  • We had a great stay! The communication was great and was given simple and detailed directions. The welcome pack / breakfast - included local fresh bread, a lovely touch that created a memory. Comfortable bed and accommodation. Super cosy! Beautifully thought out ... We received a warm welcome and were given so much privacy, which we appreciated. Our dog was welcome, which we very much appreciated. I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

  • Very convenient base for visiting Stonehenge and also Avebury and Old Sarum near Salisbury. Easy check-in and friendly helpful hosts. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, just take care not to bump head on sloping ceilings and take quick showers. For people with mobility issues the steep access stairs would not be suitable. A lovely breakfast hamper was provided with homemade bread which was a lovely thoughtful touch. No TV signal but a good selection of DVDs to relax with on a winter evening. We ate one night at The Boot Inn in Bewick St James about 10 minutes away, the food was good and fairly priced. The pub was very quiet on the evening we ate there but that might have been due to the imminent arrival of storm Ciara. Would stay again if visiting the area.

  • Lovely, clean and well laid out accommodation for our weekend visit to Stonehenge ( only a few minutes drive away) and Salisbury. The communication with Fiona was great and she provided clear instruction on how to get to the house and check in which made it very easy. We appreciated the extra touches of homemade fresh bread and the offer for a late check out for a Sunday lie in. Would highly recommend!

    Alex2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and nicely decorated accommodation. Lovely to have fresh bread and a bit of breakfast provided for the morning. Also easy parking. Second person had a slightly cold shower but otherwise all was good.

  • The accommodation was spotless! We enjoyed the basket of snack upon arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay near Stonehenge.

A light and airy spacious Shepherds hut set in a beautiful English garden adjacent to a horse paddock. Great for a couple wanting to get away for a short break in the countryside and ideal for visiting Stonehenge 15 min by car, Bath 50mins and Salisbury 25 mins. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Informal eating at the Italian owned Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards across the road from the address. Available for Christmas and New Year.
The hut was built to order by Plain Huts based in our village. It is the best. Beautifully designed, skilfully crafted using oak for the subframe and red cedar cladding. It is fully insulated and double glazed and enjoys underfloor central heating, Whatever the weather the hut provides a warm and snug environment all year round. The flooring is engineered oak. It has an ensuite ( with a compost toilet) Furniture includes cupboard and a sofa bed , two chairs and a pull down table. The kitchen has a sink. fridge and induction hob . A shower cubicle and changing facilities are located down a pretty path in a nearby outhouse.
The village of Tilshead boasts some great walks around it including the “Imber Way” a long distance footpath. Salisbury Plain has the largest area of chalk grassland in Europe and is home to a host of wildlife, including the largest population of skylarks in the country. The village is lucky to enjoy dark night skies. In September 1914 a small black American bear cub , who was owned by a Canadian Army vet , lived in a camp near the village. The cub called Winnie after Winnipeg went on to become the inspiration for the children’s story character “ Winnie the Pooh.”
  • We had a lovely relaxing break in Frank and Sarah's gorgeous shepherd's hut. Sarah couldn't have been a better host; she was so lovely and the breakfast this morning was amazing! I had the best night's sleep I've had in months and it was beautiful waking up to birdsong. We'll be back!

    Emily2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this stay was wonderful - from the beautifully appointed shepherd’s hut to the generous yet easy-going hospitality offered by Frank and Sarah. Tilshead is a quiet village on the edge of Salisbury Plain and yet very close to lots of well-known sights and landmarks, as well as scenic walking countryside when the weather suits. When it’s cold, wet and windy then the underfloor heating (and wood-burning stove on the veranda) keep things nice and toasty. And the brownies and breakfast are every bit as good as the other reviewers promised. Can’t wait for a second visit!

    Em2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute! Wonderful hosts.

