The village store is a short walk away and is loved by locals. Lovely stay, very welcoming, glass of wine on arrival. Extremely lovely host, Nick, very friendly couldn’t do more to make sure you had a good stay. Bed lovely and comfy, very good breakfast cooked to order, when you wanted it. Food good, gluten free options. No complaints, would recommend.

We had a lovely stay! Room was really clean & had a true victorian feel to it which was what we were looking for. Very good location, walking distance from old town. Nelly was very flexible with check-in/out timings & gave us alot of very nice recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again whenever we come back :)

Had a lovely stay here. Sarah gives you all the privacy you need but is there when you have any questions. The room was very nicely furnished and clean. In the room there was also a lot of information on what to do in the area. There where even 2 walking routes starting from the B&B printed out. Breakfast was ready every morning in the hallway next to your room and could be eaten in your room or outside if the weather was nice. I would love to come back here.

Super host status definitely justified -Christopher was so helpful and even showed us around his beautiful designer garden and made local trip suggestions. I went with him to his lovely church too for a wonderful sung Eucharist. Quirky and very lovely house with a separate ‘wing’ for our bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all for our small (3) party. So peaceful and comfortable . The two dogs, Sammie and Roughus(?) were also gorgeous . Good quality continental breakfast and access to kitchen and lounge made our break a ‘home from home’ too. Thank you Benjamin.

Lovely BnB in the beautiful Kentish countryside. Kate was very quick to respond to messages, and provided us with useful info prior to our arrival including road closures in the morning! She left milk left outside the room in the morning for us to make tea, and gave us tea, cake and berries to enjoy in the garden when we arrived which was lovely. The room was very clean and included everything you would need for your stay.

Rachael’s place is the perfect place to stay in Rye - where better than the iconic mermaid street? As two londoners looking for a wintery staycation, this was perfection. We really enjoyed the whole house, including the beautiful big kitchen table for the board games we brought with us and the cosy lounge where we stoked a fire and had a drink. Everywhere in rye is within a ten minute walk (!) and coming back to such a beautiful and cosy room was amazing. The breakfast is also the best way to start a day, so delicious and filling. Look forward to recommending this to all our friends looking for a relaxing and wholesome stay close to the capital - thanks so much!! ❤️

Delightful Inn, on a village green, surrounded by views of the South Downs. Quiet, picturesque village, the whole place is charming. A short drive or brisk walk to Beachy Head and Seven Sisters. Just 15 mins from pretty village Alfriston and Cuckmere Haven Beach. Definitely recommend, and would like to return. Delicious and ample breakfast.
