Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint Margarets Bay

Have stayed at Stuart and Heather's place before and enjoyed our stay just as much this time. The house is beautifully appointed and well equipped, and great value compared to many similar places. The sunny little garden is an extra benefit. Stuart and Heather are friendly, responsive hosts too. Would definitely stay again :)

We stayed at Fox Barn over the May half term and, considering it was the school holidays, it was incredibly good value for money. Howard was very responsive to any queries we had and provided us with a great list of things to do and places to eat prior to us travelling down. We found Fox Barn to be perfect for our needs for a week. We were lucky with the weather but the location is absolutely perfect for exploring all that the Kent coastline has to offer. We enjoyed trips to Margate, Broadstairs, Botany Bay and Deal which are all within an hours drive and the kids loved the sandy beaches (particularly at Broadstairs). We also enjoyed Wingham Wildlife Park and Betteshanger Park, riding the mountain bike trails, as well doing some Park Run tourism at Pegwell Bay. For fans of the outdoors there really is so much to do. Fox Barn itself is a wonderful space with excellent size bedrooms, kitchen and a great dining area which we used as a family most mornings. We would happily visit again!

The barn was beautifully decorated. Clean and very homely. It had plenty of room and was amazing ,with everything we needed for our stay .The outdoor space was perfect again we had good seating,a bbq ,a fire pit and a wood burning hot tub which was perfect and was ready to use when we arrived .We were surrounded by nature it was stunning. Lisa was amazing , she knew exactly what we needed. Her responses were quick and helpful a perfect host and very kind .Lisa was on hand if you needed her but we had perfect privacy . Nothing was too much trouble .I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Location wise was really good ,not far from Sandwich,Ash and the east coast is a short drive away . Beautiful walks , woodland and totally safe for our little dog . I only wish we could have stayed longer , it was the perfect place for peace and tranquility. Thank you Lisa

Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. Amazing place right on the beach - fun driving through the sunbathers to the house which was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

Great value for money - excellent location - good facilities - very clean and tidy. Genuinely the best part was the host and receptive experience and communications - great stay - loved the place.

My name is Andy, and my friend and I had an amazing stay at Sarah and Lewis’s wonderful home. I was in town for a golf tournament, and after searching all the options, we definitely found the best one! The house was spotless, spacious, and far better than advertised. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast, and the huge TVs in the kitchen and living room were ideal for two big sports fans. The lighting added a great touch, and the backyard was peaceful—we had a few memorable sunset meals out there. The hot tub looked incredible, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. The beds were super comfy, and the bedrooms had tons of storage. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Dover and will absolutely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at Laurence's - 5 star, everything was lush. As a host, Laurence was excellent and very responsive and flexible. Highly recommended stay!

It was a lovely apartment, beautifully clean, and with all the amenities we needed. Low ceilings in one bedroom and doorways, but you can tell that from the photos. A useful thing to know is that the two bedrooms are railroad style; in order to reach the double bedroom you have to pass through the two twin rooms (they're separated by the dressing room, but the stairway is in one room and accessible only through that room). This might not be a problem for a family, but we were adult friends sharing a place, and if we'd known that one room would have no privacy, we'd have made different plans. Otherwise, everything about this stay was perfect, and I give it five stars for that. Thank you!

Loved the beach access, straight out on to the sands and nice garden to sit in. Easy to use TV with helpful instructions. Lots of kitchen stuff to cook meals, not that we did. Found Chris extremely helpful and very comprehensive instructions for parking, checking in, and all the facilities including photographs.

We had a wonderful stay at Bellevue and would definitely stay again. The property is beautiful and well equipped a stones throw away from the beach which both of our daughters loved. Angela was a fantastic host who had great communication. Thank you for a lovely stay and we can’t wait to return

What a fantastic place - location is superb and right on the beach with short walks to the great restaurants, bars, and cafes of Marget. Amy was super helpful and responsive. Place was clean with stellar accommodations for both kids and adults. The decor is really impressive - love what they've done with this place. If you have a chance to stay here, don't pass it up.

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

Just returned from a really lovely couple of days at Windy CornerCottage. Location is fabulous. Easy to find and parking very easy in the space provided. Sea front 1 minute walk, nearest shop 5 minutes. Plenty of pubs restaurants coffee shops within easy walking distance including co op and Sainsbury’s local. Windy Corner cafe is on the ground floor below the flat great for a snack or coffee. Despite proximity to everything location is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The apartment itself is very comfortable and homely. Slept brilliantly in the double bed. Didn’t use the twin room but it looked very comfortable too. Bathroom was clean with lovely walk in shower and kitchen/ living room comfortable and clean. We did not cook or use washing machine so cannot comment on these. Communication was great from the minute we made the booking. We collected and returned keys to the cafe who couldn’t have been more helpful but there is also a lockbox if needed. Overall experience faultless.

We had a great Christmas. The house is a much bigger then the photos. Plenty of space for a large family and more then enough hot water for all of us!! The house is very clean, enough pots, pans plates etc. Lovely setting, loved the little church, which is open for visiters only, seeped in history.

Excellent family stay at L'Ecume des Jours. House full of charm, fully equipped and very peaceful. Very good bedding, very bright ground floor, and pleasant. Beautiful playroom for the little ones. Walks directly accessible when leaving the garden. Very attentive owner. We will come back!

Enjoyed the beautiful accommodation immensely. The spaces were clean and equipped with everything you might need. The cottage is very cozy and cozy and tastefully styled. The beautiful coastline is within easy reach. Nice restaurants are also in walking distance. In the neighborhood, there are also fun activities to do, such as Wimereux, various museums. But the most beautiful thing is the rock jumping in Audresselles.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this peaceful bungalow. Everything we needed was provided at a very high standard. This was our send visit and we will be back.

Jeani was sensational! One of the babies in our group had to go to an and e and she was so generous and kind while we had to stay longer at the house. If I could give 10 stars I would.
