idyllic house on the Lower Rhine in Kevelaer

The lovingly renovated house is "a bit like before" with large living room-kitchen, fireplace, sofa and three bedrooms. In the courtyard there is a seating area with BBQ and parking spaces for bicycles. We only use it as a passage. A supermarket in the neighborhood, to the pedestrian zone 500 meters, to the train station 1.4 km. Families are welcome with us. The house has baby gates at the stairs. The stairs are steep. I speak English, a little French, and my husband a little Dutch.

We rent a separate, approx. 60 m² loft apartment / house with private entrance in the annex of our more than 100 year old house to guests who want to stay "Other"! The apartment is self-sufficient + separate from the main house. A private terrace or private garden part belong to the apartment. Around the house are forests and fields, here you can walk or cycle on the Römer Lippe Route. The Ruhr area (Duisburg, Essen) is close by. Supermarket, pizzeria + pharmacy are on site.

De vogels die de dag inluiden en de vogels die de nacht inluiden. Je overziet het landschap vanuit een hoger perspectief. Je kijkt even op een andere manier naar de wereld, van bovenaf. In een boom slapen, letterlijk tussen de takken slapen is een onbeschrijfelijke ervaring.

Cozy, modern, apartment in Duisburg/Nord

We are a 4-person household with daughter and grandma in the house! My mother Sigrid is a co-host, cleaning fairy, and caretaker in a person without whom there would be nothing going on here. ;-) Since 2019, a small dog from animal welfare has also been included. We've had so many great guests, and look forward to seeing you soon! We observe the corona rules and clean particularly thoroughly. Sanitize. Check in by distance!
