Places to stay in Shrawley
Start the day with a coffee in the courtyard at The Bothy a characterful hideaway with preserved period features, from exposed bricks to arched windows and doors. Light the wood-burning stove and snuggle up after a refreshing country walk.
Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room with kitchenette and Woodburning Stove, entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with private en suite shower room. Through a door in the wall of the Victorian walled garden of our home is The Bothy, originally home to the workers that tended the gardens for the manor house, The Noak, and the horses in The Coach House. The Bothy sits in the gardens of the Coach House, a perfect haven for two. Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with en suite shower room. Your stay includes your own heated private Bothy; Wood for the wood burner; in-room mini-fridge, kettle & toaster; Fresh (and super soft) towels and bedding; Flat-screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player (ask if you want something to watch we have looads!); FREE Wi-Fi; FREE Breakfast cereals, bread, butter, milk, jams, sugar, tea, coffee; Bose Bluetooth Speaker; Mini hob; slow cooker and cookbooks; There's a lovely patio outside your front door with bistro table and chairs. The bed I've been told by many a friend that it's super comfy; Lovely warm duvet, choice of pillows and extra blankets. Free parking on the private drive. Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, take a look at some of the photos as our family said hello this spring! An incredible time of year to visit! During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers. Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have maps ready. There's great walks and easy access to the well know Worcestershire Way Walk (33miles in total,) but not compulsory! You can do bits of it according to how much you're in the mood for! If you're traveling light and want to keep it that way we have a selection of wellies you can choose from if the weather requires it. Plus toiletries in your en suite and if you use the washer we have washing liquids and softeners for you to use. If you're unsure please just ask! Or if you forget a toothbrush or anything let me know I may have a spare (in packet don't worry!) You have your own self contained room with en suite bathroom and wood burning stove so you'll have your own cosy space to cuddle up in! We won't enter your space at all during your stay. Although you won't have absolute access to our home, you'd be welcome to use the washer/dryer-see extra details. We have tried to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday easy and enjoyable from the start-The bothy has a fridge and kettle and toaster, plus mini hob and a slow cooker. Cereals, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter and Jams are provided. We will be here to welcome you and The Bothy is in the garden of our home so you will probably see us coming and going. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us! If you're staying for a week or more we will arrange to change the linen and towels and to do a surface clean at a time that is convenient for you. We are on the edge of a small village, very much in the countryside. The village has a shop and post office within walking distance (less than 10 mins there, slightly more back as it's uphill that way!) The closest pub is a good walk away but drivable in about 4 mins. There are several pubs within a couple of miles which are more appropriate for a drive or a bike ride. Closest supermarket is on the edge of Worcester roughly 7 miles. There's golf within 8 miles, walks from a few miles up to the famous Worcestershire Way of 33 miles in total. Fishing within 5 miles. There's a lovely walk to the River Teme in around 20-25 minutes. The Malvern Hills are around 20 minutes drive and some of the most famous villages in The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are within an hour or so drive. I have lots of extra info for you when you arrive if you want it, I'm happy to help you find the activity you're looking for ! You can get here by bus from Worcester if you're traveling in on the train as there is a bus service into and from Worcester. We are about 45 minutes to 1 hour drive from Birmingham airport. Around 1hr 45 minutes drive from Bristol Airport. If you need a lift please always ask, we'd be happy to help where possible. We are a family with kids, ages 6, 8, 15 and 17 we have a dog and a cat. The dog is small an uber friendly, the cat is scared of the dog so if the dog is there the cat won't be! We're not rowdy but you're bound to hear us coming and going and chatting and potentially some playing and giggling, so long as you don't mind being on the edge of a friendly, family environment we'd love to welcome you! If you'd like to use the washer and dryer in the utility room of our house you're welcome, just let me know as soon as you can-you can imagine it's a well used area in our family! Pets are welcome but please chat with me before booking. Your own private Bothy and you're welcome to wander around our gardens and grounds. If you need a washer/dryer please ask, it's defintely possible to use. £3 a load, wash and dry to cover costs and liquids etc. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us! If you're staying for a week or more we will
The estate is on the edge of a small village in the countryside, with a pub close by & a shop & post office within walking distance. The Malvern Hills are around 20 minutes' drive away and The Cotswold s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is about 50mins drive away:

  • The effort and detail was amazing. I liked the size of the shower cubicle - lots of elbow room, the cleanliness of the toilet, the bread and milk that was provided as well as the toiletries/ sanitary supplies, the Bose wireless speaker sounded great, good quality crockery. All of this made for a great stay. I would stay again and recommend it.