    Jordi2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • I booked this as part of a birthday present for my fiancé and we had a wonderful stay! The hut was beautifully decorated, located in a lovely little village Tilshead. Frank met us on the first and explained to us the amazing history behind the area, including the wonderful story of Winnie the Pooh! Arrived to delicious home made brownies and a lovely welcome from their dog Daisy (we love dogs)! The hut had underfloor heating so no issue with being cold. We went to the Rose and Crown pub which is a 2 min walk and had a lovely pizza and drink, very affordable. Frank then made us a lovely continental breakfast the following morning, it was delicious and was very generous! Overall amazing stay near the countryside! Great host thank you Frank!

    Kayleigh2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect little escape to be quiet and get really relaxed in the countryside. Frank and Sarah were lovely and very generous hosts. They brought us breakfast every morning and sorted us out with a fire pit. They even gave us a lift to the station on our way home!

    Amy2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, brilliant hosts who went out of there way to make us fee comfortable and a great recommendation for some food down the road which my and partner thoroughly enjoyed!

    Louis2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay, in a fun shepherds hut. would definitely stay again.

    Lulu2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Frank and Sarah are warm and lovely hosts with fab suggestions for the local area. The hut was spotless, decorated so beautifully and had everything you could need. The location is incredibly stunning and peaceful and the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. What set this place apart for me though were the little touches; home made brownies (oh my word!), a homemade anniversary present, lanterns lit along the path for us in the evening, breakfast in bed and so much more! Would definitely recommend.

  • I had a great stay here. The room is well equipped with kettle, fridge, microwave and en suite. The house is ideally located in Wilton and Corinne and Mick were great hosts, allowing me to wash my dirty cycling kit, check out later than planned and overall were really nice and friendly people. Definitely recommend.

  • I had a great stay at Corrine’s place. Corrine, her husband Mick and their family were so warm, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they didn’t make me feel like I was intruding. I was given a key to the house and was able to come and go as I needed to. The space was great, really clean and cosy with a really comfortable bed and great shower. They provided breakfast cereal, a fridge of milk and water, and the provision to heat and eat a meal and have a variety of hot drinks. I would definitely recommend staying at Corrine’s. Thank you.

  • Really fantastic place with nice warm country feel. Natalie and her Mom Chris were very kind and welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. They also catered for our 2 year old daughter by providing a small cot for her to sleep in. Jus as good as advertised and very close to Stonehenge which was an added plus.

  • Natalie is super kind, and her mom helps look after the place and is very caring and attentive. Natalie's communication is great. I have an allergy to something that was at the flat- it wouldn't bother many people, but I had to leave, and Natalie was very understanding and supportive. The space is spacious, accommodating, beautiful, and represented a great value. I would recommend it to others.

Our home is in a quiet village location, 5 minutes drive from Stonehenge Visitors Centre on the edge of Salisbury plain. A car is essential, and you can park on our drive. We are husband, wife and well behaved dog. We will be there to greet you, and will be available all the time you are with us. Ours is a lovely family home, and you will have access to most of it. We will provide tea/coffee and toast. We are happy to help you plan your time and advise on places to visit.
Our house is a bit like the Tardis, (reference Dr Who tv show) bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The bedroom and bathroom is for your private use and the bedroom has recently been decorated.
We live in a quiet, rural area. There is a late night Co-op (mini-supermarket) in Shrewton and once a week a fish and chip van in The Plume of Feathers pub car park. As you can see, all mod cons! The A303 is 10 minutes away. Amesbury has large supermarkets, pubs and restaurants and is 6 miles away. The M3 and M4 are about an hour away respectively.
  • Extremely friendly owners, beautiful house, lovely dog, everything you need in your room, and in the kitchen. Can't think about better place to stay in this area. I was feeling as good as in my own home.

  • Go to Christine's house and her husband. Very welcome, very good location to visit Stonehenge. Clean, very good breakfast, I recommend this rental to all.

