Apartment vacation rentals in Saint Gilgen

Lovely spot to enjoy exploring Fuschl am see and the surrounding towns/ lakes. Right on the bus route and the 'guest mobility ticket' means all your bus travel is already included. The included card for the local sports centre/ leisure centre (which is less than a 10 min walk) was fantastic. It is a great place to enjoy outdoor swimming and paddle boarding. We are hoping to return again in the future.

Ingrid was a fantastic host. Her commumication before and during our stay was excellent. She met us personally on arrival and when we left, providing helpful hints and tips about the local area. The apartment was in a great location within Hallstatt and ideal for visiting the surrounding areas. Providing a dedicated parking space outside the apartment was really helpful given the parking restrictions in the village itself. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ingrid thought of everything from robes to slippers, umbrellas to toiletries and much more. We had a lovely relaxing week and are very grateful for Ingrid's care and consideration throughout. We would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Hallstatt and surrounding areas.

We enjoyed a breathtaking view of Lake Wolfgang from the apartment windows, and which looks exactly as it is in the pictures. The location is peaceful and private with easy parking and easy road routes to Salzburg and the other lakes. It’s up a hill so may be a challenging walk from the lake (about 15-20 mins) if you struggle physically. There’s a mix of restaurants nearby but two supermarkets very close if you want to self cater as we did for half our stay. The place has just enough pots and pans to make a full cooked meal.

I would highly recommend staying in Stefans home! Everything was extremely clean and tidy, the view from the balcony is amazing! The nearby area of this home is beyond stunning, we were in absolute awe of the views from mountains to lakes. We went fishing in shwarzensee lake after renting rods and gear at sport girbl so I would highly recommend doing this as the lake was huge with a great restaurant to have a lunch break in between! Stefan recommended brilliant restaurants and things to do nearby the home. The only thing I would mention is that where this home is based, it’s very useful to have a car to get around as we were by foot and found that we paid for many taxis to get to most locations. Overall, unbelievable experience and stefans place was hugely accommodating !! 5 stars for sure 😁😁

Sandra's place was so beautiful. Really fabulous views, easy access to restaurants and the lake. Fabulous trails to walk. Very comfortable and modern. Everyone in the area was pleasant to us English speakers.

Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

Great place.. amazing view and walkable to the lake and groceries nearby. Convenient parking. You wouldnt feel like leaving the apartment given the beautiful and calm surrounding. Kitchen was also well fitted and beds were comfortable.

Great for a quick stop! We stayed with Magdalena for 4 nights (in transit) and there was nothing missing. Very clean, everything fine, excellently equipped! In any case, it was completely sufficient for us. Communication was quick and flawless. To the town center by bike in about 5 leisurely minutes. The house is right on the bike path to St. Gilgen, very quiet. If there is anything to complain about: You can't really darken it, it's bright early! It didn't really bother us.

Awesome place to stay in Kuchl! Would totally recommend the place!

My husband and I spent a week in Marion's beautiful, cozy apartment. Very well-equipped, spacious kitchen, large bed with good mattress. Indescribably beautiful view of the lake! You can't get enough! Marion and her husband are super nice and gave us many tips for things to do in the area. For shopping, a car is not bad, but everything was also easily accessible with our bicycles. Thanks for the relaxing days, dear Marion!

Georg and Renate were wonderful, communicative but not intrusive hosts. We felt right at home The apartment is very pleasantly furnished, it had everything you needed. And for me, the most important thing: absolutely clean!!! The location is fantastic. By bike we could do many beautiful tours, even some further destinations were easy to reach by car and bike. The evenings on the deck chairs, a glass of wine in hand and the fantastic view of the lake were the perfect end to an eventful day. Thank you Renate and Georg for the wonderful time (10 days) with you. You and your apartment are highly recommended.

Alexandra's apartment is really enchanting. You immediately feel at home and Alexandra has really thought of everything. A highlight for us was the wonderful smell in the bedroom of Swiss pine and the many details in the apartment. I'm sure we'll be back!

We, 4 adults and 2 dogs enjoyed staying at Bettina's place very much. We felt very comfortable and our dogs were also warmly welcomed. The apartment is very nicely decorated and perfect for the number of people. Bettina is a very warm and helpful host (she even invited us to a private celebration). She gave us many great tips for excursions and hikes. The location is perfect and you can do a lot in the area (Traunstein, Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden , Salzburg). We will be happy to come back.❤️🐶🐓🌷⛰️☀️

We felt very comfortable at the place and enjoyed our short break very much! The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail and very tastefully! A big plus is the large terrace with the hot tub! The apartment is located in a very quiet house and despite the neighbors we had the feeling of being on our own! Perfect for holidays with a dog!

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a mid-mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always available for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located 5 km down in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We recommend it.

The Chalet was exactly as the photos portrayed. It was well appointed with plenty of furniture for everyone to be comfortable as well as a nicely stocked kitchen. We did have some confusion when we arrived to find the two bunk beds had not been fitted with linens. We were six people - one couple and four singles - so we had expected to be able to use all of the beds. The solution was simple, we moved the linens from the other half of the two king beds, but we were surprised that all of the beds were not made. The only other issue was regulating the temperature in our bedroom. We kept the window open all day so that it would cool down enough for us to be comfortable sleeping, but by the middle of the night the room was quite warm again. (We could not leave the window open during the night due to street noise.) All in all, we had a very nice stay at the Chalet.

Very cool accommodation with a lot of love and above all creatively and cozily furnished. Very good service on site. It makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended again at any time.

The apartment was well equipped. In addition to the hot tub, which we liked to use, the small extras and an overall well thought-out user concept were the highlights of the apartment for us. We felt comfortable throughout the stay. With the Baics, such as communication and cleanliness, everything was great! We'd love to come back

Our stay in the summer house with the Bartl family was very pleasant, incredibly relaxing and perfect for a relaxing vacation in the mountains. The apartment is wonderfully designed, you can tell the craftsmanship of a good carpenter. We can all recommend this Airbnb. Best regards, Morris