    Hartlebury, Worcestershire, United Kingdom

Charming, cosy, quintessentially English, family run self-catering accommodation for up to 5 people set in Sir Edward Elgar’s birth village, close to the picturesque riverside City of Worcester. You can be assured of peace and quiet (apart from the dawn chorus/passing horses!), but with the convenience a shop and two lovely pubs within walking distance. Just 3 miles from Worcester with easy transport links nationwide. We are proud to have over 4 years experience and now 350 positive reviews.
We believe The Coach House dates back to the Tudor period, to around 1500 and was the original Coach House to what was Peachley Farm which is now our home, 'Peachley House', a Grade II listed building dating back over 400 years. The Coach House is a fabulous, historical, tranquil space full of timbers and atmosphere but we've ensured that areas such as the kitchen and bathroom have a modern, clean feel. Behind your own front door, the space is on two levels with a modern dining kitchen and bathroom on the ground level. The beautiful, spacious, vaulted timbered first floor loft is a large open plan area containing a comfy double bed and a large king size sofa bed, Smart flat screen TV with freeview channels. There is also a sofa bed in the kitchen so you can comfortably sit in the downstairs area. This can be used as an extra bed if required for a 5th guest (see additional charge for 5th guest) Please mention at booking. Your stay includes heating in colder months, constant hot water, fresh towels and white cotton bedding, a flat screen TV with freeview channels, Netflix etc, DVD player, iPhone/docking station for music, DAB radio, free Wi-Fi and kitchen basics such as tea and coffee. Upstairs, the bed is a comfy double and the second is a king sized sofa bed, there is also a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. For Our Younger Guests - I can provide a travel cot and high chair for younger guests - please message me before arrival. There is a permanent wooden stair gate at the top of the stairs which will allow your little ones to roam around upstairs without fear of them taking a fall. I am also happy to arrange a selection of toys to keep young children occupied, just mention it at booking.
The Coach House is located in the small, pretty, rural village of Lower Broadheath, famous for being the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar, the English composer. Our village houses 'The Firs' his birthplace museum, recently taken over by The National Trust and sits within the 'Elgar route'. Our village boasts two pubs: a nice, family run country garden pub, great for kids! - The Bell Inn (10 minutes walk). A further 5 minute walk away gives you The Dewdrop Inn, more of a restaurant, offering bistro style dining. Both get extremely busy and last minute availability on Fridays and Saturdays is very limited, so please let me book ahead for you - just mention it via airbnb messaging. Both don't serve food after 8pm on a Sunday. If you don't mind a short drive, The Crown Inn in Hallow, 5 mins drive away, is fabulous. We have also recently opened a village Community Shop (Feb 2019) funded by the villagers and run by volunteers - for all your essentials and a cup of tea for a modest donation! There is a Tesco Express with cash point less than 2 miles away at Henwick Park, as well as a fish and chip shop, hair salon and launderette. There is an abundance of walks and bike trails locally to include The Severn Way and Worcestershire Way and walks beside the Severn and the Teme. Malvern and its Hills are a 20 minute drive away. There are also lots of local fishing pools locally, the closest being at The Cobhouse, 1.5 miles away. Currandine Barn wedding venue is very close to us (4.5 Miles). Over the years, we have provided accommodation to many guests attending weddings there. Being in the centre of England, we feel that we are exceptionally well positioned for the M5, M6, M40 and M42 motorways and for further travel across the UK: Malvern and the Three Counties Showground 13 miles Stratford Upon Avon 24 miles Cotswolds Villages 30 miles Warwick 30 miles Ludlow 21 miles Birmingham (centre) 32 miles Bicester Outlet Village 53 miles Oxford 54 miles Bristol 55 miles London (centre) 100 miles South Wales Coast 80 miles Edinburgh 260 miles I have put together a box of leaflets about things to do and see locally which will be available in the Coach House to help you make the most of your stay. We will also be happy to suggest places to visit when you arrive. The tourist information offices located in both Worcester and Malvern are also excellent for information and ideas.
  • Great location for the Worcester area. Rachel was a fantastic host and took time out her way to greet us on arrival. Place was spotlessly clean and could not recommend enough.