    Karine2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Christine and Eddie are amazing hosts and made me and my son feel so welcome. We have had a wonderful stay with them and can recommend them wholeheartedly. Our room was lovely and had Sky TV, so my son was in his element! It was also great to have access to breakfast when we needed it. They are both very thoughtful and helpful, nothing is too much trouble (and their gorgeous dog Daisy is an absolute delight!).

    Helen2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • The most beautiful place we have been through AirBnB. The house is sparkling clean, quiet and decorated to top standards. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes drive from Stonehenge, ideal for an early or late visit to the site to beat the crowd. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, worth to spend a few days just to explore. Finally, Christine is adorable, always available for any need or question and provides excellent breakfast in the morning. You really could not ask for more. Totally recommended.

  • A lovely airbnb with a sapcious bedroom, great access to facilities and a nice clean bathroom. We were well looked after during our one night stay.

    Erina2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spacious, comfy and clean room. Christine was a wonderful host greeting us with an ice cold drink after a long drive. Perfect for a stopover when we were driving from Cornwall, but also a great location for Stonehenge if you wanted. Thank you Christine!

    Kate2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Christine and Eddie are such a great couple! We loved talking with them about life in England vs the USA. Their house is lovely, and we rested well on the comfortable bed. They also provided breakfast and plenty of tea, which was a great start to our morning. Their house is a very short drive from Stonehenge. Be sure to visit the stone circle at Avebury as well (about 30 minutes from Christine's house).

Light, airy newly decorated bedroom suitable for 1 or 2 guests, with en-suite. The bed can be configured as a single, double or twin. Bus stop right outside the house for a regular bus route into town. Local Co-Op 2 minutes walk away and 20 minutes walk to the train station, Stonehenge bus tour and into town. There's also riverside walks close by. We can recommend places to eat and interesting places to visit, having lived in the area for 14 years.
You are very welcome to our 4 bedroom semi-detached house, with free parking, in a residential area only 20 minutes walk from the town centre. This is an excellent base to explore Salisbury and the South West from on holiday or to have a restful haven during a business trip. The bedroom is located in a newly refurbished downstairs with its own bathroom (with shower); separate from the other bedrooms. The TV has Virgin Media channels and you are welcome to use Netflix.
  • The space is really nice. Good size, clean, comfortable. Bus stop right in front of the house is very convenient. I never actually met Matthew and Emma but their son checked me in and he was very friendly and helpful. Great deal for the price.

    Alicia2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly family and a clean, tidy room.

    Richard2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew and Emma's house is a gorgeous place for a short or long stay. With a bus stop right outside and buses every 10 minutes it is super easy to access the Salisbury city centre and stone henge (if that's your aim). The room itself is lovely - a big comfy bed, loads of storage space, a clean and private ensuite and an incredibly thoughtful tea station with tea ingredients, porridge for the morning and a kettle. There are even a TV, DVD player and a load of lovely books. Emma was a lovely, friendly host ready to welcome me even with my late-night transport issues and I really loved my entire time in their house!

    Kaitlyn2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. The bed was soft and cozy. The room is small but it has everything is needed. They were very kind with me.

My house is situated on a quite estate in the village of Ludgershall - Not a beautiful chocolate box village, but it is a convenient place to stay especially if you are not a fan of narrow winding lanes! However country lanes are but a stones throw away to lead you to some very pretty villages. I would describe my home as open to all who want a country break without being in the middle of nowhere or a Monday to Friday resting place with easy access to Tidworth, Perham Down or Andover.
The bedroom is on the first floor and there is a bathroom on the same floor for sole use of guests - I have a double room also The room has a 3ft bed and is north facing but still quite light, comfortable and adequately furnished, There is no television in this room, however there is an excellent Wifi connection so no problem watching programmes on a laptop/tablet/phone Towels are provided
My house is at the end of a cul-de-sac next to farmland with a footpath right behind the fence and woods just a few minutes away with options for short or long walks. Ludgershall has a church, two pubs, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a couple of take-aways and two supermarkets. It is 8 miles from the market town of Andover which has several restaurants, pubs and a cinema. The historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury are 45mins and 30mins drive respectively from Ludgershall and the charming towns of Marlborough, Stockbridge and Hungerford are about a 30mins drive away. The World Heritage Site of Stonehenge is approx 15 miles from the house and the Neolithic Avebury stone circles are 16 miles away. Further afield are Southampton, Portsmouth, The New Forest and the Isle of Wight

