Herrestad is like a green oasis in the middle of an agricultural area and close to Sweden's largest freshwater lake. Wildlife is abundant, both in terms of birdlife and deer. Often you can see both deer and elk in the garden. Now life out in nature has also been expanded with wild boars. In the spring, the beautiful apple trees bloom and the houses are surrounded by several different kinds of beautiful deciduous trees.

Here you will find everything you can expect for a cozy stay with modern amenities! The associated land around the cottage has been recreated like the old pastures and today cows graze in the meadows. Lakefront, modern and newly-renovated accommodation with its own terrace and garden. 700m to Lake Vänern (EU's largest lake), 500m to nature reserve Hammars udde which offers beautiful nature, rich bird life, nice hiking trails, burial grounds from the Iron Age and a Viking Age "domarring" (ring-shaped stone wall). You will also find Hammarö Archipelago Museum on the outskirts of the headland, which offers a unique collection of objects from the old Vänern fishing and an exhibition about life on the lighthouses in Lake Vänern.

Private small cottage of 52 m2 + 25 m2 loft and large terrace with outdoor hot tub for 6 people. Very modern and nice accommodation for yourself with the host in their own house on the property. Private parking space with room for 3 cars. Directly adjacent to the lake and 12 km by car to the large square in Karlstad. Small oak with electric motor is available if desired. If you have your own boat with you, you can put it by the jetty. In summer, you can borrow a smaller boat with an electric motor (see picture)

Welcome to a charming cottage in the middle of nature, surrounded by greenery, with the lake sparkling next door, and mornings with birdsong. A place for those who want to relax, hike in the forest, stroll in the sand or enjoy peace and quality of life. You often have the area to yourself, even if nearby residents visit the beach on sunny days. The beach is spacious and the cottage is located, so you maintain peace even when others visit the beach. There is another small cottage in the area.

Accommodation at Råtorp

Welcome to peaceful Råtorp. Located about 3 km from Karlstad city center. The residence is located on the ground floor with its own entrance. 160 cm bed and a sofa bed with two seats each. Bus stop is 1-2 minutes' walk from the accommodation that takes you into town in 7 minutes. The bus line also goes all the way up to Karlstad University. With a 15-minute walk across the new bridge, you can easily get to Löfberg's purple arena. The property has a free parking space and Wi-Fi.

Grämyren Bed&Box

Rural, quiet location just outside Karlstad, fields and forest with wildlife. Possibility to rent a box and bring a horse. Horses, cats & rabbits are in the yard. Accommodation in a 23 sqm cabin. A 140 cm bed, an 80 cm bed and a sofa that can be used for sleeping. Small kitchenette for simple cooking, stovetop, fridge, microwave & coffeemaker. Dining area for two people/work area. Färjestads B&B is a Bed and Breakfast in Karlstad within walking distance of Löfbergs Arena and Färjestadstravet and approximately 3,5 km from the city centre. Free parking is avaliable in the street near to the B&B entrance. Charging for an electric car can be borrowed at cost price so you can wake up with a fully charged car. Free WiFi, large garden with many seating options, bicycles avaliable to borrow. A total of four beds and a cot are avaliable.

The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.

You will stay in your own cottage in our garden with a patio in the evening sun. There is self check-in with a key that is in the key cabinet with a code. You park the car in front of the garage and there is the possibility to charge your electric car. The accommodation is located about 5 km from the city center.

We have a little cottage in our garden, situated near the centre of the town Säffle. There are two beds, a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, two stove plates and microwave if you want to cook on your own, and newly rebuilt bathroom with shower. See pictures. The surroundings are nice, close to shopping and strolling along the river Byälven. You find lake Vänern in 6km distance, where you summertime can take a bath.