    Paula2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for one night but we all wanted to stay longer! The coach house was so so lovely, such a great space and so many nice touches such as tea, coffee, shampoo etc etc etc! We walked to the Dew Drop Inn (around 15 mins) for dinner (which Rachel very Kindly booked for us). That was lovely too! We also stopped at the Malvern Hills on the way which was lovely and I would love to spend more time there. At the coach house they also offer massages/facials from a local therapist etc if booked in advance! Such a nice break away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks so much!

    Jodie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel ensured that both a cot and high chair were setup in time for our arrival (we have a 14 month old). She also put toys out for him, which he loved! The whole house was nice and warm, perfect for our little one. It was also spotlessly clean so we had no problem with him crawling around on the floor up/downstairs. The stair gate was also a massive plus! Overall a great stay for families with babies/toddlers.

    Molly2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great, cosy coach house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Laura2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect host and lovely, private house which was cosy but still had plenty of space for 5 adults. Outstanding value, especially since it is so close to the Malvern Hills.

The Old Dairy is a beautiful 100-year-old barn with a stylish modern twist. As the name suggests it was originally used as a dairy to milk cows and in the bedroom you will see an original chain to halter the cow whilst being milked.
Light and open, the barn is characterised by the rustic stone-flagged floor, beautiful wooden beams and exposed brick wall. The cottage comprises a country cottage-style kitchen/diner, comfortable lounge area and large bedroom, complete with sky-light, perfect for a spot of star gazing. The large patio doors from the dining area offer a beautiful view over the picturesque courtyard. Outside enjoy a drink and a BBQ on your patio or get truly decadent in your wood-fired hot tub in your private garden area.
We are in a beautiful rural location with plenty to do close by, from walks into the countryside and woodlands right from the doorstep.

In the very heart of Worcestershire countryside, a beautifully renovated single storey piggery. Travel just four miles to the centre of our historic city and find yourself on the banks of the River Severn with Worcester Cathedral dominating the skyline. We are very proud of our City and countryside and will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The Annexe is a beautifully bright and spacious, the vaulted timbered ceiling enables light to fill the room throughout the day. Conversely, shut the blinds and curtains and create a warm cosy space to retreat into until the morning. Amenities include a spacious wet room, comfortable kingsize bed, a flat screen television with freeview channels, WiFi, table & chairs, tea & coffee making facilities, towels and plenty of hanging space for your clothes. The Annexe is part of the overall central heating system and we try to maintain a comfortably ambient temperature all the time. If you would like more heat in the Winter there is a very efficient electric oil heater at your disposal. If you are too warm it is very easy to turn the radiator down or off. If you are in the room for more than two nights we are happy to arrange a light clean & change of towels at a convenient time to you.
We are in Kenswick which is a tiny hamlet of the village of Lower Broadheath. The walks and bridle paths are in great supply around here, you may find you way onto a country footpath from the back of our property, this will take you around to the Cob House Country Park (great breakfast) and various other lovely locations. There is much to explore. Lower Broadheath has two lovely pubs, The Bell which has great pub food and a great pub garden or The Dewdrop which is slightly finer dining, I would suggest booking the Dewdrop and would recommend both establishments. Across in Hallow (a couple of miles) is The Crown which is certainly a favourite of ours and the other way in Martley is the Masons Arms which again I would certainly recommend. Finally we have the most amazing authentic Thai restaurant a couple of miles up the road in Wichenford called Chim Doo, you may dine there or order in a great take away. There is a village community shop in Lower Broadheath or a few miles down the road there is a Tesco Express. Next to the Tesco is a fish & chip shop and a launderette. Finally, it would be remiss of me not to mention The Firs (National Trust) this is the Birth Place of the composer Sir Edward Elgar, his home sits nestled in the heart of Lower Broadheath and is worth a visit if you have the time.

