Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Sabaragamuwa Province

This place is definitely one of the best during our trip to Sri Lanka. The road there is very bumpy and I hope they will fix it soon, and the place needs a small touch up but, the location, the rooms and the lovely staff working there are making the nights we stayed there memorable. I will definitely go back and I give them a great recommendation.

Si vous cherchez un pied-à-terre dans un lieu à la fois sauvage et sécurisant, le domaine de Rohan va vous combler. Outre le cadre exceptionnel comportant un spot de baignade a moins de 50m de la maison, la chambre était spacieuse, propre et doté d'équipements très récents. De plus, Rohan est de très bon conseil concernant tout type d'activité au Sri Lanka, et s'est montré extrêmement serviable pour tout type de requête.

Depending on the type of person you are, you could either love this spot or not. We LOVED it as it had INCREDIBLY helpful staff who communicated well and couldn't do more to help fulfill any of our requests. The breakfast was delicious and an abundance of food provided in one meal. It is very safe and easy to go on walks around the area. It is private and located in the middle of tea fields. If you want hustle and bustle of a town, then this is quite far out of that. If you want modern and new, then this is not for you. But if you want peace, calm and lovely surroundings with cooler weather, then absolutely. We loved our stay and were very comfortable. The host organized our transfer from the station to the accommodation, and he was outstanding - a tour guide as well as the driver - he told us many stories of the area - so knowledgeable!! There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance - we went to Frostbite for dinner - and quirky place with really good food!!

我从来没有觉得一个小乡村特色公寓可以如此美丽，舒适，方便。出门右手乔治亚河，左手边城镇，商店，市场。老板人也很好，我们四点起床，五点要出发，老板和伙计很早就帮我们准备好早饭。呆在那里都不想走了………下次来绝对待在这里。

Wir hatten eine Nacht in der Unterkunft gebucht und die Begrüßung war super lieb und freundlich. Wir wurden mit einem leckeren Bananen Smoothie empfangen. Man muss jedoch genau auf seiner Karten App schauen. Es kann passieren das man über Googl-Maps hinter das Haus geleitet wird. Jedoch muss man am besten einfach auf der Hauptstraße bleiben und dann findet man es schnell.

Heerlijk verblijf in de natuur. 25 minuten van Kandy, dus dichtbij de stad, maar wel lekker middenin de rust. Een aanrader!

The place and the view is fantastic. The picrures (and probably no pictures) can't do justice to the beautiful view. The staff is very helpful and nice as well. They helped us with everything and even arrangered a whole day of activities for us. I strongly recommend this place.

Part of the Grand Udawalawae Safari Resort and very nice place it is surrounded by mature forest. Quiet and away from the main road. Restaurant and bar on site. Swimming pool was nice. Great staff.

Unfortunately the cabin I booked was unavailable so was placed in the room upstairs above the restaurant. Would have preferred a more secluded space but the stay was still magical and for the first night I was the only person staying on the property. The location of the hotel is amazing, with 360 degree breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Sunrise and sunsets amazing. Sumeth organised and took me on a guided tour of the local area including tea picking, visiting a tea factory, gem mine, temple and waterfall. Sumeth was an exceptional guide, spoke very good English and was very friendly and personable. The restaurant was nicely decorated and staff very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty but western focussed (would be nice to see some more Sri Lankan options). However they did have a complimentary Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and a large serving. Overall highly recommended. Very relaxing, peaceful and unique experience.

Had a great stay! Would highly recommend staying, and when you do, take the local dinner!! I almost cried because of the flavors. It was so good.

The stay was really great and the accommodation was stunning. The location is perfect for the safari and they were happy to help organise and answer any questions we had. There isn't a lot to do in the immediate area so the resort was lovely to chill and relax in around other activities. They were also helpful in providing a tuktuk to a nearby restaurant and friendly throughout our stay - would recommend!

The place was so calm and quiet . It was a place made for relaxation. We enjoyed the stay very much. What we loved the most was the nature friendly environment . The place was cleaned and maintained well by the caretaker. We had all the facilities .

Beautifully designed place, great view, its the closest location to the entrance of Sinharaja Forest reserve. The guides were friendly and skillful in spotting creatures, the pool was a great solution for chilling after treks. The logistics of the area might cause delays in service, but Prasat and the friendly staff try full heartedly to compensate. Advise to travellers, u should put ur shoes inside ur rooms at night, as stray dogs might damage them. It's out of the control of staff. Also Dogs may cause baby monkeys to panic and fall off trees, so discouraging them from accompanying you into the forest is better.

Alp took very good care of us, was so helpful, stayed with us throughout our Sri Lanka trip and was a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend her place to stay! P.s. - She is a great driver!!

Truly a magical experience. To go into too much detail would be ruining the adventure, but William and his team have carved out a slice of paradise that we will remember for a long time.

Sehr schönes AirBnb. Es sah 1:1 aus wie auf den Fotos! Check-In war einfach und unkompliziert, danach gab es direkt einen Wilkommens-Drink. Nach Kandy sind es mit dem TukTuk 10-20 min (wir sind selbst gefahren, ein einheimischer ist da wahrscheinlich schneller 😂). Man ist also in der Nähe der Stadt, kann aber trotzdem dem Trubel entfliehen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und gastfreundlich und Helfen einem gerne. Gerne wieder!

This is such an amazing accommodation. We loved that it is in the middle of the jungle. The place is far from cities and there are plenty of animals (I can only recommend to wear the socks over the trousers to avoid leeches). But we really enjoyed to immerse ourselves into nature. Karina was also really friendly and helpful. We had some dinner and breakfast there and she also helped us organising a jungle tour. I can only recommend to stay with her.

We had a great time at the campsite. Arrived on the bus around 9 and Kosala picked us up and brought us to the site. 450Rs for delicious fried rice when we arrived. Raised tent has 2 mattresses, pillows, a sheet, mosquito net, and electric fan with extra outlet if you need to charge phone. We brought our own towel but some might be available upon request. Complimentary Sri Lankan buffet for breakfast followed by the rafting. Complimentary tuk tuk pick up and drop off. We were on the water for about an hour total and got to spend some of it swimming in the river. Class 2/3 rapids so great for kids or first time rafters. Great time!

This is a very peaceful Airbnb with a wonderful view of the river and surrounding trees. The room was modern and spacious. The cooking class with Malika was informative and the food, absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
