The Heart of Marguerite in Menat

"Le Coeur de Marguerite" has been converted into a cottage in the heart of the Combrailles in an old barn. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living space with access to the kitchen area and the bathroom, upstairs, a sleeping area with beds in alcoves. This accommodation is close to the Sioule (at the bottom of the property), the Queuille meander, Châteauneuf-les-Bains and its thermal baths, Vulcania in the Chaine des Puys and many other possibilities for visits and activities.

This 35 m2 cottage is attached to the guest house but separated by a central room that allows guests to have the desired tranquility in a large wooded area. The accommodation has a double bed in a bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, easily accommodating 4 people. A baby bed can be provided free of charge upon request. The sauna (wood-fired) is accessible all year round and promises you perfect moments of relaxation.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

Within a 40 km radius you can go to Vulcania, Puy de Lemptégy, Volvic springs, the stone house, Puy de Dôme and its Mercury temple. Walks in the Sioule Gorges with its history and heritage... etc. All outdoor activities: hiking, biking, motorbiking, swimming, canoeing, climbing...