  • Stayed for a wedding but would be the perfect getaway stay! Hosts super helpful and the place was immaculate!

  • An excellent stay at Beechfield and such a lovely location too! The apartment is top notch; Tracey's communication and hospitality is to be commended. With her help we were settled in immediately, with advice on the finer points of the apartment e.g heating and felt right at home straight away. Highly recommended! Thank you both! :)

  • Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Tracey and mike’s beautifully furnished modern, clean and cosy property! Fantastic hosts who greeted us on arrival and showed us round. The property had everything we needed from milk, cereals and crumpets and there were some lovely little touches like the bottled water in the bedroom and top notch information booklet which we used when booking a taxi into Worcester. Great location and beautiful grounds in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    Aimee2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful rural location close to town. Very peaceful, Tracy and Mike were very good hosts. A+

    Kiera2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish, comfortable apartment presented in immaculate condition . Thoughtful touches such as water by the bed, breakfast cereals and crumpets. Exceptional attention to detail.

    Patrick2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Only stayed for one night but Tracey and Mikes place was brilliant; very clean, spacious and great facilities. Check in was simple and they were on hand to reply quickly with any questions we had. Could have been asked to pay double here and still would have thought it was a reasonable price for what they offer!

  • This was our second visit to Callum’s place, on our way back from a windy week in Cornwall and Storm Dennis. Callum was straight out to welcome us again, and we quickly settled in to our pad, nicely warmed and with a highly-appreciated welcome tray and fresh orange juice in the fridge. The dog quickly settled in, probably thinking she owned the place. Evening meal in the Bowling Green pub (dogs welcome) was only a five minute walk away, (don’t forget your torch for the walk back), and a good sleep in the comfy bed quickly followed. Thanks a lot, Callum, we’ll be back.

    Bob2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

    Robert2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Callum’s place was a real haven, with a great welcome as we arrived. Super clean and tidy with a very comfy bed, just what we needed after a long drive. Pippin, our dog, really took to the place and the really thoughtful touches of doggy treats and poo bags if we needed them. We weren’t forgotten either, with tea, biscuits, orange juice and milk, ready for a bit of relaxation when we arrived. A great find to break our long journey.

    Bob2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Callum was a fantastic host, very understanding of our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The studio flat is situated in a beautiful countryside location, very peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation was lovely and clean and consisted of a living space, double bedroom and bathroom with a shower and had everything we required. Would highly recommend.

Clover Cottage is a beautiful & characterful 400-year-old detached cottage where the original build dates to the mid 1600’s. The cottage stands in a large mature plot of formal gardens and adjoining paddocks in approximately 1.5 acres. Clover Cottage also enjoys a high degree of privacy with far reaching views. Comhampton is part of the Hamptons, which is a lovely little hamlet in the highly desirable area of Ombersley, which is only 10 minutes from the historic Worcester city centre.
The adjoining cottage to our house, is accessed via its own private entrance which is found at the rear of the property. You will discover quickly an abundance of natural light throughout. At the rear of the property you have beautiful views of the gardens, pond and access to a patio area and paddocks via timber framed French doors. To the front of the property you have views of the private gated drive and garden. The cottage is over two floors, with the ground floor consisting of a sitting room/dining room, boot room, W/C. There is also a food preparation area where you will find cupboard space, sink, a combination microwave with built in oven and grill and tea and coffee making facilities. As you ascend the oak staircase to the first floor you will find a double-bedroom with a Juliette-balcony, a second twin bedroom and bathroom. All rooms have natural light and views across the gardens.
With so much on our doorstep it is difficult to include everything here, however here are some of our favourite things to do locally. Popping into the famous Checketts deli for tea and cake, visiting the Little Owl Farm and taking a stroll around the winding country lanes.