(Mon-Fri available, message for prices) A double room in a cosy apartment with lots of natural light, situated within walking distance of Amesbury town centre, approximately a 5 minute drive to the historic site Stonehenge and 15 minutes from medieval Salisbury city. Here you can find Salisbury cathedral which is home to one of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta. Ideal for exploring the local area due to its close proximity to the A303 and A345 and is close to many skydiving centres.
A quiet, clean and tidy home with lots of light and cosy feel to the place.

  • Really nice place; good location esp for Stonehenge ;0) fast and accurate communication. Thank you Hanyan

    Miriam2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place and ideally located for my needs, great ‘comms’ with Hanyan & Lee. Couple of things which could be an issue, due to the positioning of the toilet, the shower door only opens half way, so if your fairly wide then getting in might be an issue, the other is sound proofing, or lack off, however this is highlighted. Great value for money......

    Ken2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

    Krystyna2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • I came in sort of last minute after exploring the Jurassic Coast and deciding to visit Stonehenge. I requested to book thinking that it may take a while for a response which isn't the best thing when you're traveling in rapid style. I was pleased that Hanyan responded nearly right away I requested my booking! She wanted to make sure I would be okay with them having little ones in the house as there would be a bit of noise from them, which I found very thoughtful and accommodating. The is perfect and quaint, the room has a private entrance in the rear of the house and a wall is shared between you and their living area, which is not a problem at all. I arrived late so Lee had even had the door unlocked for me already so I wouldn't have to fumble to get in with the keypad because it was dark, very thoughtful. It was a great, comfortable space with a nice big desk, a clean and comfortable bed with outlets right beside it, and a nice bathroom and shower with a great hot water supply. Hanyan was extremely accommodating making sure everything was fine with my stay, she's a very nice woman and I rather enjoyed listening to the kids play at times on the other side of the wall. They have a great backyard which the room opens directly into. I had a great stay for the night! The location in proximity to Stonehenge is great and also a perfect location to get to Salisbury to explore the Cathedral and the Medieval Towne. I highly recommend Hanyan and Lee's place!

  • Hanyan&Lee’s place was cute, charming, and extremely clean. It was very conveniently located near Stonehenge in a small village. They provided us with a book recommending local attractions. They responded ultra-fast — we booked day-of due to a change in travel plans and they were ready for us ASAP. I am so thankful! The bathroom even has a heated towel rack, the bed is comfy, and the garden is cute. The room is entirely private. Would highly recommend!

My home would suit a single guest 18 or over who might be considering visiting or working here and just require some basic accommodation for the night. I am afraid no children or pets are allowed. My box sized room is situated close to the railway station, city centre, Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge.
My room contains a single bed with clean towels/extra bedding, a rail with hangers and bed side lamp. There is Freeview TV and free internet access throughout your stay. Guests are encouraged not to eat food inside the room and it can be locked. Please ask if you require a hair drier or iron.
My property is walking distance of a local supermarket [Sainsburys], lots of restaurants, pubs including Wetherspoons for eating out on a budget, cinema and the Playhouse theatre. There is a Stonehenge bus stop just near the train station.

