Our cozy 25 m² holiday home with garden and barbecue area is surrounded by nature, directly on the Saale and on the Saale bike path in the vineyards of the spa town of Bad Kösen in the Burgenland district. From here you can quickly reach interesting excursion destinations such as Naumburg Cathedral, our numerous castles or Pforta Monastery, as well as historical places and larger cities such as Jena, Leipzig or Weimar. Here you can relax, enjoy your vacation and recover from everyday life.

A few minutes' walk from the main train station, it is located in the most beautiful district of Untermhaus between the river and the city forest! All pictures hung in the apartment are originals by local, regional and European artists and can be purchased! A fully automatic washer-dryer will be purchased for the next rental of 1 month or longer.

Enjoy the quiet life in this centrally located accommodation. It is only 250m to walk to the market square in Lanwegen. The very good Pizzeria Napoli is only 200m away on foot. The old Ilm cycle path and the Ilm are right on the doorstep. The new Ilm cycle path on the old railway embankment is only 300m away. This is also where pure nature begins, whether on foot or by bike. Your bike is safe in the lockable bike shed. You reached the Rennsteig after 9 km.

Highway and the cities of Weimar, Erfurt and Gera are quickly accessible, as are the hiking trails around Jena and the Saale. The city center of Jena can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we operate as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The yard offers space to romp and relax. But walking across the drained reservoir is possible and very interesting.

A bed under the star tent! If you enter the yurt, you are immediately enchanted by the unique sense of space of this completely round dwelling. Unlike in the square rooms we used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, sheltered and somehow immediately comfortable. It's hard to describe in words what makes the fascination of a  yurt - you have to experience it for yourself!
