House vacation rentals in Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts

This was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. The home and private grounds are wonderful reflections of the spirit and beauty of Provence. Where do we start? The beautiful decorations in the home, the well appointed bedrooms, kitchen, dining, and living room, and the large landscaped gardens with a well maintained pool, and the surrounding spaces with panoramic views of the valley. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away and Lacoste is a central location to explore nearby towns. Michel and Christine were gracious hosts who met us when we began and ended our stay and made us feel welcome to stay in their wonderful property. Thanks again for making our trip to Provence such a great experience.

The location was 15 minutes drive from Arles town centre. The Loft was clean on arrival and the host provided all necessary utensils, linen, towels and a "starter kit" (eg. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, BBQ charcoal and lighter, etc). Access to the Loft was timely and by security Key Code, making it flexible to enter on late arrival. Pool and gardens were well maintained. Baby cot and high-chair were supplied. Florence, our concierge, was very helpful and proactive in answering all our questions in advance. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and timely.

Very comfortable, modern, very peaceful and quiet - but what stood out most was the incredible views, of the sea with homes and trees on a lovely slope, and the beauty and tranquility of the garden and pool area. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Martine’s place. She was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. She was a friendly and helpful host and gave us great information about the area. The house was perfectly equipped and spotless and has everything we needed for our family of 4 to have a wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed being able to walk to Bonnieux and to drive around the different towns in Provence. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day!

The house is in a beautiful area of Provence, the village of Lacoste is a few minutes' drive away. The tranquility and privacy are perfect, the house is very comfortable and well equipped. The pool is perfect for hot summer afternoons.

We had an incredible stay at Christelle’s beautiful home. Check in was smooth, the villa is immaculate and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is idyllic, we fell in love with Lacoste. Such a picturesque and peaceful town. We cannot wait to return! Thank you for having us.

An enchanting, luxury getaway in the South of France. This is everything you’re looking for in Provence and then some. Gorgeous views, posh pool, lots of privacy on a beautifully renovated French country estate. You won’t be disappointed!

The outside areas of the property are as comfortable as the inside. All the rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for preparing meals. There is every piece of equipment you would need. There was plenty of hot water and the fire was a lovely addition for chilly evenings. There are also lots of kitchen supplies to get you started or bathroom necessities in case you forgotten anything. The garden isn't fenced but this didn’t cause us any issues with our dogs. The protection dogs across the road are secured behind fences and didnt cause us any problems. We found them very friendly once you'd be there for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend staying here, Valerie is delightful.

Wonderful place to stay for a long weekend, or even longer! We hopefully will return, enjoyed this place so much!

We had a wonderful 10 days in Le petite maison. The small, very nicely furnished cottage has a charm all its own, which we liked immediately. For us as a couple, the size was perfect. The amenities are completely sufficient for the vacation. It's bright and friendly. You can look into the garden while cooking. We liked the garden very much, the different seating options outside allow the perfect sunny spot throughout the day. A highlight is certainly the pool, which we often used despite not quite summery weather in September. Here, the coordination with Laurence and Phillip was very straightforward. In general, the two are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful but also very discreet. They maintain the privacy of their guests and you still feel very well taken care of and in a very good place. The cottage is located in a small village, so a car is an advantage. We will definitely be back!

The place was beautiful and Bonnieux has everything you need for a great base whilst exploring the Luberon. We loved the setting out in the peace of vineyard and cherry orchard whilst being an easy walk into the village. Edwina was very kind and helpful and left a wonderful welcome for us at the house. Would 100% recommend.

