Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sabaragamuwa Province

We felt right at home. Place is very calm and clean. This is the place you want to go if you want to relax and enjoy true peacefulness of the nature. It's surrounded by green mountains and facing beautiful valley views. Sirisena and his wife prepared variety of tasty meals for us. We'll definitely be back soon.

The property is way better and scenic than seen in photos. Our stay was brief but fulfilling. Nice place with necessary amenities. Sujeewa is outstanding— helped us in many ways including delivering us dinner in late night. Don’t miss the sunrise!!

Nuwara eliya has always been close to my heart but Harshinis place proved to be the cherry on top. It was impeccably neat, ample space and cozy. Heating facilities are also sufficient. This is the perfect place to wind down and relax and forget all the worldly problems. Very close to the town as well. Master bedroom was super spacious. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay and Harshini even found us a really good cook. She’s a great host and helped us every step of the way , making our stay wonderful

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

Insanely nice staff and great facility in the middle of the Jungle. But it was also a bit difficult to get there. Especially great was the natural pool with small waterfall and the best massage we've ever had. We'll be happy to come back.

This place is a nice homestay. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable and our landlord was a very nice lady. We had a very good breakfast in her dining room and this is an experience that you will not get at a normal hotel. Thank you Cecilia Cottage for the hospitality and also for the nice and interesting conversations we had.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The host was very responsive and went out of his way to make us comfortable. The workers on site were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen had all what we needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were more than what we expected. Clean and comfortable place and I recommend the place wholeheartedly. 5 min walk to the Katugasthota city center. 30 min car ride to the Kandy city center. Most banks and shops are just within reach. If you need a Tuk, they are just outside the main gate.

Absoutely loved the house, the location was perfect. 2 minute walk to Lake Gregory with great activities to do. Chandrakumar the housekeeper was super helpful and even had dinner prepared after our long journey on check in day. Would highly recommend.

The place is beautiful and green. It has been superbly designed and decorated and we loved our stay there. Rajan the caretaker is wonderful and ensured all our needs were taken care of and cooked amazing meals including an outdoor barbecue. The place was kept very clean despite its size and had several cozy nooks where we could all sit together. It was an overall very well thought out and equally well maintained bungalow. We would highly recommend it as a place to relax when in Newark Eliya.

Charini’s place is lovely, she was very accommodating to our needs and there is a caretaker available 24/7. Views are spectacular and not too far from town. Living room is comfy but it is cold in this area at night so opt for the additional heaters!

A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty
