Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Montan

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cévennes, super quiet, tastefully decorated and well-equipped. With a swimming pool and beautiful pétanque court… And available, responsive and very friendly hosts!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

Valérie’s place is quiet oasis in a great location for exploring the local region. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the local village has some great restaurants.

We felt very good from the moment we set foot in the house. Tastefully decorated, open to a nice terrace/garden with pool, offering top equipment and a little local product attention😊, this rental has it all. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close to the center of Montelimar and food shops (within 5 minutes), we settled in quickly. Véro is a very friendly, vigilant and caring host, quick to respond to messages. You will have understood we were totally charmed by our stay and we highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at Anais’ property. She was very kind and understanding in her communications when we had a family emergency and allowed for some very much appreciated flexibility. Thank you so much, Anais! The house is beautiful, in a very remote, peaceful area amongst vineyards. The views are gorgeous and it is wonderful to be surrounded by so much nature. We loved the markets recommended and enjoyed long days in the pool. The shallow end is perfect for young children and the hot tub was also nice for evenings. The house was very clean and the pool towels were wonderfully plush! We would love to return. The only things of note are that there were a lot of bees and wasps around the pool during most days. Overall it was ok but three of us did get stung (so good to know if you have an allergy). We also had the crow that other reviewers mentioned knocking on the kitchen window in the morning (which is actually quite funny once you realize what is happening but did wake us up).

The house of Éric and Caroline is alone in the middle of untouched nature in complete tranquility but still so central that you can explore the surroundings all around. The house, or rather the whole property, is beautifully renovated and has retained its old charm. We loved the natural pool. The contact with Éric and by phone also with Caroline was very friendly and personable, thank you very much! We have already had a few houses in the south of France, this was definitely a very special one!

This place is by far the cleanest we've ever rented! Everything is impeccable. The place is super quiet. The owners were kind enough to install a shade sail on the pergola to protect us from the heat. A real luxury! I would recommend it without a second thought!

An absolutely wonderful family stay! The house is tastefully decorated, it immediately feels like home. The setting, surrounded by vines, is simply beautiful and very soothing, perfect for unwinding. This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

What a wonderful place! The area is breathtakingly beautiful, with impressive nature, cozy villages and plenty of opportunities for hiking, canoeing and enjoying local specialties. Our accommodation was comfortable and cozy, Hélène was incredibly friendly and quick in communication! A perfect balance between tranquility and adventure. We will definitely come back!

A magical place. Total change of scenery, everything is gathered to spend unique moments. Françoise is very welcoming, took her time to help us get settled and to show us around this beautiful place. Thank you so much, we are delighted.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to spend some time truly in nature.. the sound of birds in the morning and the sunsets are beautiful. A car is required as the place is hidden away but it’s definitely worth the extra mile for the experience. Florian has put together a lot of local recommendations and the morning fresh bread available on some days is a must! All in all we had a great time and recharged our batteries!

Everything was perfect, the apartment is as described, tastefully renovated, super well-equipped, it's very pleasant, not to mention the little touches that don't appear anywhere but that are so pleasant that it transforms the place into a real favorite. Florence was very available, not stingy with advice and very accommodating. In short, to be repeated without a doubt.

We had a great time in this cozy cottage, super complete in terms of equipment and very neat. The jacuzzi is a great bonus as well as the perfectly fenced garden where our little dog could run freely. We were able to take walks 2 minutes from the cottage between the lavender fields and the vineyards in the beautiful nature of Ardeche. Thank you Christine for this wonderful place and for your availability! We'll be back next year!

I did not believe it was going to be as picturesque as it was - absolutely as described… walking distance to the fantastic Domaine Mourchon winery (25-30 mins) great bakery - check opening times. 2 un tested restaurants, again check opening times. Wonderful views with fantastic noisey Swallows morning and evening :-)

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is beautiful, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cozy apartment, where you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

The accommodation is as described. The apartment is particularly suitable for a family. The high chair and the umbrella bed are available in the closet. There are toys and children's books. The apartment is in a very good location in the heart of the village. A bakery is located close by. It is possible to park at the bottom of the building or a little further on the road. A large parking lot is available 5 minutes' walk away in case of heavy traffic. A large playground is located within the castle grounds. The neighborhood is quiet. Everything went very well, the host is responsive. I recommend it without hesitation.

What a wonderful stay we had at Didier and Sylvia's!! It started upon arrival, a warm welcome. The accommodation is beyond words, for us a different world that we stepped into..so incredibly beautiful, clean and tidy. It is also special how Didier and Sylvia have given substance to this. You see, notice and feel that there is love and passion in everything! Sylvia was able to recommend a number of gems to visit. The area is also insanely beautiful, quiet. Nearby there are plenty of towns to visit and the C4 restaurant is definitely recommended if you want to eat out. Here you can eat delicious pizzas at an affordable price.