  • We stayed at the last minute and I wanted something stylish - English stylish I mean… for me a typical house or brick house, which this house was not in the photos. But he had good ratings and was close to Stonehenge. I started to wonder at the arrival - a large open garden with lots of beautiful mature trees, a sitting area welcomed us. Everything harmonized, with feel decorated with English patterns of fabrics, wonderful. Perfect bed. Absolute purity. We also met husband Ben, who waited for us to speak a few words with us. We felt welcomed by the whole family and safe. A typical English breakfast from Elisabeth underlined our overall impression. For me it was a heartfelt thing that I am grateful for. If I go again in this direction, I would be very happy to book Elisabethin and Ben's house well in advance :-). Thank you! We received a very warm welcome, slept in a beautiful, clean and spacious room and there was a delicious home cooked breakfast waiting for us in the morning. Elisabeth and her husband Ben are happy to tell you all about the surroundings and other tips about where to go. Their house is situated in a quiet and friendly little village, near to Stonehenge. We had a great experience and sleep, definitely will be back when we’re in the neighborhood. All the best and say hello from us if you decide to stay here!!

Lovely place to live and close walking distance to the city centre (30-minutes on foot). Great bus route also. There is a small convenience store on the corner and a fish & chip shop and Cooperative just yards away along Wilton road. The Horse and Groom is also along Wilton road and is a nice traditional city pub that serves good food at a good price. Like walking/cycling? We are also only a 1 minute walk from the beautiful village of Lower Bemerton. Here you can pick up the broken bridges walk. A lovely walk about 2. 5 miles to the city centre. Walk through beautiful wooded countryside alongside the water meadows and the river Nadder. Fancy a pint or a spot of lunch? Why not stop en route at the Harnham Mill Inn. A 15th century building with features dating back to 1250. It's here you pick up the town path, a paved footpath that crosses the meadows which boast the fantastic view of the Cathedral that was voted 'Best View in Britain' in a Country Life poll. The path ends at Elizabeth Gardens, a lovely Riverside park within Salisbury's city centre. A great walk for all to enjoy! Other local places you may like to visit: * Driving range for golf enthusiasts is just down the road along Wilton Rd. * Old Sarum Castle. 40 minutes walk through the beautiful countryside. Or a 10 minute car journey. Breathtaking views of the city. *Stonehenge. We are a 30-minute walk away from the train station that offers the Stonehenge bus tour (the only bus tour available in Salisbury).

The (self-contained) Bothy is a separate studio annexe away from the main family house. We provide a microwave but don't have full cooking facilities. The Bothy is cosy and is on the small side if three adults are sharing. We are a family who love to welcome people into our home and enjoy sharing our garden. Stonehenge World Heritage Site and right on the top of Iron Age hill fort, Vespasian's camp. Stonehenge is 5 mins drive. Amesbury is a short walk away with several shops and restaurants.
The Bothy consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a sitting room with pull out sofa bed (please let me know in advance if you would like to use this) and a bathroom with a shower. We have tried to make it ‘home from home’ rather than a hotel. We welcome children if they are happy to sleep on the sofa bed or a travel cot (we ask you to bring your own) can be set up in the sitting room, although space maybe tight. Please let me know if you would like to use the sofa bed. It is cosy with three adults staying. There is high speed wifi for people who need to stay for business and a table to work at. I have provided a Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge. I also provide a very simple breakfast - toast, butter, jam, marmalade, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. If you want a full English breakfast I can highly recommend Friar Tuck cafe in Amesbury.
Amesbury and the surrounding area has so much to offer - Shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets are a short walk away. Salisbury and District Angling club has fishing on the river at the end of the garden which can be accessed five minutes walk away. Many historical sights are within easy access from our house.