Room with a view. Self contained luxury flat in the heart of rural Worcestershire, but within easy reach of Worcester, Malvern & Stourport on Severn. Come and unwind in this beautiful part of the country. On arrival, sit on the balcony, enjoy the stunning views, whilst enjoying a local ale or a hot drink with home baked cake (if the weather is inclement the view from the Breakfast Bar is equally special). The private flat, sleeps 2, with shower, toilet & bidet. Breakfast is also provided.
Breakfast is self-service - cereals; free range eggs from 'Princess Peck' and our other ex-battery rescue chickens; home made bread (or toast) & home made jams; with unlimited tea & coffee. There is also a microwave. In the summer months a gazebo and a gas B-B-Q are available on request. The flat has twin beds, which can be turned into a double on request - don't worry about the gap - a special bolster deals with that issue! There is a DVD/TV which can be angled towards the bed or the sofa. The bathroom has a shower, toilet & bidet - with complimentary toiletries.
The flat is above the detached double garage, at the end of a private drive. There are only 2 neighbouring properties and as can be seen from the photographs only distant farm houses can be seen from balcony. A footpath takes you to Monkwood Green, itself is a site of special scientic interest and from there it is just a short stroll to the 'Fox Inn' - an extremely interesting country pub. The Fox does not serve food, but many of the local country pubs do fine food. There is also a Thai restaurant nearby, which will also delivers to the property. The City of Worcester is only a fifteen minute drive away with all the amenties you may desire. Worcester is a great place to visit with riverside walks along the River Severn, the imposing Cathedral, the historic Commandery & Diglis Basin - the start of the Worcester to Birmingham canal. For the sports fans Worcester has Premiership Rugby, County Cricket & a historic Race Course, plus numerous golf courses. Closer to the property is English Heritage's Witley Court, with its house, gardens, Baroque church, woodlands & tea room. There are numerous walks from the property or you can borrow our tandem and get further afield on quiet country roads.

Bryar House was once a garage and then a furniture show room, before it became a family home. We have lived here since 2006 and have fully renovated the entire house. Our guest room has an en-suit bathroom. You also have use of a breakfast/lounge room situated at the front of the house with views over the near by hills. We are very happy to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy your stay. We also have a double room available for hire.
This is a no smoking property
Great Witley is a small village in the heart of Worcestershire. We are proud of our beautiful location, which is surrounded with stunning countryside that has some well marked walks and a whole host of lanes to cycle in. Also located in the village is the famous Witley Court, with one of the finest examples of a Baroque church in England. We are also within a few miles of Shelsley Walsh Hill climb which hosts numerous car racing events throughout the year. The historic city of Worcester is about 12miles away where you can explore the Cathedral and Camaraderie with all the civil war history, the beautiful river bank and many shops and restaurants. Worcester also has a horse racing course and is home to the county Cricket Club. The Worcester Warriors rugby club has its ground on the edge of the city and is easily accessible from Great Witley. Malvern and its beautiful hills are within half an hour drive. Stourport-on-Severn is a 5 mile drive and just beyond is the picturesque Georgian town of Bewdley
  • My son stayed whilst doing his lifesaving exam at the local school. It was good to know he was well looked after in such an immaculate house. Having breakfast was a great bonus. Sue kept in touch constantly. Highly recommend.

