Bertrand is a perfect host. Spoke very good English and was knowledgable about the surrounding area. Walking with the goats and a supply of fresh eggs is an addded bonus.

We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

Mr. QUESNEL is a welcoming, friendly and respectful host. He informed us about the different shops and festivities nearby. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and very pleasant to stay in. We had a great time with the family. A stay to be repeated without hesitation.

One of the best AIRBNB I got. The House is truly a gem, with a great pool. Perfect for 2-4 persons and to discover Normandie.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. We loved our stay and enjoyed the location. Only issue is uber is very limited and no bolt so make sure to use local car rental or taxi services.

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

Beautiful property with lovely outdoor space. Very comfortable bed and excellent facilities. We visited Arromanches, Bayeux and Omaha beach & cemetry. All the places were fascinating with a great atmosphere due to us being there around the DDay celebrations.

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. An informative detailed plan for the DDay beaches was provided by Francois. lovely flat perfectly located for easy walk into Bayeux. there is a Saturday market 5 mins away, typically French. Our host was always happy to help with info and advice. we will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

Well-equipped, clean house, terrace and upstairs bedroom with sea view. Ideally located. Barely a 3-minute walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants. We had a lovely stay.

We loved staying at Carine’s lovely home in Bayeux. The house is very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. The house is an excellent base for exploring the D-Day landing beaches as well as further inland in Normandy. Walking into Bayeux is really easy and there’s a lovely bakery only 5 minutes away by foot. Thanks Carine for the great recommendation.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!
