the chalet is breathtaking.

Jean is an available and very welcoming host. Her house is lovely, cozy, and full of charm! We loved enjoying the flower garden, with its beautiful peonies by the water, as well as the terrace, ideal for relaxing. The location is perfect: close to the city center, while being quiet. Our stay was a real enchanted break! Impossible to tire of the view from the house. The setting is idyllic and the environment peaceful. The house has canoes that we were lucky enough to use in the middle of sunset. We felt very good during our stay: clean and well-equipped kitchen, quality bedding... the house is spacious, everyone has their own space. We highly recommend this listing and would not hesitate to return if the opportunity arises!

Carole's place is perfectly located, right on the lake and right by the beach of Lutry. The seaside resort is very pretty and has a good infrastructure. Along the lake you can walk in a short time to the pretty town and reach cafes and restaurants. The train station and grocery stores are also within a short walking distance. The accommodation is "small but nice" and offers a large, well-equipped terrace with wonderful lake views. Carole is a charming host who gave us helpful information and provided us with things we didn't have with us. We would come back to stay anytime.

The accommodation both met our needs and exceeded our expectations. Spacious, light, private with comfortable furnishings and very well equipped. Marion made some excellent recommendations for local walks, scenic drives and wonderful restaurants. We also found and amazing bakery just around the corner for those wonderful French treats. We really recommend this apartment as a base to discover the wonderful town of Arbois

The apartment was bright, friendly and nicely decorated as described. Everything you need is there and you are so close to the water that you feel like you are right on the lake. Evian is easily accessible by car and also on foot where there are many shops and good restaurants.

We just had a wonderful week in this beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect: top equipment, very quiet environment close to all amenities, exceptional view and welcome from our host. Perfect for 4 people with each having their own bathroom and toilet. If we return to the area, we will not inherit.