Cuttermoon Lodge is a unique self catering log cabin with it's own private hot tub, situated on the outskirts of the village of Little Witley, in the heart of Worcestershire. We believe we have found our own little piece of heaven and want to share it!
Guests at Cuttermoon Lodge can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and gardens from the comfort of their own veranda which boasts a hot tub and BBQ area. The lodge also has a secluded picnic area and fire pit, ideal for making the most of summer evenings. The self catering accommodation consists of a double bedroom with a king size bed, shower room with WC, basin, electric shower and towel rail and an open plan well equipped kitchen/ lounge area. The lounge has a comfortable double sofa bed that can be used for additional guests. We are pet friendly so if you would like to bring a furry friend, please contact us so that we can make any necessary arrangements.
Little Witley is a very pretty Worcestershire village situated 8 miles west of Worcester City. A car is definitely recommended as our local shops and pubs are 2 - 3 miles away.
  • Truly Magical place.. everything there for your stay! Lovely hot tub and bed you won’t want to get out off... Helen offered to take us to the pub and collect so we could have a tipple! And some late night medicine when things got heavy 🙈 a great hamper which we enjoyed! Helen is lovely she couldn’t do enough for us... so peaceful and you have to try to believe. xx

    Chris2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing little sanctuary of a place. My husband and I, our 10 week old son and our labrador Dexter stayed for 2 nights and we were made to feel so welcome! 2 nights was not enough! We absolutely loved Cuttermoon Lodge - so much thought has gone into every last detail, and the welcome package is second to none. Helen and Jon are so helpful and friendly - we will definitely be returning as Storm Dennis slightly hampered our ability to get out and about and explore with our little boy - but all the more reason to come again!

    Orianne2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing lodge, Helen and John were very lovely people, the space was exceptional and helens birthday decorations for my partner made it all the more special. Highly recommend, simply cannot fault this place. Everything was perfect.

Mill Farm country retail is a mile and a half away. The Den cafe bar which Mandy and Steven own (Host's ) is situated within Mill Farm. Tenbury Wells, Bromyard and the Malvern Hills are a short drive away.
  • Great place to stay. Thoroughly recommend.

  • Me and my partner loved our stay at the birds nest, beautiful scenery and a stunningly stylish home! Spotlessly clean space, lovely and warm on arrival, and not to hard to get to with the directions from Mandy. We also visited the den for a cream tea, and my partner, who is gluten free, was well looked after with a beautiful gluten free selection of finger sandwiches and cakes. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and would highly recommend to any couple for a romantic little getaway.

    Jody2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little space. Much bigger than the photos in the listing. Would like to return in Spring when we can enjoy the gorgeous views. The Den is a lovely cafe with log burner. Food is very good.

  • The Birds Nest is a wonderful space, in and out. The interiors decor is delightful and it is a very comfortable and restful space to be if the weather dictates. Outside, there a is a decking which looks out over the Teme valley, perfect for watching the sun set. A lovely spot away from it all!

    Philip2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Bird’s Nest is a beautiful place to stay, especially if you enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and breath taking views. Mandy & Steve were extremely accommodating and very helpful with any enquiries we had before our arrival. We will definitely be going back.

  • This place exceeded our expectations! The beautiful cabin is tucked away in the countryside and has everything you need! We were greeted with a card from the hosts as they were away for our stay and the fridge was stocked with milk, a fresh pack of coffee and biscuits. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal and the living area includes a sky TV and a full collection of DVDs. The bedroom is spacious with a big comfy double bed and a big ensuite shower that is perfect. The cafe the hosts own is just down the road and is worth a visit! The food and cake was amazing and the staff are super friendly. Will definitelybe visiting again!

  • I am writing this review on behalf of my husband, father in law and friend as I made the booking. All guests had an amazing break, the caravan was to a very high standard, modern, clean and overall just absolutely lovely. So much so, my dad has made a booking for this weekend from their recommendation. Thank you so much for making their break so welcoming, we couldn't ask for anything more, I am sure they will be returning very soon!

  • Had a lovely last minute bank holiday getaway (despite the rain!) in Andy and Hannah’s well equipped caravan. The setting is beautiful and peaceful overlooking the river Severn. The communication with Andy was very quick and helpful with local tips and flexible checkin arrangements. The only two things lacking would be WiFi as the Vodafone and O2 phone signal was non existent and a floor covering for the balcony (some of the other caravans had this).