The Tack Room is a lovely cosy space in a concerted stable barn. The room has a comfortable bed and plenty of storage facilities.
The room affords guests access to an adjacent large communal kitchen and wash room equipped with two power showers and 2 wash basins. Communal laundry facilities are also available (2x washing machines and 2x tumble driers). Guests are recommended to bring a dressing gown and slippers for the short dash to the washrooms.
Situated on the edge of the Stonehenge World Heritage Site, a visit to Stonehenge is a must. There is plenty of other places to visit with Scotland Lodge Farm in easy reach of the historic town of Salisbury with plenty more besides.
  • A nice surprise: a rather spacious room in a riding farm, with a comfortable bed. The toilets (on the same corridor) are common as well as the showers and the kitchen for which you have to go out. It is 4 km from Stonehenge. Very convenient to many points of view.

Castle Grounds House is a family home quietly located down a private lane, overlooking the Castle Grounds and within a minute's walk of the Market Place. This is a spacious double room with en suite bathroom with handheld shower, Wifi, tv and Tea/coffee facilities and trouser press.
A large, King Sized bed with proper feather pillows, and crisp cotton bedlinen await you. The room has an en suite bathroom with a bath and hand held shower. With an eclectic mix of furniture the room is a good size and very comfortable - we have tried to provide all the bits and pieces you may require for your stay including a hair dryer and an assortment of basic toiletries. Despite being a stone's throw from the Market Place, we are located on the escarpment overlooking the valley to the south and so you can expect a peaceful night with only the birdsong to disturb you in the morning.
Our home is a minute's walk from Devizes Market Place, and yet it is tucked away from the bustle of the High Street at the end of a quiet lane overlooking the Castle Grounds. There are many and varied restaurants and pubs within walking distance, as well as a cinema. There are good bus connections to train stations as well as to local attractions such as Avebury, Stone Henge, Marlborough, Bath etc.

  • Thank you very much to Charlotte for the toys lent to our children. This contributed enormously to the smooth running of our stay. The place is typical and charming. Quiet and very close to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Peppa Pig World ...

    André2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Its hard to write a review of Charlotte's place, It's a lovely place to stay, quiet, a good space for a couple with a small family, hosts are very responsive and helpful. I enjoyed it there and would stay again (if I'm allowed!)

    Paul2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay at Charlotte's place. The house is perfect for a family, and Charlotte is very nice and friendly. If you plan to visit Stonehenge, this is a perfect address where to stay!

    Emilien 2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable self contained accommodation. It was good to have basic provisions provided. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard garden.

    Dave2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • This rental ticked all the boxes. Charlotte communicated so well that we found it easily. She was there to greet us and show us into an elegant, well-appointed and spotless place. The kitchen and bathroom, besides being spotless, were much better than the typical AirBnB bare-bones accommodation. The bed was comfortable, and the night quiet made sleeping easy. We celebrated the wealth of space and privacy, and the location was perfect for wandering Salisbury, Stonehenge, and the New Forest. I can't think of a single thing to suggest for improvement.

    Elizabeth2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great 2.5 month stay at Charlotte & Charles' place in Shrewton. I enjoyed many evenings sitting outside in the lovely garden area and there is a gate from the garden which gives access to the fields at the back, which is a lovely walk. Charlotte & Charles were so welcoming and kind, and I enjoyed getting to know them. Their adorable cat, Spice, came to visit me sometimes. The annex is clean, quiet and the internet is very good & reliable (I work online so that was important.) All in all, a lovely stay. Thanks & look forward to coming back some time!

    Anna2018-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Charlotte and Charles and delightful; kind but not intrusive. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Perfect "home from home"

  • Charlotte was the best host I had in Airbnb so far. The place is bigger than it looks in the pictures, were very clean, is 10 min from Stonehenge and Charlotte made sure we had everything we needed. Even toys for our kids! I would love to stay there again sometime.

