Come and stay in our ecologically renovated stone farm house surrounded by a terraced garden and beautiful views of undulating countryside. La Prade is set in an incredibly peaceful area of the Lot. There is a huge selection of walks from the gîte using ancient pathways, crossing brooks, streams and waterfalls. The Tolerme lake nearby is the perfect place for a day out, with a supervised swimming area for children, water sports, restaurants and a path around the lake, which is buggy friendly.

I built my wooden house entirely and finished it in early 2024. I offer it for rent during the high summer season but also during the other 3 seasons which each offer their advantages. The creation of the sauna with its wood stove is to be able to enjoy the swimming pool in all seasons. (paid option) The swimming pool is not overlooked and offers a beautiful view of the valley and its natural landscape. This valley is also home to the village of Conques and its magnificent abbey church.

New, shared pool in the garden 17 km from Figeac, pleasant apartment furnished in the former stable of a farmhouse, at a place called Lacabroulie (Lacabrolie on Google!) It consists of a bedroom, equipped kitchen, living room, shower room and separate toilet. It has breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The place is quiet, preserved and secluded. Dishes, cooking essentials, bed sheets, towels...

Haven of greenery and peace

This barn was built by my grandfather after the Second World War. Stone, wood and lime were the main materials used. It is with a lot of heart and work that we restored this barn with respect for the premises, the environment and our ancestors. For the paintings, I made lime-based whitewash, stucco and tadelakt. The ceiling beams are colored with walnut stain, covered with natural hard oil.
