Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the heart of the Cévennes. Close to amenities (grocery store, restaurant, pizzeria, municipal swimming pool...) this beautiful village house has on the ground floor a bright and warm living space, a large bathroom, a toilet and a laundry room with washing machine. Upstairs, 3 beautiful bedrooms as well as a second toilet. The mezzanine is not secure and therefore not suitable for young children. The outdoors is quiet and green.

Our cottage enjoys panoramic views of the mountains. South facing with large terrace and private garden. It has an equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 with bed 160x200cm / 1 with 2 single beds + possibility of a clic-clac on the mezzanine for a 7th guest), large bright living room, bathroom with shower, dry toilet. The cottage is located 7 minutes from Villefort where you will find shops, restaurants, SNCF train station, lake, nautical base, many hikes possible, etc.

Discussions welcome and availability of both hosts in an enchanting setting. The place is exceptional, riverside, tastefully decorated, perfectly maintained. We would have stayed longer because we felt so good there. I recommend it not with eyes closed but wide open in front of the roses, the irises, the lime tree and with the memory of a meal spent under the light of the lanterns on a sweet May evening. Thanks!

Idyllic stay! The house is simple, nice and functional. The garden is sublime and beautifully maintained. The view is breathtaking! We spent 4 wonderful days resting in peace, reading and swimming in the peaceful pool. We didn't want to leave! Note that the location is wild so far from everything, you have to plan 30 minutes by car to access the shops. But it's really worth it! Thank you for the enchanted parenthesis!

I had a lovely time in Villefort, the lake is very nice and Véronique's apartment is well located to get there. I would definitely recommend this apartment and its host.

Their availability, responsiveness and sympathy were unparalleled. Beautiful surroundings, the accommodation is peaceful. We had a dream weekend. I would highly recommend it.

Angelique's place is a perfect forest getaway. We loved the peace and quiet of being out of the city, so relaxing. The house was perfect - matches the listing exactly, but was even bigger than the photos show and so beautifully decorated. Angelique was the best Airbnb host I have ever had, met us on arrival and gave us so many great tips, hiking trails and recommendations - we're still using them on our travels beyond Cevennes. thank you for your (& Dominque's) kindness and hospitality. Only note for other guests would be to make sure you have a suitable vehicle for gravel roads / narrow windy mountain roads. Thank you for welcoming us into your home, was such a special space. We just wish it was closer to Australia!