The house is comfortable, well appointed and cute. Joel was helpful with local recommendations and we felt quite at home. Both beds were comfortable and the house was peaceful and well located. Laundry was a plus and the pool was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Had the best time, accommodation is cute and so close to the little town everything was walking distance. Prunelle had instructions for everything and was on hand for any questions. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

We were here for a week of cycling day trips and staying at Aart's place in Lacoste was absolutely perfect! We rented an eBike from Sun eBikes in Bonnieux and got fantastic service there - highly recommend!! Free bike delivery to the house included in the rental! We especially enjoyed Aart's garden which is a haven of green, quiet, private bliss! The house itself was more spacious than the photos suggest. It has a very comfortable bed, close to King size, great heating and a nice shower! It also has a fantastic sunroom with a large dinner table - very sunny and bright and cozy on rainy days! All the furnishings are modern and well selected! Aart was very responsive and helpful with all our questions! The amazingly charming medieval town of Lacoste was a 3 minute walk away with its 3 good restaurants and a small grocery store! It would be hard to find a better place in the L:uberon and we hope very much to be able to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mouriès with Valérie and Philippe. The place was very clean, well equipped and ideally located. We appreciated the private pool and the tranquility. We will be happy to come back, thank you!

I cannot stress enough how perfect everything was about this listing. Antoine was so nice and helpful. Very quick to respond to messages. He gave me a big list of recommendations for places to go and where to eat. His daughters were adorable and very friendly and welcoming to my son. The town of Eguilles was beautiful and quiet and had everything you could need (Boulangerie, grocery store, laundromat). I am so glad we decided to stay in Eguilles instead of Aix-En-Provence which we found difficult to navigate and park. It was such a great central location for all of our day trips- Cassis, Arles, Moustiers etc. My biggest regret is not booking a longer stay. I loved Provence and can’t wait to come back. Highly highly recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful private property in glorious surroundings. It’s surrounded by lilac and rosemary plants and the constant buzzing of the bees and the sound of the cicadas is Provence perfection. The property is in glorious solitude and beautiful countryside with a majestic castle 5 minutes walk along with a small cobble street village. It’s a class act. Loved every minute and Catherine is a wonderful host who responds immediately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property and her wonderful olive oil. 5 stars plus

We had a great extended weekend, in peace. The house and its rose bushes are beautiful. Access to St Rémy on foot along the canal is lovely.

What an absolutely stunning villa! Nestled in a hillside, with nothing but trees around. We hired a car, and this was the best option for this villa as it was a 12 minute drive/50 minute walk into Aix centre, but Aix is so easy to drive around and have us the flexibility we needed. The villa itself was beautiful, felt high end, with good quality furnishings. Honestly couldn’t fault it!

The house, with its traditional charm, is spacious and perfectly equipped, which made our stay very comfortable. The exteriors are really superb, with many small terraces where we were able to enjoy the sun and tranquility. We felt like home from the very beginning. Pascal and his family are extremely friendly and caring. We were warmly welcomed and Pascal was giving us incredible advices on places to explore around the area. For us his interest in cycling fitted very well. He gave perfect route advices and joined for a memorable trip through lovely villages in the Provence. The house and the garden is very calm and a perfect spot to organise different trips. Beautiful, classic Arles townhouse with gorgeous details like the stone stairs and wooden ceiling. With modern updates, nice kitchen, and lovely bathrooms. Loved the upper cozy living room and terrace to relax in. Has everything you need for a cozy stay, and can't beat being within a few steps of arena and the heart of Arles. Host was excellent in communicating and highly recommend!

Bonnieux is a quiet village in the Luberon, and Jennifer’s place helps you to slip immediately into relaxation. The views are absolutely stunning. We woke each morning to birdsong. The home is beautifully decorated and also homey at the same time. We had all the amenities we needed and more. The terrace was the perfect spot for a glass of wine or a nap (or both!). Jennifer also provided excellent recommendations for food. We had one of our most favorite meals at her recommended restaurant. The house manager was friendly, responsive and helpful. The location is ideal to Sun Ebikes and the Luberon Greenway bike path. We spent several days touring around, enjoying warm sunshine, seeing poppy fields, and discovering other villages. There is an AMAZING ice cream shop and chocolate shop. We loved Bonnieux the best! We can’t wait to return to this beautiful property.
