Cottage vacation rentals in Saint-Fargeau

We were a family of six that had just arrived at CDG Airport from both US coasts. We were tired and jet lagged. We got to Catherine's house and felt immediately at home and comfortable. It was a PERFECT landing and resting spot for tired travelers. It is so charming. the layout really worked for us. The surrounding area made for a peaceful walk in the nearby forest. The house met our needs in every possible way!

Our stay at Andrew and Marielle's was lovely. They very kindly welcomed us and gave us directions to things to do and see in the area, cafes, swimming and more. The accommodation is simple and comfortable, and the garden is very pleasant.

The accommodation is ideal for a family of 4 to 5 people, easy to access thanks to a key box. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped, all appliances and utensils are available, as well as paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, bathrobes... there is even a small first aid kit with bandages, disinfectant, etc. there is also coffee, tea, powdered chocolate, water, milk… Bernadette thought of everything! The spa is a real plus, nothing better after a long 5-hour drive! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely come back for my next stay in Burgundy.

Great weekend spent in this peaceful and warm place. The availability of the property was perfect. The hot tub is really very nice, large, clean and easily accessible. The terrace in full sun in the afternoon is really great. The only "bad point" would be the inventory to do on arrival, which is a little long, especially when you stay there barely 2 days 😅 I highly recommend this Cottage, we hope to be able to come back for a longer period of time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Rogers lovely cottage. The house has been very tastefully renovated and indeed the photos on the website do not do it justice! We felt very much at home in this very clean and well-equipped house with all the home comforts. Roger made sure our stay was no hassle with clear and helpful instructions. He answered quickly to all our messages. Thanks for a lovely few days in such a peaceful and calm setting.

Very nice New Year's Eve in the warm atmosphere of this house, including its large living/dining room and pleasant Lights. Frame/decor: ++ Cleanliness: ++ Amenities: ++ Bedding: + Notas: - Slightly noisy heat pump for one of the double bedrooms on the ground floor (winter) - Long fixed bench for one side of the long living room table: for agile guests. The other side of the table has chairs.

Wonderful stay in a story book setting.

We had a lovely time at Moulin de Presly, Virginie welcomed us with great kindness and simplicity. Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the tranquility of the place - a real break in time, with the ponds and geese adding to the change of scenery - the accommodation was very clean and cozy... Our little boy also greatly appreciated the presence of toys! We would happily stay again to be able to enjoy the place longer and fully! Thank you so much to Virginia!

Nice place to stay, big garden and enough places for large groups to be together

Sylvain is a very attentive and responsive host. It's extremely nice, thank you! The house is true to the photos. Spacious. It is surrounded by a very nice garden which we unfortunately did not enjoy because we had a little rain! Quiet place, surrounded by nature, ideal for resting or meeting with family.

Joanna and Julien are a very charming, attentive and responsive couple. We were very well welcomed The house is comfortable and very well equipped. We felt right at home. Quietly secluded and close to the fields, the nearest woods and village within walking distance. A nearby lake and the museum and the Colette house to visit that unfortunately we were not able to do because we were closed for work until April. The house is well heated and the fireplace is a real plus. Warmly recommended

I had an exceptional stay at this beautiful house! The place is spacious, bright and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfectly clean when I arrived and I really appreciated the little touches left by the hosts. The village is quiet and pleasant, ideal for relaxing. I highly recommend this place and I will gladly come back during my next visit to the region

Very functional house, with charm, and access to the garden which is very nice. The countryside around is pretty. Beautiful bike rides possible on the nearby Burgundy Canal.

Loved so much our stay, starting with knowledgeable, amicable, responsive and effective host Erick, who made our stay trouble free while helping hugely with local advise re all things in Burgundy. The house is in top shape, fully renovated with modern design and large open spaces, yet preserving old charm, with great appliances, super clean, and frankly overall pretty luxurious (Erick, you're modest in descriptions, lots of things here to brag about!) Sizable backyard plus another property piece that stretches up to the stream. Excellent walking on picturesque streets on the village, and fantastic scenic rides around. A paradise for culture, nature, and history lovers like us, convenient for our visits to Avalon, Vezelay and Auxerre plus countless old villages and eglises that Erick advised to see. Would love to be back and highly recommend! Heartful thanks for all your help, Erick!

Very nice exotic place for a weekend with friends

We had a great time at Sophie's place. The house and garden are very nice! Communication was very good.

Maurice is very welcoming and very friendly. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and very spacious. The terrace is lovely. Maurice responded to our various requests responsively. We'll be happy to go back.
