A super gite with lots of character and a superb position - 2 minute walk to cafe/restaurants and shops but still peaceful and secluded. Absolutely charming village with a number of walks straight out from the centre. The gite is ideal for groups who want a bit of privacy as there are 3 distinct bedroom/living areas with separate entrances. The basement bedrooms do not have internal access to the main house and as mentioned in previous reviews there is dampness in some of the rooms and Wi-Fi is available in just the main kitchen and living room. It would be great for a number of couples or 3 or 4 families with children. Be aware that the main house and basement bedrooms are separated from the pool area by a public footpath. So there is not a ‘flow’ between the main property and pool. The path isn’t often used so it didn’t matter to us but very young children would need to be accompanied. We had a great stay and loved the area.

Very nice cottage full of charm and typical. Excellent location in the beautiful village of Saint-Montan. Very nice terraces.

We found this house ideal for this weekend with our children. We enjoyed the high quality of the accommodation. This tastefully renovated house is very comfortable with a maximum of amenities. Just one thing, we would have liked a 160 bed. The large windows overlooking the valley allow you to make the most of the outdoors. The pool temperature was perfect. In short, everything was perfect, a big thank you to Sébastien who is very friendly and who was very responsive to our requests. We recommend it. Pierre

Véronique and Arnaud welcomed us to a cottage even prettier than the photos: very clean, functional, excellent bedding, bright, incredible views and close to all services (local producers, bakery, grocery store, etc.). Exceptional base for local hikes. Attentive owners. Everything we were looking for…We'll be back!

Julien's place is a privileged, timeless place. Julien is a perfect host, who knew how to be there when we needed him. Good tips and very pleasant, he does everything to ensure that the stay goes as smoothly as possible.