What's great here is we're on Salisbury Plains so if you intend to enjoy a weekend walking, biking, off roading or picnicking this is the perfect location. We can securely store bikes or motorbikes. We have a large social garden with bbq and tree lined views. We're walking distance to the village pub and have a double rosette restaurant and microbrewery 5mins drive/30mins walk away (three daggers). We're 20mins drive from Stonehenge, 10mins drive from Westbury which has a mainline station.
We're in a village location, the kitchen diner is large and newly installed, plenty of parking. We also have an on site yoga studio from which yoga lessons are given to the public so you can take advantage of these if you wish. We also have a jacuzzi-bath in the guest bathroom...always fun and relaxing after a days site seeing or working.
  • Anthony and Claire are two great hosts. The room and bathroom are clean and wonderfully decorated. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend a stay :)

    Vivian2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Spotless room in a very nice home!!! Didn't meet Anthony, but his wife Clare is very welcoming and friendly. Nice jacuzzi in private bathroom where you can relax after your day. Very comfy bed and quiet location. Highly recommended.

  • We enjoyed our stay here so much! The house itself is spacious, beautiful and clean. Our room was very nice, the bed was super comfy and we had a great bathroom (with jacuzzi!). We loved the surroundings and the village itself as well. The Bell Inn pub was only a 5 minute walk and we enjoyed our dinner in a real English pub. Anthony and Clare are super friendly and nice. We wanted to go to London and didn't know where to park the car, so they helped us by picking out a spot outside London with a car park and showed us how to get the train to London. We will for sure come back to stay a little bit longer :)next time!! And we miss the dogs already :)

    Kimberly2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • I was happy to stay in the place where everything is thought about and we could have a nice rest after all day of sightseeing. Anthony and Clare are taken great care that our rest were nice.

    Vaidotas2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • So nice and lovely place and hosts! Clare and Anthony had special intentions to me by helping to find the place, share a place in the garage for the motorcycle and give advices for the places to visit! You can't wait for a best place ! Between Bath and Stonehenge, the country side is beautiful, the house is awesome: beautiful, clean, warm, with all equipments and well situated. I have appreciated talking with the hosts, I recommend this place and I will recommend it when I'll be back in France. Thanks for all.

The accommodation was clean and in a great location to walk into town/the canal tow path for walks. Devizes is a friendly town, relaxed on NYE with free entry to many venues and with so many pubs to choose from, you won’t have to queue to get in or at the bar! Great time had by all.
  • Sarah is a hospitable host, and response to any queries promptly. Location is extremely convenient to attractions like stonehedge, etc.

  • Annie and Martin offer a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy Salisbury. First, the accommodations are first rate—clean, comfy in every way. These lovely hosts generously shared their home, knowledge of the area and their time in a delightful chat about ourselves and the world at large. Just the kind of experience for which I choose ABnB. The bus to Salisbury is a few steps out the door from the house. Car parking in front of the house was secure, convenient. So nice to forget the car and explore without worry or hassle. I expect I’ll be returning to Salisbury same time next year, and so it goes I will look into staying with Annie and Martin. I look forward to then....

  • Great cosy little place located at a fantastic working farm with loads of amazing horses! Flexible self check in which is great if you’re out until the evening. Few good pubs in walking distance nearby and very quiet and friendly. Can’t wait until spring/summer next year to look at booking a long weekend and go for long walks/cycles at the many beautiful country woods!

  • Tracey and Guy are fantastic hosts! They are very welcoming and generous people and went the extra mile to make me feel at home. The house is spotless , very warm and homely. It felt like staying in a home from home. Tracey and Guy offered thoughtful extras such as providing towels, breakfast & beverages/biscuits in the bedroom which were much welcomed. Absolutely lovely people and a 5*** stay, will definitely visit again.

  • Great room in a lovely house in a nice, quiet and safe area. Didn’t get to meet Tracey and Guy, but received a warm welcome from their daughter Laura and really enjoyed my stay. I’m working in the area and have booked to stay again next week, which should tell you all you need to know.

  • Tracey's place is very nice. They make you feel like their home really is your home while you are there. They are very accommodating, and are full of ideas on what to see and do in their area ... or whatever direction you are travelling next. Thanks for the information on Woodhenge, Guy; I'd never heard of it before.
