Smoking friendly vacation rentals in San Juan

This place was a nice getaway. The neighborhood was safe & it was easy to access the apartment. The airport is literally 6 mins away & it’s not a far drive to other attractions. The roosters in the neighborhood will wake you up around 4 a.m. so I suggest having a white noise throughout the night. Overall a nice, comfortable place to stay with very responsive hosts. Something that is helpful to know is that the hot water is actually turned on by turning the knob to the middle, not all the way to the left where the “H” is. I messaged the host and they were able to help with that. There is a peculiar smell in the bathroom. Either the floor or the rug in the bathroom should be replaced possibly, but the apartment wasn’t bad at all. A nice place for the price you pay or for a short trip. Great hosts ! There were others in the apartments attached to the house, but no one was too loud.

Giancarlo’s place matched the description fully! He was very responsive, and left clear instructions for us which we appreciated. This is a great space to make your home base on your trip. We enjoyed having the ability to do laundry and a private place to sit outside as well. The bathroom was a great size with a nice shower. The linens were clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was clean and had all necessary utensils to cook a meal and clean up. Looking forward to staying here again soon on our next trip down! 😊

Irma is a great host, always responsive and super helpful. The house was very welcoming after a long travel day and had many amenities for us to use. The neighborhood can feel like a lot at the beginning. It’s lively, energetic, and yes—sometimes loud. Between the music and cars passing by and general buzz of people living their lives, it’s not exactly a quiet retreat. But give it a few days, and the charm starts to seep in. We sure did enjoy being woken by the rooster and birds. My family and I sure did enjoy everything the house had to offer. I definitely recommend booking with Irma. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

After being stranded and having no place to go on our first day at Puerto Rico, Luis came to our rescue with his beautiful airbnb. We were right in the center of everything, food, Walgreens, the beach, and gas stations. I feel like we got the best view of all, with a very comfortable and welcoming balcony.

Manuel was very helpful and quick to respond. The check in process went extremely smooth and I loved the little addition of the welcome sign!

My son and I had a great time staying at this home. It was exactly as described, clean and small just enough for the 2 people who are staying. We did unfortunately experience the island wide blackout while in PR. Altagracia reached out to make sure we were okay and that she was available if we needed anything. We appreciated that very much. She responds quickly and is the sweetest. She gave us so many recommendations and the few that we tried did not disappoint at all. Overall my son and I were super comfortable and loved every moment of our stay.

Highly recommend. Place is great & in safe location. Clean & received quick responses from the host. They provided beach gear, including towels, chairs, toys, life jackets, a floating mat, snorkeling gear, & a beach tent. Additional conveniences include a laundromat and mini market with luggage storage downstairs. The only downside was non-functional WiFi during our 3-night stay, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The Airbnb was very clean and had comfortable beds. It was great for our big family. The neighborhood felt safe and wasn't too far from tourist destinations. For the price, this Airbnb was amazing.

Me and a group of friends stayed at Reiner’s lovely home and absolutely enjoyed our stay! It was our first time on the island and having the location be super close to the airport was perfect! You would think that there would be too much air traffic noise but absolutely not! Our favorite part of the house was definitely the upper deck that allowed us to relax and take in the weather throughout the day!Just around the corner were some food shops and a surf shop as well! The beach is about 10 minutes from the home and old San Juan is 20 minutes. I would 100% stay at Reniers home again for our next visit to Puerto Rico!

The home was beautiful in a very friendly neighborhood and close to everything! The pool was such a great touch for our girls trip. Although the whole island had a black out when we visited we didn’t even noticed, cause we were just hanging out by the pool. The home does have a generator so there was no stress at all. Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal. Host was so sweet and super helpful. People mentioned the cats but that’s normal all over the island the cat did not bother us at all they were really friendly and super cute❤️. Overall such a great place to experience the culture and such an amazing stay! Saving for future trip for sure!

Eva has a lovely place, very spacious for all my friends to enjoy! The airbnb had everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay and Eva was very responsive and helpful regarding our inquiries. Although the entrance to the neighborhood created some challenges with various gates, codes, and keys, we were able to navigate it well enough. Would definitely come again!

Great location—close to lots of great restaurants and more importantly, the beach! The bed was big and the apartment has the bare minimum. It could use a few more cooking tools. I had to purchase food that either required minimum cooking or just to heat up. I was working remotely, and the internet was strong during most of my meetings. If you don’t need much, this apartment is perfect!

My daughter and I just loved your place!! And Old San Juan!! You place is in a perfect location…so easy to walk to all the local restaurants and sights to see. We loved the terrace! Being on the 4th floor was very doable, as a matter of fact it was nice to get a little extra walk in after eating so much delicious food!! BJ was extremely responsive and helpful the whole week. Can’t wait to come back!

I was 100% pleased with Ray’s condo and amazed at what a wonderful host he was. He was so attentive and answered all of my questions through email immediately. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. The location was incredible right on the Condado strip. My daughters and I felt safe and had a great experience walking up and down the strip going to all of the great restaurants and having the beach within a 5-10 minute walk. I will definitely be contacting Ray the next time we visit Puerto Rico, and I suggest you do the same!

Magda was an excellent host and made us feel right at home. She personally welcomed us to the apartment and showed us around. She was very accessible and quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The location was a dream - literally 20 steps from the beach. We will definitely return.

Javier’s place was just as described on his listing. Very clean, comfortable, and located in a bustling area with lots to do. Definitely a little on the noisy side but didn’t bother us (noise died down at around 2am). There seemed to be a ceiling leak in the kitchen, but again didn’t bother us because we weren’t using the kitchen. Javier was very responsive and accommodating.

My stay was fantastic. Tony's places never disappoint. This place was very clean, spacious, near everything, plenty of towels and linen, kitchen had everything we needed . I mean what was there not to love. I will definitely love to book again in the near future.