  • What a lovely, little, quirky place to stay! Had a wonderful time here with my 11-year-old son. It was so clean and welcoming. Plenty of breakfast bits left to start our days well. My son loved sleeping in the lower part of the bed, it was like his own little boy cave :) I would definitely stay here again, and in good weather, I can imagine it's even nicer as we could sit at the picnic table outside absorbed in the lovely surroundings. Thank you so much!

  • The Orchard Shepherds Hut offered us the most relaxing, peaceful weekend away. The hut is delightful, small but perfectly formed! Little touches such as the breakfast ingredients and cafetiere coffee made our weekend that little bit more special. Situated in a quiet lane yet metres from the village pub meant a good pub meal Friday night, with Sat night spent at the hut making use of the hob and microwave. Perfectly sufficient for a 2 night break. Thank you Sebastian and Janine!

Come and enjoy a stay at our lovely Georgian Dower House! You'll love the spacious, relaxed feel to the house, and the privacy and peace of your own part of the house, with double room and private bathroom. Excellent continental breakfast included, with fresh pastries, breads/toast, and decent coffee! 2nd room has luxury adult bunk-beds. Bespoke, extra-wide, with pocket-sprung mattresses and duck feather-down pillows. King room is for 2 people, book for 3 or more if you require both rooms.
The house was originally part of the Witley Court Estate and used by successive dowager Countesses (to the Earls of Dudley) from 1837, through to the 20th Century. Stunning interiors and many original period features around the house. There are countless, well-known walks from the door, or we're 3 miles from 'The Worcester Way' a famous 31 mile walking route from Bewdley to the North hill of the Malvern hills, and the Curradine Barns wedding venue is 0.9 of a mile down the road (very walkable if it's a boozy night!). Your space is a large Georgian bedroom in a self-contained part of the first floor. You have a private staircase, landing, bathroom, and there is a second bedroom available, with luxury bunk beds, for a third or fourth guest (but only in your group) . The bedroom has a very high ceiling, large sash window, original fireplace and is thoughtfully decorated and furnished for a luxurious and comfy feel. Kingsize bed, deep, pocket-sprung mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets, plump, feather-down pillows. It's a warm room with big radiator, but there's a luxury throw, an electric heater, and even a dual-control electric blanket if you like an extra-toasty winter night in! Your bathroom is also very large, high ceiling, sash window, excellent electric shower, always piping hot water, big, Egyptian-cotton bath towels, and luxury shower gels, shampoo and hand lotion. We have a decent garden you're welcome to enjoy, have a coffee/smoke/sit and chill!
The house is rural, surrounded by countryside, looking South to the Malvern Hills, and West towards Abberley Hill and the 'Worcester Way' and on into the beautiful Teme valley. There are decent local shops within 3 miles, good local produce and off-licence and post office. The house is on it's own and is quiet and peaceful without being isolated.
  • Lovely house, perfect for anyone looking for somewhere to stay near Curradine Barns. Everything we needed and the hosts are lovely.

  • What a lovely, cozy place to stay! Me and my partner stayed here over Christmas as we were in between houses and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Kim and Alaister, nothing was ever too much trouble. The place itself was cosy and has all the amenities you will need even a small private garden area outside which I’m sure would be lovely in the summer and Smart TV with Sky package if it’s raining! Another great point is that Kim and Alastair own the on-site cafe and art gallery, both are definitely worth a visit. We ate at the cafe a couple of times whilst we were there, the food and the staff were both perfect. The scrambled eggs being a must try! If you would like a relaxing weekend away in Worcester or even a longer stay in-between homes we would definitely recommend you staying here. We hope to see both Kim and Alastair in the future and would visit again. Thank you for everything. Tom and Hannah.

  • John was a fantastic host and the cottage is definitely one of the best places i've stayed on Airbnb. It's located in the grounds of John's beautiful home and gardens and is lovely and private. The cottage is beautiful and offers a big living room and bedroom, both lovingly decorated. I would highly recommend for a stay around Worcester, in fact I'll probably find a reason to go back! Thanks so much John.
